Wrong! Definitely not all transfers. But if you say he sometimes act on others recommendations you're correct. These are people he trusts so he should be able to look at their recommendations and act on them.

As TD he must be involved in all transfers. But as I stated in the post before yours, he is not responsible for the final decisions especially as it concerns the first team.

I just took time to study the argument and realised what its all about.

The fact is in most clubs today not one person is solely responsible, its a collective effort.

One person spots the players and makes a list of recommendations, another negotiates and ULTIMATELY decides who amongst the listed would be signed.

Emenalo is more of youth recruitments at Chelsea, the manager recommends for the first team but its the owner via the negotiator that finally decides.

At Arsenal, Arsene is lord and master. Even Dick Law our negotiator cannot sanction a deal without Wenger's approval. Wenger is given an allocation, how he uses it is up to him.

In summary, its Abrahamovic via Marina that is ultimately responsible. Since the manager and TD has no control of resources.

If Emenalo is the technical director as in TECHNICAL DIRECTOR, then he is responsible for all transfers. This argument is becoming stale especially when the answer- TECHNICAL DIRECTOR is so obvious.

While there is no denying Walcott had an incredible game yesterday, however, he can be quite frustrating considering the frequency of his inconsistency. We have all witnessed the English aspect of his game, especially with regards to his technique on the ball. infact between him and Ox, we were not sure who was worse.

Walcott desperately needs to stay fit and we may see him develop some confidence and consistency.

Yesterday Walcott played with purpose. He knew what he had to do attacking and defensively. When to make dazzling runs, when to track back. When to put pressure on Azpilicueta and when to press on Hazard. He was phenomenal.

I think the pressure was beginning to build up against him being an experienced member of the team and he about to lose his place.

Hope to see similar or even better performances next time.
