Christianity Etc › Re: What Is Predestination? by Spotless180(op): 3:17pm On Jul 06, 2014 |
Ubenedictus: sorry dear, i really over delayed.
In the wildest sense Predestination mean every eternal Divine resolve of will.
In the narrower sense it refers to the eternal divine resolve of will with regards to the final destination of rational creatures.
In the dumbest sense it means God has always resolved that certain people will make eternal bliss or will be granted grace.
Predestination is an act of divine pre-science (i.e God knows the future), and predetermination (i.e God decrees certain things to happen).
Basically that is predestination. let me get it clear. U mean some people are destined to go to hell while others to heaven? |

Read Daniel 3:1-3. The instruction to bow down to the image was to everyone in the province and outside the province. Why was Daniel not there? |
Christianity Etc › Re: Jamb Questions From The Book Of Daniel For Christians & Scholars To Answer by Spotless180(op): 10:40am On Jul 06, 2014 |
Akanniade: Q3 Daniel was the image setup by the king. Chapter 2 verse 46&47 gives us insight into this. The king believed since all his wise men failed and Daniel succeeded, Daniel must be the visible presence of a god and deserves an image. Daniel of course is exempted from bowing to himself.
I liken this to our modern era worship of Haile selassie by rastafarians even when he himself denies claim to divinity. the instruction was to everyone including Daniel. Read it well. |

Pastors only want to enrich themself and twisted the bible and brainwash their poor followers. i dnt know why people still pay firstfruits. Anything that has to do with money is upheld so much in church. But they forgot that church is nt all about gathering money. Pls try 2 type clearly. Thanks. |

Pastor Kun: Tithes and first fruits in the old testament NEVER involved money, it is modern day pastorpreneurs that are twisting them to mean money from income and smuggling it back to christianity through scriptural manipulation. but does tithe and firstfruits still holds today? Is it valid to pay tithe and firstfruits through any medium today whether money or agricultural produce? |

Why are some laws that involves money in the old testaments such as tithe and firstfruits are retained by pastors as valid while others are thrown off? Is tithe and firstfruits and others that has to do with money not moses laws again? Why is the one that involves money are retained by pastors and others are waved off?
