ihedioramma:I only have M&B, Fidelity & ConOil. I don't hold more than 3/4 stocks at any time. Just my view on the general market. ConOil is my TOTAL/MOBIL. The Only stock I intend to hold Long term, unless fundamentals change. My loots finds its way here ![]() |
ihedioramma:My risk in Fidelity is well calculated...Watch the surprise the bank would pull with possibility of an interim dividend from audited Q2. Getting Fidelity is a give away below N1.50 thank me later. Study their books. They are meticulous. N/B - View expressed are personal. Invest wisely ![]() |

Management noted that the capital raising success at its subsidiaries as well as planned disposal of a N5 billion investment property at UPDC should lower the company’s need for debt. " |

Coolcash1:Don't mind the management... What is annoying is they want to raise funds from non-controlling interest and management says Femi would not be a part of the exercise. So we raise money for him to resurrect the dying downstream biz, while majority of profit from the juicy Energy generation biz goes into his bank account. I have always said it no sentiment for any reckless management/stock in the NSE. Happy I exited when I did. Since men have learnt to shoot without missing, the bird has learnt to fly without perching. |
pluto09:Ok I see Clap for Ote$ and he wants to rasie N20bn from non-controlling interests. |
EDUECO:Page 8, Forte Oil, I am not understanding the Profit declared vis a vis EPS. Anyways as I expected they was drop in revenue from Fuels Slight increase in the lubricant biz The only thing holding up Forte Oil now is the Energy generation biz which generated over 16bn compared to 4bn last year. In total they was a drop in revenue QoQ. They need to find away to grow more. PG 43 Drop in gross profit, drop in PAT. EPS 1.05(2017) compared to 1.88(2016) Not so good for me. Let market be the judge. Pls accountants in the house kindly review pg 8 & pg 43 of the result, we need clarification. Confusing what they did here. |
DeRuggedProf:Prof wan kill person ...When you reach my place dem go tell you say I commot since friday go Nnamdi Okafor house MD May&Baker |
BullBearMkt...I must commend your technical analysis. An area I am investing more, especially for fx trade. No sentiment attached...cos with sentiments you are bound to loose money at some point. For TA it's always in the chart...if it says Sell it is Sell, Buy is a Buy no matter how unconvinced you are. |
BullBearMkt:Typical of NSE they would hoard it, but I would wait for minor pull backs for long term. Thanks |
DeRuggedProf:When results are good in NSE they don't waste time to release it. The management said On/Before July 31st. But one might be wrong, hopefully this week I hope they release it. If the results beats estimate then the rally go get momentum. The power generation business is bound to do well, but only concern is the downstream where margin is shrinking and competion is growing, noticed same in Mobil & Total. These can also be compensated if they generate more from lubricants, which I think the company is also expanding. Prof...looking @ the 20 billion capital raise. I doubt if they would allow price visit/stay below N50 again, even if result is not as expected. Sentiment for FORTE is always at play. For long term they are willing to accumulate. My thoughts. |
DeRuggedProf:Well said. |
Cadillac15:What kind of reasoning is this ...try to live a life above suspicion. I have nothing more to say. |
