NeekolazWorld:
What happened to Adeleke is what might still happen here. Even if the Tribunal declear Atiku as will, they will still go to Appeal court and then to Supreme Court. It will be hard to remove an already sitting president especially when they have bought over most of the judiciary and legislature.
Atiku is not Adeleke, if Atiku by mistake win at the tribunal, the Supreme will be too hot for Tanko to manipulate, it is then you will know that 95% of the judges were appointed by PDP administration, let me tell you Alanikpekun of a man can even be bribe to mess up, are you aware

PoliticsRe: PDP, Useni Tell Court To Disqualify Lalong For Presenting Fake Certificate by stanleyravos: 8:26pm On Jun 14, 2019
The question uzokome should ask them is very simple, if he did change of name, if the answer is yes, where is the news paper publication, if yes, which of the national daily, the date and the page, that is my submission. Then to the Apc lawyer who is saying he used the same names first term without problems, that doesn't mean is right in the eye of the law
PoliticsRe: PDP, Useni Tell Court To Disqualify Lalong For Presenting Fake Certificate by stanleyravos: 8:17pm On Jun 14, 2019
main opposition Peoples Democratic Party in Plateau State and its gubernatorial candidate in the 2019 elections, Senator Jeremiah Useni on Friday asked the Governorship Tribunal to declare Simon Lalong unqualified to contest the election he was adjudged winner. According to PDP and its candidate, in processes filed at the Tribunal sitting in Jos, Lalong was ineligible to assume the position of Governor, having submitted a different certificate to the electoral umpire (INEC) bearing different name to that of the present Governor of Plateau State, Simon Bako Lalong. Read Also New Millionaires Emerge as TECNO Nigeria Holds Light Up Your Dream 3 The name in contention is “Simon Sule Bako” instead of Simon Bako Lalong, which the governor is officially known. The petitioners through their Counsel, Mike Ozekhome (SAN), argued that if it is discovered that the governor did not qualify to contest the election, then the tribunal would have no need to enter further hearing on the main petitions, which they filed against the governor and the All Progressives Congress regarding the polls. Ozekhome urged the Tribunal, which is currently conducting pre-trial to rule on the matter before commencing hearing on the main petitions. Read Also Obasanjo narrates his experience in the Ethiopian Airline aircraft that had difficulties with landing But Counsel to the APC, Garba Pwul (SAN) in his reply faulted PDP and Useni’s petition. Pwul argued that it is a pre-election matter which should not be entertained by the Tribunal and that the same name was used by the Governor during his first term without any problem. However, Chairman of the three-man Tribunal, Justice Halima Salman said ruling on the matter will be delivered during the final judgement. Meantime, the Tribunal said it has concluded pre-hearing session on Governorship petitions and will commence hearing on the main petitions on 26th June, 2019

The judiciary has become lawless that is why I don't blame Buhari for disrespecting some of their judgements. Why should an FCT court make this illegal order far away from Bauchi when there is an election petition tribunal set up for these things? Should an FCT high court even dabble into any matter outside its jurisdiction(FCT) at all? The NJC should sit up. This lawlessness of the judiciary is getting out of control.
what did you know about jurisdiction, leave the judges alone and focus on how you people can remove oshiomhole instead disturbing the cyber space.

We all have different Moral compas, and what is Honourable to me , might be Dishonourable to you and thats why we have the Law as the common ground. Justice Atinuke Ige presided over many cases in which her husband was the lawyer to the defendant, and many of such cases were lost by her husband... she even scolded her husband in court and at times threaten him to lock him up for contempt of court whenever he was unruly.

The PDP legal team knows how to Aproach the registrar of the Judiaciary if they have enough grounds to seek another tribunal Judge, they can even file a a suit at another court to restrain her from been the tribunal judge, but they didnt because they know they lack real grounds for such, so they decide to seek sympathy from court of public opinion through sponsored protest

Good day nairalanders, the last time i check she is one of the most senior supreme Court judge, Since the PDP is insisting appeal court judge should rescue her self from being a member of the presidential election tribunal owing to the fact that her husband is a chieftains of the Apc, I just want to know if this matter get to the supreme Court, and Mary Odili happen to be a member of the panel, will she rescue her self? For those who don't know she is the wife of Peter Odili a former rivers state governor.

SEGLIZ:
the constitution does not need to state this. it is sure obvious the court know the right thing to do if at all the party logo and name was left either intentionally or by sheer omission, it with the court jurisdiction to award compensation for loses.
mere contesting and losing an election it clear either the state or Inec would compensate the loser (the more reason we had seventy +, micro and atom political parties contesting for presidency in the last general election).
for all its expenses incurred, if the court find a genuine case in this it has the power to award compensation. the truth is pdm is not after cancellation of election but compensation from Inec but it would only put its case forward from the angle of political reasoning then court would help it, make the case civil leading to compensation.
the court would not call for a fresh election for party that will not poll a single vote thereby wasting billions of Naira when you can compensate it with less than 10% of the entire running cost (a 100 million or less) and everyone will go home happy. so many logical reason would come to play in the court hence resulting in judges decision.
you try, but can't you see this case from the angle of been politically motivated, is either the PDP or the APC, with the way the judiciary arm is treated by this government I don't see them getting such judgement from the court
PoliticsRe: Why Yakubu Should Be Sack by stanleyravos(op): 11:36am On Mar 28, 2019
SEGLIZ:
either you are in support of any political party or not it obvious you are biased. you are not in support of party but their/the candidate that surge from them.
the case is simple by error of omission they were disenfranchised, the next line of action is compensation on the part of Inec and the state putting into consideration this party and it candidate might not have polled a vote as against winning.
why cry fowl when not in even five constituency might know the candidate or it's party. calling for cancellation of election for an unrecognized party and candidate is off it. all that matters now is compensating the party and it's candidate.
thanks for your contributions, but is there room for such compensation in our constitution, if yes to the tone of how much, and where in the constitution
PoliticsWhy Yakubu Should Be Sack by stanleyravos(op): 10:21am On Mar 28, 2019
Good day fellow Nigerian, with the case brought by the people Democratic movement and his presidential candidate before the tribunal i think they have a very nice case, am not a fan of any political party, what is the case all about, their party name was unlawfully omitted from the presidential election ballot paper! Yakubu can not tell Nigerian that he is not aware of the situation. the questions Nigerians should be asking is who is the petitional, why this arrangement and those it which to favour, answer to the first question is simple this presidential candidate was the same pastor that led some group of northern Christian to buhari in asorock if you can remember, answer to the second question is simple let's ring the election and see the evidence they will bring to the tribunal if it will be enough for them to be declared winner then the system will be apply for the elections to be cancel! from the PDP petition am not sure inec will be ready to call 400 witness, let's see as it goes, but i see PDM appeal being attended to before that of pdp
