This type of building will cost at least 200m from start till full finish, compound works and security house join. But this one here is not a normal duplex. This duplex will build 2 different 4 bedroom duplex and still have change remaining.

Hello @spyder880. Please, I want to ask a question regarding casting of the floor, aside the actual amount for labour, is a builder supposed to charge for casting for each cement used?

Good morning and sorry for responding to this late.

A builder that charges an amount for labour should state the type of labour he means. Is he charging for the labour to pay his workers, or his own payment for supervision of the floor cast.

The way it should work is, a builder charges you for each bag of cement cast, and for masons to control the cast and ensure its levelness. Example

100 bags cast @ 2,000 per bag = N200k
2 Masons @ 6000 day pay = N12k
Supervision N30k

We the people of Enugu are happy. Governor Mba has been a great performer in all the nooks and crannies of our great state. We pray that connecting to the centre will give us more advantages to take our state to the international standards we are aiming for.

Meanwhile, I was in a small village near Enugu yesterday evening, road works ongoing with seriousness. Mba is doing well.

After waiting for some time for the decking to cure, we plan to start working on the upper floor by Monday next week. We plan to start moving men and materials to this building site as from this weekend.

To build a 10 flat, 4 storey building of 3 bedroom flats in this current price regime will take about N380m for everything from site preparation, purchase of materials, workmanship and supervision, transportation and general site management.

But the price may differ according to location and actual building materials used.
