Moving on....based on the projected year end result of Dangote salt and Sugar, which I pressume to be above N2.00 Investors may be looking at end of year dividend above N1.00(Interim inclusive) for both stocks. If we have to place a fair price based on future earnings and growth opportunities of both companies we are looking at N20-N22 in comparison to earnings of stocks like Flourmills & UACN, Unilever. Nascon is diversifying into edible oil, seasoning etc, while Dangote Sugar is making significant investment in its backward integration programme (BIP) should yield better returns in the years ahead. Pls do your DD. I do not own any of the above stocks. Invest wisely CC. Your Contributions highly appreciated BullBearMkt fxuser emmanuelewumi DeRuggedProf |

BullBearMkt: ...I'm not sure you got what is happening here. What Loco did is deceitful and should be condemned totally. Go through his yesterday's post trends, he had the intention to deceive people. -gave his broker order to sell 5million of his shares 2 days earlier -came to the forum on Friday telling everyone not to sell theirs -boasting of using wisdom
That is typical deception! Unlike your experts & Warren Buffet that will give you advice and stick to their professional advises.
Anyway, no need to flog this issue beyond this, the way forward is what we need... Make we try forgive am. Sir Loco when you return from RSA try apologize. I know it was not intentional may be you where also trying to play safe. |

RedStar Dividend 40k closure: 2 Aug
FlourMills Div : N1.00 Closure: 7 Aug - 11 Aug
Dang Sugar interim Div: 50kobo Closure: 14 Aug
Custodian Interim Div 10kobo Closure: 21 - 25 Aug Dang Sugar would make sense long term, considering their Q2. + Dividend. I was not aware their qualification date still open. |

vivie01: Like Locodemy, like stcool. The similarity is just glaring.
Applying wisdom (419) but LOW on IQ to think, understand message and talk.
I was never his fan and never bought any stock based on his recommendation.
Well, I've said my own, it's left for anyone to say or do whatever he/she likes, only dont come running to this forum asking if anyone knows someone's phyisical address in order to track him down. I rest my case! The bolded is an insult on my person but I would let it go. Now let me make it clear that nobody comes here with the intention of deceiving anyone. Yes Sir Loco may have made a mistake by being too confident, but we are all human. Going all out for his head is not the best way to go. Are you saying nobody has benefited from some of his stock picks? What if FCMB result actually came out fantastic and hit N2 would you acknowledge his advice. Oga Emmanuel has also said it, if you don't want to lose money then invest in mutual funds, treasury bills, fixed deposit etc. I do most forms of investment like stock market, treasury bills and I trade forex. Till date I have not recovered from all my loss in forex due to advice and following experts/alerts, but do I go about blaming the person that gave the advice. No One thing is sure, in the investment world even warren buffet can advice you that he has invested inside a company after taking position, but won't tell you when he exits(or reduce position). News may come out months later after they have exited. Losses are good, they only make you a better investor. We would only make people contribute less here. Every discussion here good or bad, you need to make a profitable entry position. N/B - Go through the prospectus of most of the companies we bought their IPO/Right Issues in 2008 with projections that they would pay X amount of dividend. Some of them till date not a dime, some have even been delisted. That is the investment world.
You can only come for Sir Loco's head if he asked you to give him your money to manage, he did not do that. So let it go. |

zendi: Why are BNSITL, led by vivie01, turning into a Loco lynch mob? He didn't deceive anybody, neither does he owe anybody apology. He was only telling the house the stock he was loading. Recommendations, suggestions and utterances may come, BUT THE DECISION TO TRADE IS SUPREMELY YOURS. We have over flogged this point here. Nor do I imagine that anybody would deliberately come out here to wilfully mislead. Indeed, we as BNSITL should even be concerned that locodemy is not hurt, giving the said size of his exposure. And for God's sake, enough of of all this newbie nursing talk. This place is not a training ground for baby speculators, much as we share ideas, info and experiences. Anybody who doesn't know how to trade should open an Asset Mgt Acct with his Stockbroker for them to trade for him. Which is not to say that I myself am infallible. No body is perfect in speculation, because if anybody can see the future clearly, even the banks will be coming to borrow from him. You have said it all...A newbie that wants to trade stocks should first go and read books on investment. That is how I started. Nigerians we like short cut. Nobody owes anyone apology here for losing money or making money. So Sir Loco would pick a stock and buy, then also inform you before he sells. Would you do it? Clap for yourself. |

In the stock market business, you have to make you own rule and live by it not by what anyone says. Don't buy because anyone said buy and don't sell cos anyone said sell...
Do you know how much people have lost to investment analysts. What is happening here is nothing compared to foreign stock markets.
Have an Investment plan...and trade your plan. |

However, all banks don't have to be on the same tier. Big, medium and small banks all have a role to play. The big banks were once small. True. locodemy: I now have only 7m units left.No problem....... I swear,i will not take it easy on any company that declares rubbish. When you talk, people think you are talking a stock down. But this is NSE, and most of this ceo's don't care, likewise you should not spare them when buying any stock. Any company that does not do well would meet equal price adjustment. I have FBNH but does not mean I would support directors taking rash decisions affecting my investment. If you cant perform like GTB/Zenith and claiming biggest then park well. |

My take on this Tier 2 banks especially the family controlled once like Diamond and FCMB is that CBN needs to take it from them and merge them or allow experienced technocrats manage them.
