Pep and Mou are acclaimed world best coaches, both have a solemn obligation to win the league at first attempt. Mou even more because of PL experience.
Both are in Manchester, both have unlimited spending power, both have rebuilding jobs to do, both can attract the best players.
BOTH SHOULD WIN THE LEAGUE
If not both would be adjudged to be failures. Kpom kwem! |

Nihilist: Obviously both are expected to win.
United would not reportedly pay Jose 5m pounds just to stop him from speaking to other prospective employers, in addition to a further reported 12m pounds annual salary for him not to win.
The man himself said it today
Pep too has to start winning straight away. He's the clubs first marquee signing this season.
Both must begin to win straight away in my opinion I concur... |

Diademk07: Lol! Chelsea were 2nd on the log when he came in his first stint and Porto had consistently won the league twice before Mourinho came in. Madrid too were either 2nd or 1st on the log before Mourinho came in. All of them had quality squad. Most of the players Mourinho worked with, in his first season at a club were mostly the players in the squad he met. Players such as Robben, Cech, Lampard, Terry, Drogba, Deco, Ronaldo, Benzema, Alonso, Ramos, Higuian, Marcelo, etc were already at the clubs before he took over. I really don't know why your peeps find it hard to reason with your logic. Could it be that you are more sensible than them? |

lekkie073: what has poch proven to warrant a better candidate than Jose mourinho? no elite team in d world will pick poch or koeman over Jose ...even lvg will be chosen ahead of poch in any success-seeking club Poch has proven his mettle when he handled Sotton then Tottenham. He loves attacking football and he loves youth which fits in well with United philosophy. Plus he is young and hungry. Mou doesn't fit United, he is living on past glory really. I can be proven wrong though. |

Elxandre: Pep would have used 3 years to get to a start at United.
Don't forget he met a devastating squad at Bayern, and he arguably left them a bit worse off as they could no longer beat any of La Liga's top three.
For now, Pep's tactical skills might still be overrated. You get sense bro. I have been trying to make this point since I arrived NL. |

Roland17: Morata is a considerable upgrade from Giroud, he is also young with a lot of upsides and experience, however, just like Pataki, i don't think he is worth 38M.
Madrid keeping him would depend on what happens with Benzema, Morata has not exactly been prolific in front of goal in his two seasons with Juventus, he has been unable to displace Dybala who arrived Juve from Palermo last season.
A striker in the frame of Dybala would be my preference, i am not inferring we pursue Dybala as that would be a waste of time, Morata is not exactly a Suarez, Aguero, Aubameyang, Higuain, Lewandowski, or even a saido Mane (yes, i said it) , however, he is way better than what we have for that position.
If the price is right i think we should get him. Morata has a better foot work than Giroud and Auba, he comes accross as a younger version of Higuain. He has not been prolific recently but he has that instinct as was seen during the European u23 champs in Israel a couple of years back (together with Thiago Alcantara). Based on his potentials, and the over inflated prices players come now, I think he worths it. |

Fkhalifa: One thing most Arsenal fans don't like admitting his carzola's best position is the ozil role, he gaurantess goals, creating of chances and assists Ozil creates chances and assist but less goals. I wouldn't mind if the two are rotated
Carzola can start attack but can he defend?
And guys how about us bidding for lukaku?
Lakaku is just getting to become a man in a far as football is concern while OG is beginning to grow grey hairs (he is pushing 30s). if we are comparing them now, Lukaku made 37 appearances to Girouds 38. Lukaku scored 18 times with 6 assists and Giroud 16 times with 6 assists. Lukaku made 57 chances Giroud 36. Arsenal had over 100 chances more over Everton, Lukaku had a short accuracy of 56% and Giroud 54%…. Ozil bests Cazorla on the playmaker role, stats are very clear. Ozil's scoring form has also improved. Lukaku will be very expensive being homegrown. If he is better than Giroud it would be by a small margin. Get us Higuain. |
