greypencils: Someone should please defend this. 48 made 3s from 95 attempts. That is, 2 attempted 3s per minute of basketball. That is an attempted 3 per possession. We might as well scrap layups and midrange shots. Real basketball fans have every right to be disgusted. This is 2024. Live with it. Accept that the game has changed. No kid wants to play like Stockton or Shaq. They all want to play like Steph and Jokic. In the future, the game might return to what it was in the 80s and 90s. And we would accept the change. But for now, it is what it is. |

joshboo: 😂😂😂 No wonder the league ratings are dropping faster than Tinubus policies... Most teams hardly run plays like in time past, Just imagine Tonight's game Warriors vs the Mavs, what was that?? There's Zero Fun In the game, even most big men in the league Bar Gianni's hardly get to the point, it's Nauseating.
Then Biko how's Jokic ahead of Gianni's in the MVP rankings currently?? How's Jokic playing Zero D winning 3 MVPs over Gianni's?? Nawa oo, him don use tripple Dobs blind his deficiency Defensively. Lol, which defense Giannis dey play? This ain't 2020. Don't let past exploits cloud your judgement. If you put Giannis in the MVP conversations then why won't you put AD? AD has been a better defender than Giannis on average. And they have similar team records. |

Lol, how won't ratings drop? How many of you watch from official channels? When you watch from an illegal stream, do you think it counts towards the ratings? This is 2024 bro, you don't need ESPN or ABC to catch the games |

I think LeBron has it at the back of his mind that he's going to retire after this season. And that is already affecting his game somewhat. 4 of 16 shooting is just not something we attribute to LeBron. So many bad games already this season, and it's not even Christmas yet. I think he's missed he's last 24 three pointers or something. Baba, do and retire. You've earned it. |

greypencils: With warriors, the more you see, the less you understand. Everybody is keeping their fingers crossed. No one is sure of anything until a pattern has been established. The warriors also need a heat check against the Celtics. That will tell you all you need to know. Do you now accept that the warriors are a very very good team (probably the best)? They've passed the test against the best |

The Warrior's team though. They just confirmed what I've been saying about the depth. They just blew out the Pelicans without Steph and Wiggins. |

After all, he's fulfilled that dream of playing with his son. You deserve that retirement bro. Ain't gon fault you. Ignore this. I wasn't thinking straight when I said this |

greypencils: The NBA begins indeed. I have found myself watching highlights of Jason Williams 'White Chocolate'. I wish to see assists as good as his this season. By the way, is this team good enough to beat the Celtics? These creeps are still the favorites to go back to back. 6-0 in the preseason. This team is certainly the deepest team in the league. Will it be enough? We'll find out. |

Hohenheim: 92/93 was the year with the lowest wins during the bulls championship, and what happened during the summer of 92? Well Google is your friend
Clearly MJ and Scottie were taking it easy that season and saving their energy for the playoffs, something we see a lot of teams do today.
For the 93/94 season they added Tony Kukoc and clearly they had something to prove that they were not just MJ's team. They had a decent playoff run but lost game 7 of the second round.
The next season they were literally out of a playoff spot (tbf they lost Grant) before MJ came back, they were also begging him to come back All this is true and well. But the fact remains that the best player in the league left a team and that team didn't stutter one bit. Do you know how utterly ridiculous that is? It means either of these two things or a combination of both of them 1. MJ wasn't really that special when it came to winning. He only had the best team and the best coach in the league. 2. The NBA was bereft of great talent then and the competition wasn't all that much, asides a handful of teams like the Jazz, Rockets, Knicks and I won't even say Lakers and Pistons because that period of MJ's winning coincided with the end of the showtime and bad boys era. |

This is a serious own goal. If you know how to read stats properly, you'd see that there was a drop in viewership in the COVID years. But I'm sure you saw that. |
