There is an ongoing National conference about restructuring/regionalism. Each regions already came up with their resolutions but it first need to be discussed by North and South.

The Southern regions have been meeting for quite some time so that they can all have almost same resolution before the national conference with North.

That's why I said average Nigerians are not aware of the conference..

The Lagos state is all about economic benefits. Audio leak of how Gbadebo should be voted for enmass while after winning, some Yoruba's will be jailed( That reasons is best known to them) is online but not that popular

As for the southern regions speaking with one voice, my own curiosity is when would states within a region start working together?

Well I hope they have good deliberations and they should be very aware that things have changed..1940 or 1960 or 19 this and that is gone.. deliberations should be way forward from here. God have so blessed every region in Nigeria so much each can even survive on its own.

I am still trying to get the details of the remaining 5 demands as it's 10 in total

This is not to say you are not posting fake news but their request for the release of Kanu was made under the political/social aspect of the debate which I think is ok as it is part of demands I fear such, remember,it's just a demand and not authoritative. When OBJ was facing impeachment treats from late na'bba,part of the north's demands to caution na'bba was for the release of Mohammad Acha which actually happened.

I also found out that they also made a demand concerning Igbo speaking areas, people in other regions or states like Benue kogi Rivers Edo, (igbanke) which the r yorubas also did for their own people and areas in kogi and Kwara (I'm surprised as this was a pure Yoruba area before)

I also did not see anywhere that the south east demanded for Lagos to be excised from the south west!


The south west demand are very beautiful good demands and I believe others south should copy and support it. If the north now completely claim Kwara and kogi,then the SW hands off.

If the south south now completely claim Rivers then the SE should hands off.

What I don't like in the SE demand is rejecting the outcomes,communique of the other regions simply cos they excluded states like Rivers from exclusively belonging to the SE!

I'm from Edo state and Igbanke cannot be ceded to the SE cos it will fall into delta state and not all delta state is Igbo speaking.


That being said,if we southerner continue fighting and mocking ourselves,we will continue to lose out. We don't seem to know that.

If this is true,then it's highly ridiculous and petty.

I still remember during Buhari when herdsmen was been blamed for almost every attack in Southern regions most especially in the villages.

Majority of those attacks are communal clash.. Herdsmen can't just come all away from the north and be attacking the people in the south . Sense no dey inside

The reason I fear the Peter Obi/Rabiu Kwankwaso presidential ticket is the religious extremism of Former Kano state governor Rabiu Kwankwaso.

In case a lot of people do not remember, Kano state operates Sharia law and that law was signed in June 2000. The governor of Kano who signed that is Kwankwaso and he is not appologethic about it. This suggests that he also supports blasphemy laws and to some level, Islamic extremism.

How me a liberal christian who values my freedom of speech and rights is supposed to react to this news is what supporters of Peter Obi need to inform me how I am supposed to feel.

If we can recall, the US government recently named Kwankwaso as a problem as regards this same matter. Is this the kind of person we want as vice-president?

Before you say he was reluctant to sign the bill into law remember he had a choice to not sign at all but he choice to show weakness or tactically support a law that turned the state into a Muslim state. In fact, Kano was the second state in Nigeria to allow Sharia law after Zamfara which meant it was not even widespread in that time, he just wanted to raise one religious tenets over the other.

Lets think about this before coming to campaign to Christians because Kwankwaso can potentially become president if something happens to his principal, then what? We become a sharia state? We are forced to observed Ramadan?
