What exactly are you defending? Its not just about the garri and beans, its about the quality of the beans cooked and the condition they were cooked. I'm serving presently and what they serve in camps are poisons.

No one is expecting luxury in camp but good food would'nt hurt. You want them to serve the nation, give them 'good' , 'nutritious' 'well cooked' food..not toxins! Even the sight of those meals makes me wanna puke.

What if there were no mammies in camps, is that what corpers are meant to be served with.

Not all corpers come from a poor back ground, so telling them to appreciate that poison is nonsense.. And even if one from comes a poor background, he\she deserves to be served with that badly cooked food?


There is a difference between an intentionally poorly-cooked food and one that was cooked due to low budget. A good food can still be prepared with low budget.

How come none of those ogas eat the food if its that nutritious. Selfish lots!

I can't be bothered anyway, cos I do mammy things too, so my meal ticket remains under my travelling bag.

Gombs: emm...My name's gombs,i spent 6years of my teenage years in Gombe for my sec school...Now,that's one hell of a weird weather place.The sun is torture,esp in the dry season,hamattan there is evil...And the sand...But asides the weather,you should adapt pretty well,you'd get used to the weather in no time...They're fun people,respectful and lazy(esp the southern indigeinous christian dominated parts).But you'd need to learn hausa fast,that's if you dont speak it already...Cheap food stuff,and the ladies there are cheaper than pure water.Pray they dont send you to the northern part of d state..It's bordering Borno...Lol...

I really enjoyed myself this morning. Well, it shows we are all intellectuals and schorlars. Being able to express our minds is very good rather than keeping it with grudge. We are still together don't worry.

I remember a story I once heard of an art exbition. All the artist in the country were asked to draw and paint a picture to signify 'PEACE'. Each one one them came up with something different. Someone painted a calm ocean as a symbol of peace, others include the nature, a cool forest, a happy family, an enviroment void of noice and so on that I can't mention all. None of these aforementioned artist won the contest but one who drew something very significant

In his work, he drew a man sitted on top of a tree. The tree itself was shaking and the root is not that strong. On top were almost broken branches all over the tree. There was a wild storm and it seems nemesis was going to catch up with the man. When this artist was asked to explain his interpretation of his work is said and I quote...'PEACE COULD ONLY BE FELT IN THE MIDST OF TRIBULATIONS AND UNFAVOURABLE CIRCUMSTANCES'

I too believe in that statement my fellow people. In the midst of the whole drama I enjoy that peace. Please let's just practice it by letting PEACE reign. At least we are all satisfied to some extent. Am not discouraged or with any grudge against anyone...am so so happy and I believe all is well. I can't stop saying...I LOVE YOU ALL.

Mentality like this are the reasons some observers like me do not comment, you claim its the big house for all prospective batch B corpers, but you not comfortable having new people with differnt personalities around.
