Tpia or Tipia Your reply above is poor attempt in been logical. I sent you a link on the specific kidnappig of igbos in Owo and you posted an answer that does not in anyway address the question. I wu Ewu? Why can't you Yorubas for once accept that the biggest terrorists are not even from the Niger-delta regionbut fro yorubaland. Why do you kidnapp non-indigenes? I guess you people are the decendeants of arch-tribalist, Obafemi Awolow. Call me paranoid or para-normal i don't care. That is what Chief Ikemba Nnewi was called and today he is vindicated. WE are living in useless country called Nigeria.

I can see yu have concluded that Nigeria is plagued with Yorubas and that theya re the source of problems.
Good for u

You shouldn't be dissappointed, instead, you should go ahead and name one clean entity in Nigeria today that matches IBB's stamina and also has the capabilities to restore things back to normal quickly and accurately.

Ribadu?

Does it have to always be any of all those fools?
Why cant we have a grassroot nominations and let pple decide who will rule them, instead of all these names that has been for as long as Nigeria has been.

Family / Re: House Maintenance Without Househelps,is It Achievable! by ssRhino: 3:29pm On Sep 16, 2008
It is very and easily achiveable, but might be very tough to get in Nigeria, why?
Most Nigerian men in Nigeria just come from work, change, shower and watch TV while Dinner is being server, and aftewards, he do nothing else.
Most Nigerian woman in Nigeria are busy with parties almost every weekend and they need someone to look after the kids, and thanks to the all year round summer.
Compared to Abroad, where while the woman is cooking, the man is doing the dishes and in the morning, while the man is getting ready the boy, the woman is getting ready the baby girl, so the work is shared.
Most family, the man and the woman works.
Now in Nigeria most women work too, if not harder than the man sef.
And for a nation where the unemployment rate is so high, it is good for employing the youths

why are you so afraid of knowing the identities of the kidnappers?

and you are lying through your teeth here. Nigerians consider names very important. People's origins can be traced through their names, and even if someone changes their name to reflect their current residence, they can still be traced through their grandparents or actual family names.

You must be out of touch with Nigera, like so many others who spout nonsense everywhere on this site.

Who is talking of passport? Are the kidnappers travelling overseas?

The Oba of Owo has intervened in this case (thats more than can be said for some other parts of Nigeria). He and other Owo indigenes will be able to tell who exactly these kidnappers are, once they're located and brought to book.

However, don't let me stop you from throwing your pity party and feeling sorry for yourself.

U getting it all wrong dude, pls tell me how they will determine the names of the kidnappers?

this is the sad part of the story, how would the children be taken care of when baba dies

The children will be turned over to the Children Aids that doesnt exist.
I am sure the children will be forced to look after themselves and become beggers on the street, that is how lunatic some pple cld be without knowing it, cos i wonder what he wanna proof by having so much kids.

First, Long life Yar'Adua.

I hope Nigeria see this soon: IBB is the right man for this job.

The man has a lot to lose if he isn't successful this time around.
IBB is not OBJ; this man knows what is missing, what needs to be done, and how it should be done accurately. He would motivate others to vigorously contribute towards the elevation of Nigeria back to the top.
Trust me, the Governors and others government officials would be more focused if IBB takes over this country.
At this critical moment, this country can not be ruled by just anybody; you simply need much more than leadership skill to rule this nation.

As many have claimed in the past that "IBB destroyed this country", so, why not allow the destroyer himself to also put it back together? Do you think someone else knows and understands what went wrong other than IBB himself?

IBB remains one of the most competent leaders in Nigeria today; so, why not allow this man to display his abilities?

It is for sure that the man and his entire family are financially set for the next 100 years, the man can not be touched, and indirectly the man is still actively involved politically; therefore, who is fooling who? who is the loser? what do we have to lose?

I think at this point, we (Nigerians) have nothing to lose. I say "bring him back", let him clean it up.

I am so disppointed that anyone cld come and talk about how IBB has been and cld be the best leader that Nigeria cld ever have, pls, i would like to see reasons why yu think such.
Please dont forget that in Democracy, the president cant make any governor to sit up or be focused, they are the administrator of their states and the rpesident cant do much to them, they cld frustrate their vission with funds oh, and that is all, but nothing much.
Please, tell me what makes u think that IBB cld do anything, i will first advice him to return all the money he looted while in power, cos that will show to me that he is seriously thinking of making ammendments.
Politics / Re: Should Nigeria Be Divided? by ssRhino: 3:04pm On Sep 16, 2008
It makes me laff when the pple that are asking for war and the liberation of Biafra, they actually think they have all it takes to fight a war and these are same pple that will be scared at the shot of a bullet.
Pple tends to forget that war is no respecter of anyone, and that the pple they care most will be the first to die, cos most are defenceless, and pls always remember that when there is a way, the first to die are always mothers and father and the children, cos they cant fight neither cld they run, so guys, be sure of what you ask for, there are more to lose rather than to gain, but if all uses such energy to rid Nigeria of the leaders that has plagued her, we will surely win.

* A nigeria with reduced or without corrupt leaders, armrobbers and no Malaria!

Nice to wait however, there are some waiting that cld be till the end of the world.
Malaria cld be reduced by the citizen and not necessarily the govt, and we cant blame the govt for malaria, blame the pple, govt never told pple to let the useless tire be on the street and breeding mosquitoes, and was it the govt that will come to ur backyard to make sure it is clean and not infested with mosquitoes.
They can only help after pple have been bitten and are sick with malaria.

from original article:

@ bolded: I agree. Its not normal for a Yoruba town. Its not like there's political unrest or stuff of that nature.

and I repeat- there's something weird about the whole thing.

They should reveal the names of the kidnappers, so people can know who they are.

I hope they've been arrested by the police?

Now i am so disappointed in you, you actually asking for the name of the kidnapper, in a nation where a name means nothing nor worth more than the paper and the identification that thy appeared on, a nation where anyone cld bear any name, and there names cld change daily and you can even get a national passport to support it.
Leave that one alone, and mind you there is no database of real names in the nation.

So you arent aware Owo has a very large number of people from other parts of Nigeria who live and do business there? I checked with a friend who confirmed this emphatically. Go and ask about the non-Yoruba population of Owo.

Owo also has ties to Benin, from antiquity, as anyone can see from the location and also from the ancient Owo/Benin art on display at many museums abroad.

Please do your homework properly before rushing to unfounded allegations. And yes, you are very paranoid. If you consider your state of mind as being normal then that in itself is a scary thought., and I hope people are safe around you.

No, paranoid is not a compliment. Its a condition that needs urgent and strict management, because it will turn to a more serious incurable problem eventually.
Thank you for all the information, so sad that when pple are making fact as the one you have made, you will be labelled as owo touts, sad, isnt?
I think instead of worrying abt what tribe is kidnapping what tribe, i think it is better to look for way out of this and find a lasting solution and stop all the finger pointing.

This is an old news now, and i am yet to see a leader in Nigeria that would be able to put aside his selfish gains and power ambition beside, to put the interest of the nation at heart, i will be amazed to see Yar Adua to be the first and i will forever hail him, cos it is obvious that the man is surely not strong enuf to lead at present.

A new pastor was visiting the homes of his congregation. At one house it seemed obvious that someone was at home, but no answer came to his repeated knocks at the door. Therefore, he took out a card and wrote "Revelation 3:20" on the back of it and stuck it in the door. When the offering was processed the following Sunday, he found that his card had been returned.Added to it was this cryptic message, "Genesis 3:10." Reaching for his Bible to check out the citation, he broke up in gales of laughter.

Revelation 3:20 begins "Behold, I stand at the door and knock." Genesis 3:10 reads, "I heard your voice in the garden and I was afraid for I was naked." "A cheerful heart is good medicine" (Prov 17:22a) Have a good week and make someones' day.

You get my 100% affirmation on your post. The igbos are the only courageous people to fight for their right and injustice, other ethnic groups are too cowardly especially the yorubas. Did you notice that these people attacking you viciously (yemmyse, bawomolo, bilymuse and Arnold10) where no where to be found when useless Mpele and RSa were insulting Nigeria and Nigerians? They could not even reply him. But these same people when they "igbo" they suddenly feel very hard pressed not to attack us. This what outsiders are seeing. To all of you (yemmyse, bawomolo, bilymuse, Arnold10 and others) who ran away when Mpele and co. were attacking Nigeria i say SHAME ON YOU!

Who was the first person to respond to the psychopath called Mpele? I responded vehemently until i realised that the guy was just a low IQ punk that deserved no response. Believe me i don't take it lightly when anyone, especially a foreigner tries to put down my tribe, my nation or my person. You could ask Mpele and detruth. But u ll never catch me putting down another person's tribe or nation, it is debasing (if that usage is allowed).

This forum shdnt be abt who responded first or last and who insulted who, it is a forum where we all share ideas and learn from one another.
And i think all the tribal bashing needs to stop, bashing other tribes is a sign of lunacy and trying to further divide Nigeria.
We Nigerians makes noise about some SA messing with nigeria and yet we nigerians run it down too, so what is the big deal, being analytical sometimes makes pple to run stuff down and say bad abt it

It would be great to conceive such a thought. If this has to be posible, we have to re-orientate our minds first, as
