thesicilian: You work under the assumption that school-educated people will inevitably have to work for the street-educated business owners. That's always the flaw in reasoning that tends to confuse the less informed. There are many forms of businesses that you can't even run if you're not well educated. Examples abound in the field of Medicine, Banking and Finance, even oil and gas which are very profitable industries. Have you ever seen an MD or CEO in any of these fields that doesn't have at least a Bachelor's degree? You are confusing academics with education. The tile supplier already has a Bsc which is enough. Countries like China were not built by clerks and certificate mongers. So the question is who was the person that certified the first certifier?. Knowledge can be drawn from the universe without a curriculum. |

hope4nigeria: but what I just posted was true, you have to change your orientation because of society you find yourself, I read mechanical engineering in polytechnic, I also graduated from department of chemistry University of maiduguri 13yrs ago, I've worked in several places before I venture into business, my mission is to establish advance automobile mechanical engineering workshop but I don't have resources to do that, for me to survive in a society like Nigeria, I have to start somewhere, no government is coming to help me but when I prove to government I can work hard, now I can access BOI loan without collateral, just turn over on my statement of account. If you are privileged to come from wealthy home, note that not everyone have such opportunity. Don't mind them. |

thesicilian: Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. You can't expect people to give what they don't have, that's the gospel truth. See ehn you cannot pass your PHD or M.sc certificate to your child. The tile supplier will successfully train his children in the business. The 21st century is not certificate compliant. That guy that started supplying tiles for people today will accrue gigabits of experience and will build a tile factory tmao with ease .M.sc holders will then come and apply. |

Penuelseun: This is not the best advice as an average laptop uses 18.5vdc or 19vdc as input as compared to a battery's 12.8vdc output, he is still going to need an inverter or a boost charger Your textbook theory has been distrupted. Fours years and counting. |

UK was the best country to settle in. We share the same language and have historical links. Well explained. But why can't we explore some other african countries like Mauritius and Egypt? |

RuudVanNisteroy: That is what happened to some of my friends in UK universities in their final semester. Theresa May, the then Prime Minister changed the work permit rules and all the Nigerian graduates had to return back home. Their hopes of obtaining a work permit and eventually obtaining a British passport went up in flames. Must it be Uk? Why not other European country. |

micynute94: Abeg.. Make una help my condition.
Currently posted to a place with zero electricity and I need to power my laptop (uses 65W charger) at night .
I'm on a very low budget for now. Like really low low low low .
#My plan is to scale things up later when I'm financially buoyant but for now, this will do.
I need help with setting up a solar power system with the following:
- 26ah battery (would have preferred 40ah but no money) - 40 - 80 W solar panel - Solar inverter and charger
How much would it cost me to set it up? I would be using the system in Oyo.
Help a brother o
Price :#25k to #30k You don't need inverter. Just connect your laptop directly to your battery. But battery should be outside your room. 100watt solar, pwm regulator, 5mm silver cable, 100amps used mercury battery.Bought everything for less than 50k then. But now everything av cost. |

SEGLIZ: Solar is meant to bring relief not hardship. Solar is none affordable for the masses we all know this. the last time I made enquiry for my wife's business I was so disappointed when the solution I enquired for was so exuberant a small business thriving to pay a 100k for a fan and probably four bulbs. it is weird. What is the main energy need of your wife's business? |

Let's be realistic , though, we aren't generating enough power, and the transmission system isn't fit for purpose.
