MT:

You raised a lot of valid points to be honest. But can I ask?

If you do not start taxing or remove the subsidy, where will you get the revenue to execute your manifesto?

Remember that the current budget is to be financed by 60% borrowing, 40% crude sales, despite the heavy debts that Nigeria has sunk in. Will you have just rolled with it and start borrowing to implement the budget or you will look inward to generate revenue so as to reduce the burden of debt?

Nigeria as a country don't need to borrow money from anywhere.
How do you explain 40bil for SUVs for senators n rep members. You borrow just to appease lawmakers.
Why can't the cost of governance be reduced to save money.
During the president inauguration, I didn't hear him talk anything about our refineries and how to make them work optimally.

Well, maybe it's in his plans which I can't tell now, we wait n see
Politics / Re: Tinubu Critics:if You Were To Be President, what Would You Have Done Differently? by stebell(m): 11:50am On Jul 16, 2023
I wouldn't have announced the subsidy removal cos it caused panic and you know the fall out of that premature announcement.

I wouldn't go ahead and immediately start taxing Nigerians indiscriminately knowing we are coming out from your party's adminstration that dealt with Nigerians mercilessly to the extent of more Nigerians loosing the source of livelihood, increased poverty in the land, and takes up inflation to astronomical high level.

I wouldn't take more than a month or a week to announce my cabinet members cos elections have been over for like 2months now, so what's the delay??

As for the money to be borrowed and the monies to be shared, who does that in this era?
What will sharing money do to elevate anything? Nothing. Just another avenue to loot and keep looting.

We have indeed entered one chance with Tinubu.

Can you see how the Kalabaris are sabotaging our riverine agenda?

Look at how Tonye a kalabari man is supporting another Ikwerre governor after Omehia, Amaechi and Wike all from Ikwerre had ruled the state for the past 14 years.

Tonye can only see how SECONDUS is bad but was blind to Wike's clannish agenda without any regards to even traditional institutions in the state.

Wike is doing everything to rubbish SECONDUS in other to have his way but he and the likes of Tonye will failed like Olosho br3ast.

The matter at hand shudnt be about tribe but putting the party in a position to be strong and formidable.
The party under Secondus leadership is tearing apart.

See the little lady.....look at the environment. She modelled around books. This is what we should surround our kids with. Books. Now technology has ruined everything. Gone are the days where you will see two kids quoting formulas on the street. Reciting Hooke's law and postulating theories. I remember on particular day a man had to park to clear an argument,we were arguing on glycolysis. Gone. Now you see kids in ashawo thread.

Continue in this path young lady, the sky is your limit

You just brought some stuff to mind. I too also remember a day my guys and I were coming back from evening lesson talking about osmosis, bearing and indices and how we wud have gotten the answer... These memories are eternal.

Politics / Re: Ijaws, If Nigeria Breaks, Biafra Will Break And Niger Delta Wi Also Break by stebell(m): 3:46pm On Feb 20, 2021
Ebitimi44:
From the looks of things, we Ijaws had been the first tribe to officially reject Nigeria, I think amongst the three major tribes, the Igbos had been fair enough.

Igbos Eastern Region Cited the Refinery in PH, a city that would have served all most tribes of Niger Delta, Igbos had been in the forefront of Nigeria independence, so it could have been fair that Capital of Eastern region be in Enugu or Igboland, all the three major tribes had their regions capital in their major cities so why do we expect that the capital of the East will not be in Igboland...

Most people think it is the destiny of the Ijaws to see the Igbos as rivals, well I may not see them as brothers but they are our good neighbours, if Igbos wanted they could have used our oil as bargaining chip during the war but they did not go that part, from the look of things, Igbos listen more than the three major tribes, within the whole declaration, Adakar borrow lived when Igbos was in charge but few moments of romance with non eastern tribes and he disappeared, even our oil wells are not hijacked by the Igbos.

The Bayelsa where I live, there are more Igbos in Lagos than in Bayelsa, so let's bare our mind, what is our beef with the Igbos, if Nigeria divides, Biafra will also divide and Niger Delta will most likely also divide so at the end we will be left with our old neighbours the Igbos as tribal neighbours so what's our real beef with the Igbos.

The beef with our Igbo brother sterns from the fact that they want us to join them without knowing anything about the alliance just like Nigeria.

If they can't bring the different tribes together for a discuss, I don't see any future with such alliance.

Igbos are good people, they are doing great in every facet of life but the urge to drag us into what we don't know is what we are resisting.

Wenger is the problem with Arsenal not the players and until he leaves, the club will never make a statement when comes to winning the EPL again.

I have gone back to where I took the device but they said I should pay the sum of #2500 since mine came with a memory card. I have gone to the above address Port harcourt but no one then to attend to me. What should I do?

Please continue doing the great job you have been doing here.

Go and watch the discussion between Elumelu and VP Osinbajo at the NESG day 1 session
Tony Elumelu (one of the players in the electricity sector) himself admitted that the privatisation done by Jonathan was flawed
But the present government cannot reverse it to avoid setting a precedent

It is one thing to hate the current government and another to set a personal standard of being truthful at all times

So to you, it is justified that the workers are sacked simply because someone said it was flawed.
I know you stand for truth, let them give a reason why they are being dropped.
And just so you know I don't hate the govt, I am just worried that since they came in, it has been retrenchment, retrenchment and withdrawal of services. That's all
