Nwoke, read my post again. I don't need anything from you. What im saying is that no one will do anything with out something given unto them first. They will not do nothing unless they receive some type of compensation from someone. Tell me how many charities, Nigerian established, are there? Not as much as there could be. But who wants to give to someone without receiving from them first.
hahahahaha, dont worry, it will surprise you that there are so many nigerians that are dying to see a better nation, many that cant wait to see all the old maggots out of the office, so i will remind you after the first rule of engagement.

Who is "we"? I aint fighting for nothing in the physical sense. Will give back and help out as i can, of course. But if you think im daft enough to enlist in the army, you got to be out yo mind. Oh puhleez don't talk to me about money. I be seeing folk swanging in their SUVs on the rode in Nigeria. So i know those folk got some money on em'. But aint willing to give it up.
U dont have to be enlisted, not all will physically support the fight, some will support emotionally or even finacially, so u cld chose other areas.

The kind of Nigeria painted by the poster is VERY, VERY achievable. with the right leaders, And it is possible in my life time, Our problem is 'wrong people in government'. Just a while a go we were watching how the US government is preparing her people for 'Hurricane Ike', etc. It's amazing to see such a natural disaster befall a nation and to see how they recover from it in no time and move on, Power is restored, roads are reconstructed, schools are reopened, etc. IF this were to happen here, we don't have natural distaters BUT we have 'human disasters' - human being that are worse tha 10 hurricane ike put together, we have political disasters, systemic disasters, all these will not allow us to see the kind of Nigeria painted above,
u are very right and we will achieve it.

Nwa please, you don't know what i know so don't even try and dictate that. You are just bringing yourself down. Don't even try and throw words in my mouth. Oya now, go and quote me where i said I did not care about Nigeria. Biko, go and show me.
Scroll up and down and go to other threads and tell me where it shows ur concern for the nation.
NYSCRe: How Relevant Is National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) In This Dispensation? by ssRhino: 7:05pm On Sep 12, 2008
I think this will be one of the best thread i will see on this forum.
I have thought about the usefulness of the service thing as well and i see None, and to make matter worse, i heard, u cant even run for office in Nigeria if you dont serve Nigeria in the "Now Your Suffering Continue" program, something where they are paid almost nothing, subject to something that will add no value to their lifes, where someone that just had a degree in Engineering is made to teach elementary school in English?
Na wa for Nigeria sha, if they wanna make them serve Nija for real, why not register them all in Ecomog?
But i am sure that soon, things will change.

Spoken like a true Nigerian Patriot. Always willing to die for their country in talk, but when time to enlist, watch em run as if plague has entered town. All this jive you spittin don't me shid. Cuz you ain't ready to die for Nigeria, nor is anyone else. Shoot, folk won't even give money to their country, then talk about dying for it.
They aint giving the money, cos they dont have it, but they have the life and they cld lay it down.
many Nigerians are already walking dead bodies anyways, and trust i do understand where you coming from, but we need a better nigeria and we cant sit and expect it to happen, we gotta fight for it.

LMAO!!! You talk as if you are ready to go to war with a stone in one hand and slingshot in the other. And believe you will achieve anything. Wake up and face reality, it is going to take A LOT more than hollering and praying to help Nigeria. It is going to take sacrifice, compromise, war and blood of man to see any change in this forsaken country.
no need for any slingshot and stones, the time of golliat is passed, we will fight this with guns and real rocket lunchers.
Yes, i am willing and ready for such war, and blood will be shed, but at the end of it all, it would have worth all the scarifice, cos we would have had a Nigeria that my children and yours would wanna go and visit, or even lived in.
PoliticsRe: My Plans For Niger Delta--yaradua by ssRhino: 6:46pm On Sep 12, 2008
Since someone has mentioned that Ekiti is messed up, i do suggest that we give Ekiti a special Ministry and shall be called Ministry of Ekiti State

If Ibori, Balogun, Bode George etc are not guinea pig enough for us, what makes you think the PHCN manager will make a difference?
since we wanna make changes from the grass roots and we wanna start over again and make managers know that theya re to manage and not to sell what they ought to manage.
soon, pple like ibori will be dealt with when the youths take over

So now any area that feel neglected wil get a ministry.
What a direction the guy has gone, and the money meant to be used for the area will be used by some directors, ministers and stuff.

PoliticsRe: When Did Corruption Start In Nigeria? by ssRhino: 6:00pm On Sep 12, 2008
i am so sure that when we were trying to get independence from Brittain, we much have paid some bribes and we know what follows, corruption.
When Abiola got money from ITT, isnt that part of Corruption?
When Obasanjo started Operation Feed The Nation and later turns to Obasanjo Farm, isnt that corruption?

Infact Nija, i hail thee

they are both useful in caring for the baby. it could be rotated between two of them fof two months interval
Isnt that kinda funny, one lil' child for 3 pple to be rotating on who will take care of the child.
The mother of the mother.
The mother of the father.
The Mother herself

Na wa oh and when the kids is grown, none of them will be willing to pay for anything, they will all send the pikin to him papa.

When it comes to having these in Nigeria, you need to use your imagination. Are we not speaking of the very same Nigeria that has not discovered the wonderful miracle one can work with a common fly swat? LOL

That, to me, is an ingenious invention but many in Nigeria continue to live with flies. ROFLMAO!!
we will make sure you lead that aspect, since yu have an idea on how it works, cos we need a govt that gives everyone a chance, based on what they know and how theya re good at it, and not cos of who they know

We shdnt be waiting for them to retire, cos some of them has ate with the devil and the devil will make sure they dont die soon enuf, so we have to look for a way to force them into retirement of 7 feet.

Do I really need to imagine it? It's not the work of miracle to have such a condition but very possible with vision, plan, harwork and respect toward public coffers but in Nigeria those words are as good as a mirage, so don't hold your breath.
U will be surprised, cos it will happen, Nigeria will change and all will work well, and I pray it happen in your lifetime, so that yuo will know that it is possible.

opuro:
A NIGERIA WHERE BIG MEN GO DE PAY THEIR NEPA PHCN BILL

DEM GO DE QUE FOR THEIR TURN
There will still be no need for big men to queue, cos they will have pple that work for them, however, a man will not be judged by the size of his pocket, but by what they know and how they have made changes around them.

People lets be realistic here! From when i can remember things have just gone from bad to worse and it doesn't look like it will get any better and i live here in Najia.
You ask us to be optimistic and i ask what for?
Many pay taxes but the rich feed on it.
You say we should vote and i ask you if it won't be rigged to put the high n mighty in power.
We pay bills even when we don't see the light or water yet the system hasn't improved.
Teachers shouted and went on a long strike but who suffered? the masses of course! and the lawmakers increased their own salary.
As long as 'the old boys' still rule Abuja that dream will NEVER come to reality, that is the reality on ground whether we like it or not.We can dream and hope only God can make Naija better, but dreamland sure looks good!
WE will realize that dream in Nigeria, but no one ever said it will be easy, but there has to be a starting point, there has to be a day when we all say to the old big fools, that enuf is enuf, we have given them chance to rule and they never did, all they did was steal all the money and leave empty accounts, so it is time for the youth to take over.

lola4jesus:
Rhino i agreed with u that would be better those nuisance of our leader
should be flush out.
with reall mobilization, they cld be flushed out, if we start from Ekiti state and arrest all the governors there and maybe start punishing them one by one, since a guy from ekiti said, the place is useless, we cld use it as a ginea pig(joke) but we need to just do something
