Have you/Can you supply to Abuja? |
Zonal Candidates, any update? make una talk now....... |
The house is quiet o. Hasn't anybody been called? Anyway congrats to those who were successful. May we all meet with success. |
phemzieak: BOOM!@phemzieak Which Nigerian bookie offers a trixie. Thanks. |
You seem to miss the whole point of the discussion. Anyway, your holier than thou attitude is very Nigerian. Nobody is asking for your sympathy. Do you know how many people lost their jobs for blowing the whistle and if the authorities were not complicit, do you think it would have generated to all these. If by your submission on Akingbola, the CBN decides to be equitable and fair for once, Do you know that Nigeria will have at most 6 banks? Again, your cynicism which might be borne out of bitterness is misplaced. My advice to you is to reflect deeply before you remark on the 'misfortunes' of others. Anyway, if you are an entrepreneur more power to your elbow. ![]() Have a great year in business but remember it is wise to join your neighbour to put out the fire in his house so that the fire does not spread to your property. stagger: |
@ Stagger Your response is unfortunate and just like a colleague told me before my name appeared on the sack list. Do not judge as you shall be judged likewise. Let me use this opportunity to disabuse your mind; 1. All Bankers I know wish they were entrepreneurs and never look down on them. Of course you might have encountered some arrogant ones as they abound however due to situations such as these (i.e. sack and all) they actually wish they had their own businesses. 2. As for requesting for loans, the banks have set rules that they follow therefore you need to know each bank's rule before applying for a loan. Some banks cater to just corporate clients eg Zenith and some to retail e.g. former intercontinental Bank and some stay in between. Lastly, as for tasting the other side of the coin, you are been shortsighted. Do you know how many people depend on bankers? you might not be one but one way or another you might be affected. A lot of entrepreneurs (Cobblers, traders, hair stylist etc) depend on the 'extravagance' of the banking industry and in extension bankers to make money. Therefore, your cynicism s uncalled for. Just pray that something like this doesn't happen to your close one. I wish I could write more but well, stagger: |
I have a wii which I sofmodded myself. I am a huge nintendo fan and I also have a gamecube with 8 CDs (Resident Evil Zero, Mario Kart Double Dash, F Zero GX etc). I even downloaded the playable demo of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. Basically modding my Wii was fun and I am really enjoying the console. ![]() |
While one might applaud Siasia's effort to instil discipline in the National team, He must not cut the nose to spite the face. The last match against Argentina showed that Enyeama is our best hand within the sticks. I Hope that we will not stumble against guinea in a bid to deal with few players. Let us not forget that Siasia himself was not a saint during his playing days and contributed to the problems Yekini had in the then Super Eagles. He should apply wisdom o. |
beeyee18:@ Beyee, you have made your point. You should be gracious in 'victory'. Let this matter die down. It is not his fault. It is possible that he had a bad experience buying stuff through a platform like this infact I had a terrible experience last two month when someone sold me a dud stuff on Nairaland. Lets do our best to educate everyone that we need such online platforms in this country. It is painful that a marketplace like ebay will not let Nigerians on there site because of our antecedents. We will get there. Have a nice day. |
stmarc32:Oh please, Abacha had 1 million people march for him. |
stmarc32:You better pray that Nigeria does not come next. You talk about Libyan's standard of Living. The Libyans have never said they were fighting for a better standard of living, what they and the whole Arab youths are fighting for is self fulfillment. Humans are born of a free spirit, even God recognizes that. However, when a 'leader' or brother leader as in the case of Gaddafi sends jets to bomb his own people, you can be sure that what is happening can only result. As for Other countries grabbing Libyan oil, that has happened throughout history and we will have done the same for say a Togo or Benin. If you give Nigerians the choice of giving the west 50% of its Oil & Gas assets for a standard of living akin to that of say Libya (which is been praised in this thread), most Nigerians will sign off on it afterall, our politicians are doing worse. All this whining from Africans about the west must stop. If you are given a green visa to these western countries, you guys will jump at the chance. You will go there and enjoy the economy forgetting that the resources were taken from elsewhere. Please lets give all these talks a rest. Thank you. |
Ben-10:@Ben 10, While you do have a point, please lets be diplomatic and sensitive to other people's feelings. If you where standing in front of the original poster, I am sure you response would have need more tactful. However, this invisible wall called the internet has made us all look callous. The poster has just suffered grief, you should at least empathize. What is the whole point of post Jamb if a students has to travel mile to write the exam. Kudos to Unilag for making it an online exam, that will ease some of the problems faced by students. There was the case of pre-degree students raped in Ogun state the other day because the school could not provide adequate accommodation and they resorted to renting accommodation themselves. As such, they were exposed to various security threats that culminated in them been robbed and raped. In that instance would it not be sensible to police schools so that they do not take more students than their capacity? As for Nysc and the guys looking for to the wages they will collect, I do sympathize with you. The condition of the Nigerian Graduate makes him/her look forward to collecting monthly stipends from the government. In my own opinion, Nysc robs Nigerian graduates of 1-2 years for both the ones that attended and the ones exempted. If you go for service, Job is not assured, if you dont go, employers will use that to screen, there is problem in the land. However, Nysc is not worth the lives of our graduates. If it was that important, Children of Governors and ministers will post photos and pictures of their adventures in camp and will tell us tales of what happened during their time in service but alas, they are usually smuggled into the system and that is if it becomes absolutely necessary. I hope some of you will not be sent to Borno because you find N19,000 a month alluring. Nysc is a waste of time. It is the day you are passing out that you will realise that there are better ways to spend one year. Thank you. |
My best fantasy book is "A Blackbird in Silver" and its sequel by Fred Warringhton. |
This ps3 still dey I will offer you 25K. If you are agree. ![]() |
I can give you 13k for it. Regards. |
Hi mikebuddy, I will advise that you choose Sterling Bank. Though, I don't know a lot about their pay structure. However, I am aware they are being taken over by First Rand Bank of South Africa. That could portend great career opportunities for you. You can find out if the proposed merger is still on. Forget about the money for now and think about career goals and opportunity. Take this advice from someone caught up in Intercontinental Bank Plc. Above all, pray to God. Best of luck. |
I will give you 28k. If you are agree. |
