They're too greedy jare. How can Lagos to Owerri be 15k while Lagos to Sokoto (which is a two day trip) be just 8k? My neighbour is contemplating traveling to Enugu this year because of the fare. The greedy transporters are taking advantage of the high volume of travellers and are hiking the ticket prices. There's no fuel scarcity, no increase in fuel prices, traffic can't be so bad that you will spend hours on the road. so the hike makes no sense.

The hike make sense because those drivers go back to Lagos with almost empty seat, so ppl coming down to east have to pay the return ticket
