You are right about the antibody test but a positive result will always lead to further tests. If three or more tests which are more sensitive confirms it then it's true.

Nevertheless about the husband not having it, a lot of factors are involved. Heterosexual sex has lower transmission rates than homosexual. If the man is circumcised, has no other STDs or sores in the Instruments, doesn't do anal sex, then he can have sex with a positive woman unprotected without actually getting infected for long but no one knows the limit....

Yes she's on ARTs, it was even there case I learnt that ARVs are free. And whoever canvassed to make it free for patients is an angel. I work in the med lab.... Well sometimes we have false negative or false positive. False negative might be dangerous because no further tests are done. But false positives can easily be rectified because further confirmatory tests are done.

What I meant if she's on ART regularly, the chances of her transmitting it to her husband or child is zero because the virus will be reduced to the level where it can't be detected in her blood anymore only in reservoir tissues.

I don't think you're totally right on this...the way the election is normally rigged in the north is by using underaged voters...trust me the northern rural communities have massive numbers when it comes to underaged votes...they will bring the kids for their accreditation,after that they will influence who the kids will vote for..or even do the voting for the kids...I have worked as an inec adhoc staff in the north...bauchi state...so when the votes are rigged this way..this your idea is totally floored..that's how it works...I repeat rural communities in the north have massive underaged voters..they do it so the government can create wards for them...I saw 11year olds...even less than 10years having PVC...being an election officer in those areas is like you facing the devil and the deep blue sea...your life is at stake all the time...good luck to Nigeria though
