Kobojunkie:I have read the Bible and I still read it to this day. It's a poorly made work of fiction and elegant poetry, not gonna lie the poetry in the Bible was on point. But then again, middle Eastern men were known to be great poets so what are you even talking about. Now to you Kunlejunkie, Are you afraid of the Qur'an? Why have you not read it, if you are not afraid? |
If you’re born into a Jehovah’s Witness family you don’t think the religion or anything about it is strange at all. You think everyone else who isn’t a Jehovah’s Witness is strange. You’re told what “the world” is like (it’s all bad) and how dangerous it is. You grow up using Jehovah’s Witness terminology (cult experts call this “loaded language”) which other members understand but non-members think the words mean something else: The world - All non-Jehovah’s Witnesses and anything outside of the religion. It’s run by Satan. The truth - The Jehovah’s Witnesses Babylon the great - All religions outside the Jehovah’s Witnesses. The new system - The earth after Armageddon which will be inhabited by Jehovah’s Witnesses who’ll all become vegetarians and live forever. The society - The Watchtower society, supposedly “God’s organization on earth”. The birdcatcher - Satan. DF’d (dee-effed) - Disfellowshipped - Someone who’s been kicked out of the religion for breaking one of the cult’s rules. They’re to be shunned and treated as if they’re invisible regardless of whether they’re your parents or even your own children. DA’d (dee-ay’d) - Disassociated - Someone who defects or chooses to leave the Jehovah’s Witness religion. They’re regarded as deceitful, bitter, disgruntled, lying opposers who are mentally diseased. JW’s are taught that they can catch this disease simply by talking to ex-members. Pioneer - A Jehovah’s Witness who devotes 70+ hours preaching a month (for free). Opposer - Someone who simply disagrees with Jehovah’s Witness teachings. You grow up never acknowledging your own birthday, treating it as a normal day and not celebrating it. You also don't celebrate Christmas, Easter, new years, Valentine’s Day or national days like Independence Day. But you don't miss it, because you’ve never had them anyway. You’ll also find that you feel at least a little bit proud about it though because you’re taking your religion seriously and those “silly people” are celebrating “pagan” festivals. Your weekends are never your own. In fact, you won’t ever get a lie in. Saturday morning is spent knocking on doors and Sunday mornings are spent in the Kingdom Hall for a 2 hour meeting followed by more knocking on doors. On Sunday you likely won’t get home until about 3:30 pm. If you’re in school you’re expected to try and convert your classmates and you’re not allowed to have non-JW friends outside of school. So if they knock for you after school to play outside or come over to their house you have to think up an excuse and say no. You won’t learn about any other religion, unless it’s from Watchtower literature, and you’re taught that everything that the Watchtower magazines say are true. To question “God’s organization” is to question God himself - and you remember what happened to Korah when he questioned Moses? God killed them all! (This is actually a real threat that the governing body use against their followers). You’re taught that Armageddon is coming any day now - it’s “just around the corner” (a real term they use) and the only way to stop Jehovah from killing you is to become a Jehovah’s Witness before Armageddon. Your parents are likely depressed, repressed or have anger issues due to the fact that they’ve been holding back their real talents and never studied or pursued things they were genuinely interested in. Hobbies are OK, but unless they benefit the Watchtower society in any way they’re regarded as “useless pursuits”. You know full well from an early age that you’ll never go to university. The Watchtower society teaches that university is dangerous and causes people to think critically - something the religion doesn't want its members to do. I mean, why would you want to go to university and improve your mind when you could peddle magazines doors to door FOR FREE and work building Kingdom Halls FOR FREE so that years later the Watchtower society can sell them for a profit? Of course you and your old congregation won’t see a penny of that money, it’ll be used to settle child molestation charges out of court. In fact, one of the leaders, Gerrit Losch, claims that going to university is like shooting yourself in the head. You’re taught that all non Jehovah’s Witnesses are bad, evil and not to be trusted. That only Jehovah’s Witnesses are capable of real love and that if you ever leave the religion all Jehovah’s Witnesses will shun you. You’re taught that Jehovah’s Witnesses are your real family and you must be loyal to the organization because it’s impossible to worship god without it. You develop a hatred and mistrust of the outside world and you have black and white thinking which you don't even realize you have. (Check out answers by active Jehovah’s Witnesses on here to see what I mean). You’re commanded not to watch or read any negative news report about Jehovah’s Witnesses or to read anything that says the Jehovah’s Witnesses are wrong. You should preach to others but if they try to tell you about their religion you’re to leave immediately. You occasionally hear about a pedophile problem or child molestation payouts in courtsbut you’re assured that these are “apostate driven lies” - even if the Watchtower society has made many out of court payouts to the “so called” victims - pay no attention, it’s a “test from Satan”. So, in short, it’s like living in a bubble. You don’t actually know the real world or understand it. You likely come across as odd to non-members and if/when you leave the religion you find yourself not prepared mentally to cope with it - hence why a few (33%) return after leaving. Kobojunkie:Atheism is what happens when you read the Bible. |
Kobojunkie:I know and understand Bible and it's bizzare origins pass you. oga let's not go there. |
DappaD:No all your ideas so far are warped and circulated around your weird cult (JW). Use your Bible to prove that Christianity is the only true religion out of 4000+ religions. |
Kobojunkie:Religion is what happens when someone reads the Bible for you. |
DappaD:Shush Kid, Bloodless Medicine is not here and until it's here and a proven alternative to blood transfusion, we have to work with what has been proven time and time again to work and not listen to what your fictional Jehovah says about it. Keep your cultish ideas to yourself. Kids have fucking died because they were refused blood transfusion. You are a very cruel person for saying people die needlessly everyday. The death of these people was easy to prevent, but nah, your fictional Jehovah and the leader of your cult, Nathan Knorr says it's wrong even though science says there is nothing wrong with it. You’re allowed to believe in a god. You’re allowed to believe unicorns live in your shoes for all I care. But the day you start telling me how to wear my shoes so I don’t upset the unicorns, I have a problem with you. The day you start involving the unicorns in making decisions for this country, I have a BIG problem with you. |
Kobojunkie:Says the guy who only reads his Bible on a Sunday at the church during the sermon. Try again lol |
DappaD:You claimed that God has been resting for 4000 years. So do the math. ![]() |
DappaD: Let me guess, you will use the Bible to disprove evolution and also disprove the round earth and dark energy ![]() |
DappaD:Blood transfusion is not safe...yea that's why it has saved lives and young people who were in desperate need for blood transfusion, died because their parent's were Jehovah's Witnesses. You are a part of a cult within a larger cult (Christianity) bud. |
Dtruthspeaker:Read the original post. |
Dtruthspeaker:Baba answer the question If you don't know, just say so. |
Kobojunkie:So what about planets, brown dwarfs and others. You really need to get an astronomy class. |
DappaD: DappaD:And also Hebrews 4:1-5 was talking about how a believer can enter into god's rest. So it's out of touch mister. |
DappaD:And also Hebrews 4:1-5 was talking about how a believer can enter into god's rest. So it's out of touch mister. |
DappaD:Oga earth is more that 4Billion years old. So He has been resting for billions of years huh ![]() |
DappaD:So you admit that God makes mistakes. ![]() |
Dtruthspeaker:;DSo Christ came in the form of earth like species and we should not question what will happen to species beyond earth. Lol it's strange that your moniker is Dtruthspeaker. Cuz all you have been typing are lies, misconceptions. No one is asking you not to follow your middle eastern god. I am asking you to answer the question. Or you can ask your pastor, since He knows all as he is god's deputy and mouthpiece ![]() |
DappaD:If you are not a cult, explain why you are so against blood transfusion ![]() |
DappaD:No explain why even God was in on it, if He supposedly6 knows all. |
Kobojunkie: where did the Bible mention that Kobojunkie |
Dtruthspeaker:Oga answer the questions and stop dodging. You can't answer because your Religious book was written by men who believe an all knowing, all seeing being lived in the sky. These men did not even understand the world they evolved on, genetics or even the concept of space. ----Genesis 11:1–9. |
Kobojunkie:Other planets, brown dwarfs, stars, cosmic dust... Jeez read a book. |
DappaD:That doesn't explain Genesis 30:37-39 sorry |
DappaD:You know, if you are trying to defend something with something, at least don't do it with a book written by the Christian cultish group, The Jehovah's Witness. |
Dtruthspeaker:I'll look into that. |
Question that will stump religious people because it's not in their 6000 year old mythical book. 1. Do alien species have souls ![]() 2. Did "Jesus" die for them too ![]() 3. What if alien species have their own religion, will you abandon yours? ![]() 4. Are they under Adam's sin ![]() 5. When "rapture" happens, what will happen to them? ![]() 6. When they die, where will they go, Heaven or Hell ![]() |
Dtruthspeaker:You know the best part of being religious is that you have to pretend that the overwhelming evidence for the existence of Dinosaurs are fake because it was not mentioned in your book. ![]() |
DappaD:Alright, so if God rested on the last day, that means He is still resting and have not created any more things since then. But out there in space, planets are still forming and stars are still forming. So this god thing, has she rested or not? |
DappaD: Young man, they did not understand genetics plain and simple, that's why Jacob displayed his (and God's) knowledge of biology/genetics by claiming that having goats copulate while looking at streaked rods, The result will be streaked baby goats. Genesis 30:37-39Science on the other hand knows that streaked goats are a genetic mutation, not as a result of the parents looking at streaked rods during copulation. :DYou don't even know your Bible. Try again. |
Dangerousboy:Becayse He is nothing but a fraud. All Nigerian pastors are Liars fraudsters. |

Try again lol
