Hello everyone, FTM hope I am welcome. Please I need your help, my babies are 8days today currently in NICU. Was told to be expressing breastmilk 2hourly. But my problem here is that I'm not lactation well, I barely manage to pump 20-40mls. Is there anything I could take to help out...... Please

BS! BS!
Got married in 2011, waited, waited and waited for pregnancy to come, months ran into years pregnancy wasn't forthcoming.

I and DH finally decided to do IVF, first attempt failed, second failed as well. To God be the Glory the third attempt was successful. Did PT Jan 1 and got a positive results, was super excited n prayed for a smooth journey

First trimester was smooth, aside weakness and tiredness. No vomiting, no nausea

Second trimester was something else, had dehydration headache, took malaria drugs thrice, vomiting n nausea was on n off, took drips, could hardly sleep at night, was given diazepam injection to make me fall asleep, as God could have it we progress to next stage

Third trimester was abit smooth, felt fetal movements more alongside with kicks,could barely walk, heaviness was on another level, also had to treat malaria twice oooo coupled with exams I wrote, which I think led to preterm contractions
At 32weeks started having preterm contractions and difficulty in breathing, vomitted as well and appetite was zero...I was admitted,vaginal examination done and cervical effacement has taken place, God is so faithful pregnancy was carried till 34weeks, despite placed on drugs n complete bedrest contractions still persist

Emergency CS was carried out on Wednesday morning 28/7/2021 to a live delivery of a baby girl (weighed 2.1kg) n baby boy( weighed 2kg)
They are currently in SCBU and by God's grace are doing great and responding to treatment.

All Glory belongs to God, just can't thank him enough for changing my name to mama ibeji, after 10years God Almighty wiped my tears and wore me a gown of joy, happiness.

I wish my team(August mothers) and others mothers a safe delivery, there shall be no loss, you all shall carry to term in Jesus name.

We are fine by God's grace, babies are currently in Special care baby unit. We are still on admission. Pls do bear with me with BS. Will do so when I'm better

Happy to announce the arrival of my twins( female n male) at 34weeks through C/S. their birth weight are 2.1kg female n 2kg male......pls will update later still recovering

Good morning, pls have been having false contractions for 4days now. Was placed on drug still yet the pain is still there. Currently now there is nothing I put in my mouth that I don't end up throwing up, can hardly walk, finding it difficult to breathe cos of pressure on my diaphragm. Really don't know what to do. Everyone is saying it's normal I should endure since my EDD is close

I dey ooo, still recovering from the stress. Exams was a success, grateful to God. Not that worried ooo, just abit concerned. Their weight on my pelvic region no be here, both are already cephalic. Thank God say after July na August . Really can't wait

Good evening everyone, congratulations to our latest moms .,.I'm a little bit concerned with the way my babies are fast growing, 3weeks ago the male weighed .9+ while the female weighed 1.1+ now they weigh 1.5 n 1 .8 respectively at 31 weeks. Both are cephalic. Athough I have 5-6 weeks left because it's going to be an elective CS. I hope their weight won't end up being so big at the rate they grow

Thanks for checking on us, we are fine by God's grace....indeed pregnancy has a lot of experience. My joy is that every thing that has a beginning must have a perfect end. Can't wait for August even though I'm a porter from September. Roughly 10weeks countdown ooo...which seems far, got no choice than to wait to meet my precious little ones. My EDD is 14th Aug, Also preparing for an exam as well this June, not easy combining both.

May the good Lord continually keep us and our little ones in good health in Jesus Mighty Name Amen

thanks sis, maleria won’t lemme rest, they placed me on drugs and injections, I’m really scared, as I type I’m feeling really feverish, I was even given maleria prevention drugs that’s 3 drugs in one dose yet I still feel feverish. I’m so tired and scared�

How far have you gone...I had malaria in my 12th week,took that 3in one tablet but it didn't work. My DH who is a med/Dr had to buy Lonart DS which I took for 3days n got improved. It is well with you ma

My twinning , it's still far oo...my only prayer now is for God's strength n grace to pulls through. Cos if I continue checking calendar hmmm despite say I still dey 2nd trimester. Abeg when do we start saying we are in third trimester...which weeks abi months. Cos sincerely speaking it's not easy at all. Esp when you have no one close to help you out. Please mamas come to my aid o. I had an episiotomy and was told at the hospital to only wash with warm water. Now the site is swollen and its giving me some difficulties. My mil is a nurse, she told me to add salt and antiseptic to warm water and sit on it. Please whats best I use?

Good morning, get a big bowl or basin ,add warm water(diluted) it either u use salt or deltol add to the water sit in the basin for 15mins. Do this morning n night...you will be fine

Good evening ma thanks for checking on me, I haven't been myself for two days now, my legs became swollen did urinalysis,which was normal as well as bp(Grateful to God). My pcv is 27% any idea of what to take, have been on hematinic oo. I thought this second trimester will be fair but hmmm. Somedays I just want to run out of myself. No appetite, coupled with nausea n vomiting, headache ....finding it difficult to sleep, extreme weakness....I wish tomorrow was August....Kai never knew pregnancy was this beautiful, sweet n stressful. Pls I need una prayers cos I don't know how else to cope.

I’ll like to know what your restrictions has been so far and if your cervix length improved or not. I was just asked to rest so I’ve been at home / bed since I got mine at 15 weeks

Nothing much, I only rested for a week or so, no restrictions or whatsoever. Since I wasn't having any complications.

What the Lord has done for me I cannot tell it all.... I had my scanning done today n the sex of my twins was revealed.... Potential porting team August.... It's XY and XX. God gave me my heart desires..I can't thank Him enough. But my concern now is that the rate they are growing , just 5mths gone. God help me

Good morning mama’s.I will like to know if it is a general doctor that carries out cs operation or a gynecologist.I just found out the hospital that I registered at do not have gynecologist and my aunt is telling me to come to the hospital she works at because they have a gynecologist there but it is farther from my house.How about Normal delivery is it a must a gynecologist must be in charge or just a matron.Am thinking it is waste of time and money to just go and register at a new hospital next week at 38weeks.experienced mama’s please advise me.

There must be a gynecologist present on ground in case of any uncertainty .....

Good morning mothers, my night was a stressful one. Couldn't sleep from 12mn, inshort I woke up from that time in severe waist pain, unable to lie on both sides,was so restless, nauseated and vomiting this morning. DH who is a med said it's normal....Ha ... normal to be in such distressing state. Pls any help cos insomnia isn't funny at all.

Thank you ma for checking on us, we are fine by his grace by weekend I will go for scanning to determine their sexes. I pray it's XY n XX so I can finally zip up. The "beautiful" stress no be here ooo. Just wishing the days could fly n August be here. FTM and my tommy look like I'm in my 7-8 mths.. may the Lord give us the strength and grace to carry till term. Haven't started shopping yet, by will do so by may ending.
