tommykiwi:
In the aftermath of the Peoples Democratic Party’s states, local government and ward congresses, member representing Okitipupa/Irele federal constituency of Ondo State, Hon. Mike Adeniyi Omogbehin is optimistic that with the relative peace within the party in the course of the Congresses, coupled with the irredeemable mistakes on the part of government of the day, it’s certain that the PDP will return to power in 2019.

In an exclusive interview with DAILY POST in Abuja, Omogbehin said that election of officers of the party at various levels are manifestations that the party had learnt from its past mistakes and now ready to return to power.

“I refuse to be a gullible politician and you know that there was peace on the course of election of executives of the party, there was no imposition of candidates even as every politician wants his own person in place; so PDP has done wonderfully now,” he said.Omogbehin, however, denied that there is any intra-party squabble with regards to the National Chairman of the party, stressing that it was appropriate that the North East completes their tenure.

He also explained that it will not be lopsided if the party decides to zone its Presidential candidate to the North alongside the National Chairman, noting that what obtains in the party constitution was the Chairman to relinquish his appointment.

“Concerning the zoning of National Chairman of PDP to the North East, it is appropriate that the zone completed its tenure and it is no threat that Presidential candidate is zoned to the North, because there is a provision for the National Chairman to resign from office in the party’s Constitution,” he maintained.

The federal lawmaker emphasized that Nigerians were taking stock of Buhari’s missteps in governance, acknowledging that Nigerians were not only experiencing pains, but were disappointed and that as a party that was in Power before, the PDP will strategise to offer Nigerians the best of services this time.

Politics › Re: Be A Unifier Not A Divider, Dialogue With SS&SE- Sheik Gumi Advises Buhari by Stalwert: 7:13pm On May 15, 2016
Sheik got it wrong, every component part of the country is represented in the cabinet so no state nor region is excluded from governace. Secondly dialogue with militants criminals is only promoting criminality in the country. the dialogue has never made the lives of the ND any more better than it use to be because it doesn't address the root problems face by the majority of SS people. PMB owes the people development not some stewpid silly militants who are cursed thieves and only want to line their pockets.

Politics › Re: Why FG Must Sit Down With Niger Delta Avengers by Stalwert: 7:14am On May 15, 2016
PMB has no need sitting with criminals all he needs to do is address developmental challenges the ND is facing which he has began doing by the building a train route that links all states of the ND together. The era of criminals being elevated is over now govt focus is on making everyone happy rather than line the pockets of a few who keep stealing despite being paid.

This osibanjo is the worst fool of a vice president ever come to my memory...

Someone help me ask the fool why government should shy away from their responsibility.

Why can't the government endure by subsidizing our fuel until when we attain the said sufficiency by 2018.

Why will it have to be the masses that will do the enduring, what now is the responsibility of the government if they keep running away from their misgivings and problems.

The government should know that this subsidy removal came at a very wrong time when we are having crisis oon our foreign exchange...

This government is a flop, a joke and a scam...
I despise this government for despising on me first...

Zombies can go ahead and quote me, some of you will have to cough out the said money from your asses to buy the said fuel. Beautiful nonsense

If the advice is not acted upon what can the AGF do?
Are there not instances where the advice given by the AGF was not acted upon for several reasons?
Finally, prosecution is not JUDGEMENT which leads to conviction and imprisonment that is enforcement of the law, okay.
So what was point when I simply stated the AGF enforces the law and can make directives that lead to the arrest and prosecution of legislators? Stop making argument for the sake of argument only to agree on the first point being made!

Meaning he can not JUDGE anyone, right?
Meaning he also can not DETAIN and/or IMPRISON anyone, right?
He can only advice, basically and that is not enforcement.
Advice that will be acted upon is what to you? Directing the prosecution of criminals means what to you?

[s]AGF is a member of the Federal Executive Council so he has no right over the legislators[/s]
Ignorance!!!
The AGF is charged with enforcing the law, in fact if the Senate President slaps you, you can simply get the police to arrest him and prosecute him for assault, If lawyers and Judges can be prosecuted for offenses they commit then being a legislator does not insulate you from the law.

Market PRICE is more powerful than propaganda. The cost of shipping Tomatoes from Katsina to Lagos will determine retail price, when other prices are escalating because of Buhari's personal desire to CONTROL & COMMAND every Nigerian like a battalion commander.
The masses on the street will chase Buhari out of Nigeria if he doesn't CHANGE his medieval mindset.

Buhari can probe the world for all we care, he is not a man of integrity.
A liar can do anything.., I mean negatively.

All these probes other than NIMASA, are all geared towards PDP's source of funds at the last general elections.
1yr down, you can pin down the irregularities Minister of Petroluem did in office, neither other ministers.

It only shows me that GEJ wasn't bad afterall. It was desperation to remain in office, that led to some persons taking advantage of him, to divert and misuse state funds.

Zombies quote and tell me one single thing Deziani did wrong in office?
Just 1.

We keep talking probe probe... When key economic determinants are left to suffer. Economy is nothing to write home about, the poor are suffering, villages are battling extinction instead of us being concerned with this problems, we are busy running after wild goose money.
Light we no get after 1year tenure in office.
All we hear from the ministers na English,
Age of Mythology solutions to Jet-age issues.

Buhari doesn't have a vision, all he is after is recovering stolen money.
I know Nigeria must be paying for the sins the whole of Africa committed
[/s]

Another tragic example of the Mordern day Nigerian yoot. In capable of reasoning issues well and always drawing up the wrong conclusions. They defend corruption with so much favor that you will almost think they are defending their projects alas they are labouring in vain to defend stealing they never partook in. what a disgrace what a tragedy what an abomination.
