babarazy: Jonathan Condemns Killing Of Health Workers In Kano?. Is that all he could say?... OMG!. Cant he ask Obama how he tackled Osama?I'm not a fan of GEJ and I never will but give this man a break abeg..What should he have done to avert what happened? If he keeps mute, you complain, now he has condemned the act, you are still criticising him. I ask again, what do you suggest he does? |
^^you should be ashamed of yourself.. ![]() |
coogar: a man cannot be rapëd in the nigerian constitution. equally hilarious is the fact that a wife cannot be rapëd by her husband in nigeria. there's no provision for those 2 type of cases and we have over 1 billion learned people in that country and none of them has moved against this 10th century constitution. shame on nigeria!I agree and even the so called provision for the most common form of rape is a weak one. How many of the culprits actually get convicted. A good percentage of rapists get away with it because its a crime that is very difficult to prove in Nigeria. |
Ejiné: Exactly. For example, a boy fighting with a girl in the bush can also look like rape, especially when she's on the ground. There's nothing dumb about the law.. Its proving beyond all reasonable doubts that someone was actually molested that is difficult and for this same reason, most molesters have gone scot free. |
Oahray: sadly so. Nigerian legislators fail to realise that women can be just as bad as their male counterpart. The article did not favour any $£X, as there wasn't any mention of male or female all through. And yes, there are women who beat up their husbands but most physically abused husbands do not come out to admit that probably because they do not want to be seen as 'weak'..their loss, no one's fault. |
Fellow wayne: Thanks for the new law but i will like the nan to impliment another bill that any girl found dressing indecently or disclosing her cleavage or whatever will be sentenced to life jail cause it makes boy to molest them !!So how many girls have you raped so far cos I know you see cleavages almost everyday of your life. And for your underage victims that don't have cleavages, what triggers you to molest them? Oh, and for men that get molested by women, could you shed more light on what 'makes women to molest them'...do they 'disclose their balls too?? |
Shame on u refree!! I'm so happy for BF, though the sight of bance disgusts me! Goshhhh..dude is sooo ugly! I rooted for ghana initially, but BF surely deserves it. One more thing, eagles are so spelling the whole of burkinafaso come sunday!! |

coogar: so a mother in law conducting virginity test/fertility test is doing it out of greed? father in law wants to know if the groom is financially buoyant enough to marry his daughter. mother in law wants to be sure the bride can even conceive or has led a responsible life. i think the 2 situations sync perfectly. let each side conduct as many relevant tests as possible. welcome to the new world!Lol at different tests!! Anyway, Like I said earlier, I do not think the father is doing it out of greed, I think he just wants to be sure his son-inlaw to be is as real as he presents himself. He must have his reasons for doubting him and in the first place and if re-assurance is all that's required, I see no big deal in it. And no, conducting fertility test isn't out of greed either, its just taking things too far...they are two different things joo. |
Bawss1: The good ol' NL Family Section flip right there!Coogar's analogy is totally out of place here. This father's concern isn't out of greed, I believe he only wants to make sure the daughter he raised for years isn't falling into wrong hands. It doesn't necessarily mean he doesn't trust his daughter's judgement, all he wants is to see for himself, and if that's a criterion to marrying his daughter, then so be it. And btw, infertility isn't just a female thing anymore, if you think a mother-inlaw should run several fertility test on her daughter-in-law to be, then she should be ready to do the same for her son too..no be by length or width! |
pweetymama: i think the reverse is the case here and u are the under aged one or you won't be talking carelessly to people you have never met.you really need to learn how to address people. Please calm down and re-read her last post..it makes a whole lot of sense, focus on the message and not the 'messenger'. I was also drawn back reading that statement of yours (my family will be more willing to help than your family bla bla)..and you don't seem to see anything wrong with it. Only jenny pointed it out and I think ileobatojo also mentioned it too. |
Akshow: I use to think I'm the only one that finds that yinka irritating. She rarely makes constructive criticism. Jus feeding up on What other judges say. Very annoyin woman. Project fame remains the bestI'm glad someone also thinks this way. She's just so loud and annoying. She's definitely not qualified to be a judge cos she has no mind of her own. I hate it when she looks out for naeto c and the other guy's reaction to pass her comment. Nothing sensible comes out of her wide mouth. All she does is to scream and laugh like a crazy woman. Even those contestants look confused whenever she comments. Btw, misleading post OP, these aren't the finalist. Just 9 contestants have been confirmed. Some of them in the above picture have left while some are still on 'probation'. |
