your mum putting palm oil in your ear is very wrong. Mine I couldn’t hear well with one ear with very serious pains. I applied ear drop first (apply on both ears) , take 1 tablet of ampliclox morning and night , them apply the hydrogen peroxide once daily to clean up the wax. Note when you put in the hydrogen peroxide keep your ear in a position for about 5 minutes so the liquid won’t pour out, Wipe after. You’ll be fine

Go to any pharmacy and buy hydrogen peroxide , put the liquid in your ear and leave in the position for about 5 minutes before letting the liquid out. You’ll be fine had similar experience.
