EducationRe: What Happened To The Top Scoring Student In Your School? by Stark7: 8:38am On Jun 02, 2017
I was the best in secondary school, with the pressure to gain admission, I chose an engineering course which I never really had interest except for the so called prestige it carried. Wanted to change course but was discouraged so I had to change when it a bit late to LIB & information science cos I felt it could give me time to do some computer stuff cos it's what I understood quick then but got Health education.
I love love my current department even though I need something tougher but there's more to life than university so I have to move on.
Always follow your dreams even though you're pressurized to do something else.
Keep pushing on and strive for excellence; don't settle for less(average).

I noticed whenever I make recharge of N200 or above, MTN just decides to deduct it and leave a small balance or nothing in some instances.
Sometimes, I feel reluctant recharging my MTN line because of such unrealistic deductions.
The funny thing is I don't get a message telling me I've subscribed for a particular service; my balance just vanishes like that.
I've dialed *131*201# on several occasions to deactivate/cancel all services.
I don't know why they enjoy such acts.

Walking everyday to lectures and thinking about what tomorrow holds instead of lectures has been the order of the day for me cos things changed and I no longer receive cash from home like before. It's got me thinking why my location ain't somewhere in the SE where hustle is concentrated, I mean business ventures. I have got the believe that things will be better and I'll live to tell my story to others.
I recall a message when Apostle Joshua Selman said there was a time he'd take fruit and sachet water and thank God.
I believe what's happening now is a lesson and an avenue to awaken other hidden potentials. I've been good at getting the best out of my peers and helping them attain achieve great stuff.
I even had to stop buying data just to balance myself (I'm using school wi-fi now though).
Sometimes, I come to this forum and see the situation and the rate everyone is determined to make it and I see some struggling to pay bills of their kids.
I see how people rush to threads where cash is being wired to some accounts dropping their bank details.
The current situation of Nigeria is pathetic and some students like myself are being stretched.
Being alive is considered a gift and there's a purpose and role I'm playing and there's even more to do in this life.
Helping people has been part of me and I don't think it will stop when I really become financially stable and wealthy.
I don't know why I'm writing this but I feel I have to express myself somewhere to keep my brain stable at least.
Also, let desperation not make some of you do things you'd regret later.
I've avoided gambling
I've also avoided money doubling schemes.

Others here can share their situations too.
Are things rosy in your end?
What's your food combination like?
What's your mind telling you?

Also, for those of you that have passed this phase, kindly share your story let's pick one or two things from them.

Stay safe and still believe in Nigeria.

You messed up the OS/hard drive already. Get a new Windows CD and perform a clean install after formating the drive.

P.S: You might consider changing the drive as it's failure might be close
Thanks, managed to format it and got Windows 8.1 running on it.
Though the hard disk error still shows.
I hope it still stays for some time lemme save up.
BTW, I went to C Drive and scanned it but no errors were detected. I also feel it's too early to develop such faults (not up to 8 months).

Internal or external?
What kind of error are you getting? Is it S.M.A.R.T error?
Hello boss,
Upgraded to Windows 10 last year and used it for few months then around 24th December last year, it was struck with BSOD(Blue screen of Death).
Tried automatic repair but it failed to boot the system to start-up screen (Desktop).
So I decided to use advanced options.
In the advanced options;
I tried-
System restore- It failed to restore the system.
Start-up repair-this failed to tackle the problem.
Go back to previous build- Attempting to go back to previous build failed.
Start up Settings-I tried using start up settings so that I can solve the BSOD via Safe mode and deactivate some start up options but failed.
Command prompt-Using the boot and fix command prompt codes including some stretchy ones I got from YouTube didn't work too.
System recovery image-I didn't have 10 disk and Flash wasn't available to try and create a bootable OS.
Now, my sister had to do some presentation and needed my system cos hers was stolen so I thought of getting the system back to shape as soon as possible.
So I tried the reset that will keep my files but it didn't work so I tried resetting everything at the expense of losing my files.
After wasting 3-4 hours of my time resetting, the process failed and the problem of my system deteriorated.
Now it's now blank after the SMART hard disk error menu.
I'm regretting
moving to Windows 10 cos after much research, I see so many complains about BSOD on win 10.
I need your assistance.

PHE is one those courses we take as a curse in Nigeria, but it's one of the most lucrative course in western world as you can see if you are a soccer fan. The issue is that the school and the lecturers are not helping the situation. They will even make the course miserable for students.

The curriculum is based on 40% classroom and 60% field event. But if you want to further to masters level it will definitely be education course unless you do a pg then u can go to other discipline...

Wait for more
Nice, thanks for this.
Waiting for more
