I really appreciate your feedback on my transcript

I can deduce three things wrong in my transcript now
1. Self sponsor gives a red flag
2. Not linking my study plans with my present employment
3. Not able to list out reasonable number of courses I will be doing

I have noted all these.

As for confidence, I was so confident. Looked at her eyes all thru and my voice was loud.

But this people no dey try.
I am an orphan who was opportuned have properties inherited from my parents. I also earn 210600/month (net pay). I have a flat I get rent from and 1 plot of land. Also had deed of agreement of a land I sold 2014 for 3million. I tut I was fit to sponsor myself having 7million in my acct and school fees being 4800 dollars per semester .....Never knew I needed to say all these without being asked - My bad. Guess I will add my brother to be supporting sponsor. He can provide a statement worth 20Million


Linking travel plans to work. I no try at all. I have travelled to the UK b4 and spent just 3weeks - last year May . I tut that would prove that I will come back...I f-up. To add to it, I am married with a kid which in DS-160 (Although there is no space provided in DS-160 to fill if u have a kid except u travelling with the kid)

I have continually read people's post on this trend and prepared hard for possible questions and best possible answer.

I was however refused after so much preparation. Interview transcript below

VO: What are you going to do in the US
Me; I am going for Masters in Business Administration

VO: What are you doing now?
Me: I am customer care executive working with U-connect Niigeria Ltd

VO: Who is sponsoring you?
Me; I am sponsoring myself

VO: If you complete your programme , what will u be doing when you come back
Me; I am taking a study leave and will be coming back to continue my job.

VO: What are the courses you will be doing?
Me: International Biz and soceity, Quantitative methods, Biz research methods

VO; she started typing for long and gave me the blue paper.

No document asked at all.
I had all my documents; Letter from my employers confirming I applied for study leave, Bank statement, payslips for 7months, Letter of employment for present and previous work place, Academic certificates, My marraige certificate and son's birth certificate.

Behold was another guy beside me shaking as he was answering questions from male VO and was granted his visa.

I intend applying again b4 my school resumes in August. Any advise

Which of the Micro finance bank and for which role. That will give a better advise on their salary.
However, most of them have entry level salary ranging from 35K - 65K

The guest paid 30K and got 3K as refund (i.e 1k each).
Which simply means 27K paid plus 3K refunded is equals to 30K.
The 27K is made up of the 25K which goes to the account of hotel and 2K which goes to the pocket of the attendant.
No money is missing but 2K is stolen by the attendant.
It is just a riddle ....

It would have been better if they can communicate to those that pass so I can take my mind off d job.

Many of us are just hopefuls for a job we might have failed in test already since April. Its so annoying.

There will be another Essay writing. From what I heard. But the delay obviously shows there will be fowl play.

sugaristic: Accounting? The course I studied in the university basically has nothing to do with accounting or banking. So one question I am sure will come up for me and those who did not study anything relating to banking is ....... why so you want to work in a bank and not pursue a career in your profession? I have been cracking my head on the best answer to that...

If u studied Mechanical Engineering, They can ask you question on the simplest course in your field if there is an Engineering Graduate amongst the Interview Panelists. Their interview can come in any way but very simple.
However, if you are not well prepared it might be difficult. Put on WHITE or BLUE shirt with your suit. That's a must for Diamond.

For those of u preparing for interview.
Go and study the simplest of courses you did in your 100Level and basic accounting questions if u can.
They can also any thing. Though simple questions u never would have imagined.

Gatecrashing is not possible in Diamond Bank Test. I have done their test b4 and also tried gatecrashing too. The invites usually come with Exam Number. The best u can do is find contacts in Diamond Bank to help u with the invite b4 23rd. There is still time to do that......

My 1st case still hunts me till date. I was invited for an interview 6days to the end of my NYSC after I passed a test attended by over 9000applicants. I waited for my turn on the interview day for over 9hours. I was called in few minutes to 7pm and the interviewers apologised for the delay yet told me good things don't come easy. On looking at my CV and seeing I'm yet to finish service one of them just said "U are not qualified for this job". It was like someone ringing a bell on my head. I tried to explain to them and they decided to proceed further . They asked questions which I answered and they asked 1 simple question I could not answer. List the accounting principles you know. Omo, My head went blank.........They asked other questions which I still answered and they still went back to that same Accounting priciples.....Omo my head no gree give me response oh!
I just heard "We will get back to you". Kai! My dreams to be a Diamond Bank Staff immediately after service died on d spot....Kai

The Benefit is Banking experience....It can open ways for other opportunities. I was fortunate to have worked with them b4 the implementation of d 2yrs Bond.......you get more interview invites with such Bank experience.

The most recent test by Diamond was last year. Its 50questions , 25 Maths and 25 English.
Basic questions

My people, U can't leave within 2yrs u joined. You will sign a 2yrs bond which will make it obligatory for you to pay 500K if u leave within d next 2yrs. That is a new policy that started January this year. So think twice......I am talking from experience.
Remuneration after tax:
Loan Officers: You will earn 33K (after tax) for the 1st 3months, If u meet ur target during this period u will start earning 40K (after tax) for another 6months. Then if u meet ur target during that six months again, U earn 62K (after tax)......You will then earn this 62K till forever.
Ask yourself if this is what u will like to earn for the next 2yrs.......its ur decision

No submission of CV for now..... I work in commerce house and also waiting for their next recruitment...

Its so sad I did not get the message every1 got...........And d interview went so fine with the interviewers smiling all thru...........This is a bad sign

rolabell: From a reliable source, i heard 140 names were approved for this batch alone. And there is gonna be the 3rd/Last batch. And i know of sum1 who scored over 60, and she is below 26 yrs and hasn't bn called yet. Na turn by turn, the patient dog eats fattest bone. Just get urself busy with something. Very soon u will be called by Gods grace.

Someone can make over 60 and yet not be recommended for employment by d interviewers.......the koko na if they have given any1 above 28yrs offer

Please, Is there any1 above 28yrs old who was called to resume training school.....I am above that and wasn't invited for training school......don't know d reason
