Le(4-6)fans dey too emotional and too get strong head. A 55th pick is an NBA player if he is in the NBA. Tell us what Stephen A criticized Bronny for. Stating his stats again is not criticism. While you try to gather that, show me which other late pick had Lebron James as their father. Ofcourse the context was his father. His father forced him into the NBA by hook or crook. Any record to help his case matters, including creating the first Father-and-son-with-an-NBA-contract narrative. Another feather on his 'longevity' cap. Man played long enough to see his Son drafted. bla bla bla
If Stephen A has a problem with LeBron getting his son into the league, he should clearly state it

Stating a player's stats is a statement of fact. That by itself isn't a criticism.
Stating player stats for the no. 55th pick. Now tell me which other late picks in NBA history he has stated their stats.

Oh, the answer is none.

Underrate OKC at your own peril

This is exactly what Stephen A said. How is this disrespectful. I love LeBron but some LeBron fans just want to ride his dick on any matter even when he's in the wrong.
Lol. Stephen A is more tamed on the Stephen A smith show than on First Take. That's all I got to say grin

1. The parents of those other players aren't Lebron

2. Their parents didn't come to international media to float that he's better than lots of players in the league and that he can definitely help the lakers win right now

3. Those players didn't tell other teams not to sign them except the lakers.

4. The parents of those players didn't strong arm a NBA franchise to sign them or they join another team.

So why are we ignoring all this context?

If LeBron has let Bronny find his way, go to an Indiana or Detroit and let him earn his way into the NBA, the scrutiny will be lesser.

When Lavar ball ran his mouth , his son's play were scrutinized to see if they matched up to the expectations.

And most importantly STEPHEN A HAS NEVER CRITICIZED BRONNY, INSTEAD IT WAS HOW LEBRON HANDLED THE MATTER THAT HE CRITIC
Yea, let's give the same amount of scrutiny to a no. 55 pick as we'd give to no. 2 picks

And Stephen A has criticized Bronny a lot of times, even going as far as stating what he averages for the season. Have you been under a rock?

If Stephen A wants to criticise LeBron for using his powers to draft Bronny, he should come out and say so. He's been on record so many times saying he has no problem with it. In fact, he applauds it. So your point about LeBron doing everything within his power to play with his son is moot, because Stephen A doesn't have a problem with that.

What Stephen A does when it pertains Bronny is what the random LeBron hater on social media does. That feels a little corny. Have you ever seen Mike Wilburn or Tony Kornheiser or Chris Brussard talk about Bronny in that manner? It's only the hatters in the media who do that.

Skrrrrrrr:
Isn't that the point. Is that not what everyone is saying, that he ain't ready for the leaguehuh?
Outside reiterating that fact, did Stephen A, say anything elsehuh?
Thats exactly the point. How many of these players has Stephen A talked about? He's targeting Bronny only because he's LeBron's son, not because he thinks he can't play. That's why LeBron stepped up to him. I get you have to talk about whatever relates to LeBron because that's what drives traffic, but when you have to go as far as targeting a 55th pick who I can assure you has done better this season than a few guys in his draft class, it calls for some cautioning.

There is nobody worth playing in the league, that he is better than....
Oh, nice. You answered a question I didn't ask. So you agree there are several players that are not worthy of being in the league. Am I right? Something you accuse Bronny of.
SportsRe: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 3:45am On Mar 09, 2025
So if you're having a normal shooting motion and you hit my face which is in a normal position, that's not a foul?

And I noticed how we never get replays when there's suspicion of a shooting foul on the Celtics.

"Man Bronny definitely better than some of these cats I've been watching on league pass today," James tweeted. "S*** lightweight hilarious." - LeBron 2024.
Proceeds to swipe the emotional Dad card because people held his son to the required expectation.
Ok, one question. Is Bronny the worst player in the league? In other words, are there players in the league Bronny is better than?

Answer carefully.

Lol. Ok. Let's unnarrow it away from points per game.
By what metrics was Andrew wiggins better than any of those guys?
Educate us.....
I'm not trying to find who was better for whichever team. I'm trying to understand you when you say Wiggins's all-star selection was a popularity vote. Did you watch Wiggins that 2021/22 at all. Can you tell me with a straight face that Wiggins didn't deserve to be an all-star?
SportsRe: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 10:48am On Mar 02, 2025
Skrrrrrrr:
Nah. You are just shameless.
All star is based off popularity votes and mean next to nothing. All star Wiggins average 17ppg in the regular season and 16ppg, in the playoffs that season. Anthony Davis has never averaged that low since his rookie season. Matter of fact, wanna guess who else averaged more than wiggins on Lebrons Team? Yeah, Russel westbrook..
You see how pathetic you bronsexuals appear?
Bron has never won the title with his second option averaging that low.
Kyrie average 20 in the season and 27 in the finals the season they won, that's more PPG than steph curry in the finals.
Wade averaged 22, in the two seasons they won the chip. Infact Wiggins, stats were slightly lower than that of chris bosh who was again a 3rd choice....
Abeg fess up. You no get talk.....
I can't even be arguing with someone who narrows basketball down to points per game. I just can't

I don't care about your other ramblings but if Curry played with prime AD, he'd win atleast win atleast 2 rings. Curry won a ring with wiggins as his second best player while lebron was missing the playoffs with AD and westbrook. And if Curry had Luka right now, they'd be the title favourites....
No, Curry won a ring with Wiggins who was an all-star. In fact, Curry won a ring with 2 other all-stars on his team. No other team had that luxury that year. Let's say it as it is. You lot go with names all the time when you're supposed to be going with actual performance on the court

Who bewitched you? Everybody knows who the. favorites are? Lefans are never straightforward with anything. You are never the favourite. Anybody else but you.
So you'd put us in the same category as OKC, Boston and the Cavs? Like don't you watch basketball?

You people are insufferable

I don't understand the faux humility of Lakers fan. You're one game out of 2nd place in the western conference that guarantees home court advantage till the conference finals and you're claiming you're not a contender? angry
No one is claiming not to be a contender. We're contenders as much as the warriors or the Nuggets are contenders. But does that mean we're the favourites to win it. Everybody knows who the favourites are.

I was wondering if you will notice. While Luka has the star power, AD was a better match to make a run in the west. And he had been injury free this year. I have accepted that the window has closed for you guys.
Window has closed as in we won't win with LeBron and Luka at all? Even next year?

E don be for us grin

41.5% FG, 26.8% 3PT FG, 69.6% FT. And still won by 9 huh angry

Na defense we dey rely on these days. The Luka experience hasn't been funny.

Lol. My guy. This OKC team won't win 2 games against the lakers. We saw them against Dallas last season. And the lakers are a way better team....
Relax. The Lakers have obvious flaws. We're not built to contend this season. Maybe next season.
SportsRe: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 11:42am On Feb 24, 2025
Listening to some pro Denver and anti-Lakers podcast and it's clear they're pissed by that win grin Talmbout the Lakers are not going to be able to sustain that kind of intensity in a playoff series against Denver. Lol, we'll cross that bridge when we get there. For now analyze the game you just watched grin

The Mark Williams/Dalton Knecht trade has been rescinded due to a failed medical. I so love this. The acquisition never sat right with me. That man has missed two thirds of his NBA career through injuries, and you knew it wasn't going to change with the Lakers.

We have our Dalton back - a good rotation piece. And this also gives us Cam Reddish back, someone that can pe plugged in to the rotation in certain situations.

What does this mean for our C position? We're definitely a man short. Jaxson Hayes is not ideal but it means we'd have to play small ball a lot. We've thrived in it in the past few games. Jemison and Koloko are going to be the backups. Let's see how it goes.

There is no explanation for this trade o. Cos I swear, the Mavs are one piece from getting a title. All they needed to add to the team was a backup guard who can play defense, someone like GPII and they are good for years. Not this!
That would be Max Christie
