Your OND and HND is perfect for you. Is your experience also relevant to building?

If you can prove your 3years experience, then do your assessment through TRA as building and engineering technician or Vettasses as building and Construction Manager.

Any of the assessment will take 3months.

Congratulations. You made a wise choice. RDA RIVERINA is about 2hours drive to Melbourne, 4-5hrs drive to Sydney. You are in a good region. How did Faye treat you?? She is a very pleasant woman I think. I also explored the option too.

Guys, please start looking at 489 option too. Not all the regions are so regional ooo. Even if they are, most of them are better than Lagos. Yes that's it! And most importantly, you are just gonna be there for 2years before you can decide whether to move or not.

An important thing to note is that 489 may be a compulsory pathway to PR visas come July 2018. Please act fast.

Do you both have the following so we can advice who to be the principal applicant?

Age < 39 years
Ability to score high in English 10 or 20 points ( find out)
BSc is 15points, HND is 10 points. You already have 15points.
Experience ( you'll get 15 points assessment ). 8- 10 years gives 15 points.You are good to assess with CPA ( Certified Accountants Australia).

You didn't state your hubby's occupation but with what I'm seeing, you should try to be the principal applicant but must be ready to score very high say 85 so as to get a quick ITA as an accountant.

After filling the EOI forms, I chose Valuer, quote my assessment number. The last page of submit, displayed the total points which is 75points.

Points break down are thus:

Age 25-32 years - 30points ; 33 - 39 years - 25points; 40 - 44year -15points
Education : BSc. - 15points (equated to AQF Bachelors degree) ; HND - 10points (equated to Advanced diploma) etc
Experience : 3-5 years - 5points; 5 - 7years - 10points ; 8-10years - 15points
English : Band 6 (IELTS)/ PTE 50 - 0point ; Band 7 (IELTS)/ PTE 65- 10points; Band 8 (IELTS)/ PTE 79- 20point (PTE and IELTS are just examples, there's OET and TOEFL IBT too)

So analyse your points as applicable above.

You really need a big savings bro as this is not a thounsand investment. However, you will not be spending all the 'fees' all at once, its at different stages.

The big cash you will be spending at once at the Visa fee, which will cost you about AUD9000 (N2.6M)

Not all states bro. Someone got subclass visa 489 ITA recently with 55+10(nomination) = 65points from NSW. His occupation for 189 subclass normally will require him to have 75points buh he got ITA with 65points and has applied for Visa.

If anyone have opportunity to apply for 489 to scale through, it's better to do so now ooo.
Things MAY/WILL change by July. Don't get caught!!!

Thanks. Before they sent the email, it was showing "assessment in progress", when they sent the email, waiting for me to send my scores, it changed to "waiting for applicant's response". When I sent the scores and uploaded the receipt, it changed back to assessment in progess and it has not changed since then.

If this is what's delaying your EOI update, send them an email immediately . If not, wait for another another one week to do that while you hustle for more points.

Hi bro. I noticed that u sent your score on the 13/Feb/2018. It's 2weeks now. What do you have on your dashboard? 'Queue for assessment' or 'assessment in progress'. Please wait for till the end of this week. If you did not receive any feedback from them, fire them an email and ask what the problem is since u paid for fast track.
