[s] MayorofLagos: Buhari has lost it!
Matawalle should be emulating SW Governors, stop paying amnesty to criminals. Stop bribing rapists, murderers and kidnappers to stop crime. Exercise law. We have law, enforce law on criminals.
Malami is a native of Zamfara. Why, as the Minister of Justice, has he not directed Matawalle to stop abetting crime or face full enforcement of law by security forces?
....but he is threatening legal and lawful Amotekun with security forces.
Matawalle should copy other governors and stop aiding crime in Zamfara. [/s] Emotional response is always devoid of reason. He is obviously referring to states plagued by banditry, and the Zamfara Governor took decisive action including deposing a royal father etc. |

Politics › Re: Buhari Didn't Promise To Hand Over To Tinubu- NIWA Chairman by Stalwert: 7:43pm On Jan 25, 2020 |
[s] Omooba77: Former national secretary of the All Progressives Congress and Chairman, Nigeria Inland Waterways Authority, George Muoghalu, has said that the president, Major General Muhammadu Buahri ( retd.), did not promise to hand over power to a former governor of Lagos State, Bola Tinubu.
Muoghalu, who spoke to journalists in Imo State on Saturday, said that the chances of the Igbo succeeding Buahri were now brighter.
He, however, said that the ruling party needed to capture more South-East states.
Muoghalu said that the president had been fair to the South East zone.
He, however, said that the Igbo needed more dividends of democracy from Buhari that was why they accused him of marginalising the zone.
The ex-APC national secretary said that the ruling party would win Anambra State in 2021 with a quality candidate it would present for the governorship election.
The NIWA Chairman said that with the APC taking over Imo State, the ruling party was penetrating the grassroots in the South East zone.
He said that he was satisfied with the reconciliation approach the party had adopted in the disputes in the Imo State chapter of the APC.
"Who told you that the president promised to hand over power to Tinubu. There was nothing like that, people should stop speculating.
"I am optimistic that the APC has brighter chances of producing the president in 2023 but we need to win more states. With a quality candidate, APC will win Anambra in 2023. The president is doing a lot of good things in the South East but like Oliver Twist, our people want more from the federal government," he said.

[s] Dpharisee: What will Tinubu do now, it seems the North is not ready to keep to the unwritten gentlemen agreement for power rotation with the South. This is the reason it's difficult to trust a Fulani man with power and the reason behind their fight against Amotekun, they want to be in control of every aspect of our security and use it to dominate. America is as strong as Somalia without its military and weapons under their control which can be deployed against those whom they think are against their interest, same way Python Dance can be used to crush any part of Nigeria that disagrees with them.
I wish to commend the SE for putting aside their demand for 2023 presidency to support Amotekun, the level of intermarriage between Yoruba and Igbo means that they should be concerned about each other's security for the sake of their children, Uncles, cousins etc across the divide. [/s] When the South did the same under GEJ where were you? |

Firefox01: Audio governor has no choice. The IGP will simply order the CP to send police offers to escort the elected LG officers back to the council.
The sweetest thing is that as a result of NFIU, caretaker chairmen have no accessories to LG funds. They've been borrowing to sustain themselves. Imagine after borrowing then realising that such borrowed funds was on their own accord and not on behalf of the LG. As far as the Law is concerned they are illegally occupying a position and merely impersonating the real LG chairmen. |
