Simplyleo: Pls, always be specific about South.
Internet fraud has not brought any progress to the SW.
May be you actually meant those places where money is so worshipped that children whose parents are not rich usually wake their parents with kicks.
In addition, pls collecting money from drivers on the road by sars does not take the wealth of SW. Perhaps you meant SE.
In general, i think the only place in the whole world where this your explanation will make a lot of sense is radio biafra. Even your politicians avoid all Northern highways Village heads are picked up regularly You people live in self deceit |

saheedbadmus: Am not in total support of this end SARS.. I believe reforming it is better cos Their demise will cause more harm than good (thieves, kidnapers etc would be happy) .. Also if the NPF end SARS ,remember another Intelligent Department would be created by th NPF and na this same bad eggs officer go full am and continue with their bad behaviors. ... I expect people to bash and abuse me but this is my opinion and we are all free to air our opinions rather than attacking /being abusive.. When Fela was protesting police brutality, I can imagine our fathers called him a weed smoker, Bros if u don't do it, your children would do, but that has always been the problem of black people, we can't seem to be able to forsee the future or plan for the next generation |

nku5: The SE does not have leaders. What have is a brow beaten post-civil war political class of Igbo extraction are generally worthless animals except for one or two like Senator Abaribe. Its that leadership vacuum that has made Nnamdi Kanu some sort of demi-god and rallying point. My brother, that is the sad story of the negro race

Politics › Re: No End Sars Protest In South East A Sign We Have No Hope In Nigeria Anymore by StaffofOrayan(m): 12:22pm On Oct 10, 2020 |
nku5: SARS protest cannot fly in the SE because we have been suffering police brutality for decades and now we are used to it. The rest of the country started feeling it just few years ago. I remember years ago when they found 35 dead bodies of young men floating in Ezu river in Anambra state. They were killed by SARS and the rest of the country barely blinked. Those who spoke about it mocked the dead and said they were MASSOB members.
It was the same thing when the whole country was doing subsidy protests in 2012 and the SE didn't care because fuel had been selling for double the cost in the rest of the country. Nigerians leaders are useless, but SE leaders seem to the most uncaring bastards in the world, they just allow people get killed and never utter a single word, but you never seem to be able to blame them or call them out |

Politics › Re: Another Recession Looms With ‘adverse Consequences’ – Buhari by StaffofOrayan(m): 10:15pm On Oct 08, 2020 |
Ehiscotch: True. I do not disagree that there has long been herder-farmer clashes all over the country right from time; and I also agree that the government should do more to address the issue but are we going to overlook the strides the government has taken in agriculture?
Don't you know the basic concept of economics? We do not have enough forex to give to importers of basic consumption in which we have the capacity to produce, who does that?
How do you open borders for every kind of good to penetrate the market and shortchange your farmers?
How do people get motivated to go back to agriculture when the cannot meet up to the market prices?
You guys don't actually have any single economic knowledge but you would be filling Nairaland with nonsense, crude and backward knowledge.
How can we get to the status of a developing nation when we import all we consume?
It defies even the most basic and crude concept of economic development. You would soon protest, leave all these story |
Politics › Re: Another Recession Looms With ‘adverse Consequences’ – Buhari by StaffofOrayan(m): 7:44pm On Oct 08, 2020 |
Ehiscotch: Why the anger? Did you expect Nigeria to survive the impact of both low oil prices and the adverse effects of Covid-19?
If we had had self sufficiency in agriculture, people won't be hungry and wailing but we won't get there in a hurry, these things take time.
We all have our grievances but let's be guided and desist from making uncouth and petty statements. Sharap Ebonyi farmers like their counterparts up north are having their crops destroyed by herdsmen, what self sufficiency are you dreaming about? The famine coming would make you protest opening borders soon, Abi no be Buhari? Even Northerners pushed him out in 84 |

pquaver: You answer lies in Aba Roads. .. Is aboki the governor of Abia since 1999? I don't know why u guys think restructuring is automatic success.. Knowing Nigerian. I tell u restructuring or biafra will no bring that fantasy country you dream off.. Every politician in Nigeria knows this is the answer, but it's always easier and more lucrative for them to continue in the old way, (that's why they campaign with it!) If they fool you, at least don't fool yourself! |
