The inside of the compound, in no particular order...............

We are almost done with building this beautiful house, it's time to post the final pictures as we leave.

I will start with the look of the outside of this house, as seen from the street.............

Very soon, we will start moving to stock this site with materials needed to build the upper floor of this building.

Good morning my people, I have called a few of the real estate agents working with me, I plan to go with one of them to inspect the Akpuoga Nike estate today, since it's the one I can move to easily. I have told him that I have a few plots of land for sale inside the estate, my plan is that he will start marketing the lands by advertising it, and taking buyers to the land for inspection.

I also placed calls to my contacts at Ugwuomu Nike and told them to expect to see land agents coming around to market the Ugwuome lands to interested buyers.

I will need to give the survey plan to the agent and point out to him the plots that the owners wants to sell. If you want your plots sold, please chat me up privately so I can include your plot numbers among the ones for sale.

Please be reminded that in the case of those who wants their plots sold, if any serious buyers shows strong interest, they have to keep their documents handy to facilitate a quicker exchange with the buyer.

For those who haven't made up their minds, they need to relax, maybe we will reap bigger returns in the market at a later time. There is also a possibility that this marketing will bring more development to these estates, as new investors move in, and possibly build houses there.

I am also exploring the possibility of aggressive marketing techniques on my own. By printing fliers, using the internet and also telling more friends and associates.

I aim to please ask for the contact of who did it for you. Not everyone know about this type. Some think that it is floor tires

The man who initially did it did not complete the work, and I wasn't pleased about it. I will not release his number so that it doesn't re occur in another site. However I will watch these workers doing this for me now, if they do this work well, I will release their number to you. Thanks.

Oga Spyder, please what will cause this? I like this concrete cast and was hoping to do same too

The cause is just the settlement of the soil beneath the concrete cast. We had to fill the compound with soil, and compacted it. If the compaction is adequate, there will be less settlement, which will keep the concrete on the top firm.

Let this small cracks not discourage you, increte work has proven to be better than many other floor works.

Then we plan to redo the floor works by applying good colours to it, and finishing with a good quality polish.

Yesterday, we identified areas where the floor concrete cast is getting weak, and cut them out with a cutting machine............

We will be returning to this site to redo the floor increte floor works. As from tomorrow, we will start to work here.............

This freshly cast decking slab is still curing, water being poured on the decking top is a very good treatment for the curing process, but since we are in the rainy season, rainfall is constant, so we will relax and wait.

We plan to return and start work in a few weeks time.

That's the internet for you people just post stories and 2 pictures of what they don't understand and blam! Nairaland blows it open on the front page for people to react with half baked knowledge

But we that know our people understand that this is a harmless event that usually ends in young men finding cool girls to marry.

I love this.

If I am around I will just enter that side, very close to my village. It's usually a great celebration.

People come out in their number to dance and make merry, marriages, house openings, child dedication and other activities are planned onto it. The people are friendly and hospitable, and yes, that's the okra farming headquarters around here. Very fresh vegetables like ewa being cooked everywhere.

Getting ready for the start today, its been raining all morning, which on its own is a welcome development. Rain and completed concrete cast are a perfect combination.

We normally use it to vibrate loose concrete to settle down into decking beam lines, and make for a more compact cast................

Our concrete shaking machine arrives at this site...................

The concrete cast of this decking slab will be started today.
