birdman: I hope Sam Presti figures it out this time. I think everyone is tired of the era of superstars in their prime jumping about to collect ring. People want to see home grown teams winning. I havent seen anyone express real hate towards the last 4 playoff teams, even the team with urckle lookalike Everone appreciates these guys put in the time to get here. Who is the Urckle lookalike? |

birdman: This life eh. They were begging KD, then Harden then Westbrook to stay. We never saw a dynamic team like that, and never thought we would ever see it again. And here we are. Young humble team playing hard and smart, no egos. Ol boy, na make all man dey humble o. No one is too big for time to leave behind And this looks like the beginning of their prime. It's only the CBA that can tear them apart, when they have to start paying guys. |

greypencils: -54 +/- is not prime. Lebron has been diefied by lots of voters that doesn't mean he is at his best. Other people deserve that spot. But we understand, you are a fan so it's Ok to ignore the obvious. This is how bereft of ideas you people have become, for you to stoop so low as to bring up plus minus. Like for real bro, try something better |

birdman: Its like the 4 minute mile. Once one man broke the mental barrier, everyone started doing it. Even now there are 60, 70 year olds that move like they in their 30s and 40s. I wont be surprised if some of these young cats play 15, 20years in the league as well Playing 20 years is not the question. The question is can you be in your prime for the entire 20 years? |

No other player in NBA history has made all-NBA more than 15 times. LeBron has made it 21 times.

How did Steph Curry sneak into All-NBA second team? And who are those two people who voted him first team? I want to know who they are. Imagine Steph having more first team votes than Mobley.

birdman: End of an era for sure. I cannot see curry, durant, lebron winning a ring again. Its jist not about skill. Its also how the younger athletes have adapted the game. I did not think it was possible to guard Jokic and Murray like they did, and not get in foul trouble. Ehn, LeBron can't win a ring, but Luka can |

brownnikky16: While some actresses detest going into relationship with their male counterparts, it’s not so for popular Nollywood actress, Kiki Omeili.
The thespian, who dumped her degree in medicine for the klieg lights, says she might end up marrying an actor.
Hear her:
“When I meet that husband material of mine, I’d know. I have heard a lot of people roll out what they want in a partner and at the end of the day they marry someone who is the exact opposite.
For me, I like a confident, hardworking, intellectual, and God fearing man. And he must be rich and comfortable, this is very important. By and large, when I meet him, I would know. I don’t limit myself, even if he’s an actor or he’s into entertainment, I don’t mind, as long as we are happy together.”
On handling her social media fans, Kiki said:
“I love my fans a lot. I have encountered embarrassing moments from some of them. There are times when they would jump on you without even knowing your mood or knowing you too well.
“I also don’t listen to negative people or negative vibes. I don’t have that strength or space to entertain negativity. On social media, if I see any negative comment, I delete and block the person. That’s my strategy. Those people on social media always say hurtful things. I’m a very peaceful person and keep my private life, private.”

The Knicks would've won this series even with Tatum. This is what we expected from this team when they assembled that monster of a starting 5. When you have Hart, who is presumably the 5th best player on that team, grabbing a triple double. How do you beat that? Hart is the ultimate utility man. |

larride: Haliburton is overrated abeg
What has been helping the Pacers is that almost everyone on their rooster can get hot and lit it up. He's just not consistent. Could go for 35 one game and 8 the next. |

birdman: Tmac is better than Luka will ever dream of lol. With today's rules, Tmac go dey drop 40 nightly. Not to mention with his wingspan he was a naturally good defender. What part of the game will you say Luka is better than tmac other than shooting higher clip at the 3 pt line Relax o. That's how they said Reggie Miller is better than SGA. Now we're not even hearing those comparisons anymore. Everybody don believe. I know you're just being a Houston fan. Even me might say Robert Harry is better than MJ because he has more rings |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 10:11pm On Apr 18, 2025 |
In one breath they say LeBron has a bad plus minus which means he's dropping empty calorie stats, and in the same breath they say the Lakers have Luka and LEBRON and so they have to win the championship. They're shamelessly showing us their inconsistencies as usual. But hey, you do you, I'm just watching from the sidelines |
