God will punish every Nigerian.. this punishment will not end until we do the right thing… TSTV came up with better package (pay as u go) Nigerians denied it.. May The gods continue to punish Nigerians

Nigerians didn't deny it....before you throw insults, at least get your facts right

DSTV provides an "unnecessary service" that has turned to a needed service that TSTV cannot and doesn't provide.....and that service is what makes DSTV prices very very high.....simple

Is the internet data free?Of course not.
A live football match of just 90mins on HD will consume nothing less than 1Gig.Assuming HD is as cheap as 500/Gig on HD,that's at least ₦15k for football matches alone knowing some weekends alone one may need to watch 6-8 matches. This is just football and just for 90mins o!For internet that may not even be stable.
Despite how painful and regrettable the price increase is,no one should blame MultiChoice. It also remains far much cheaper, more convenient and viewer friendly than anything internet can offer.

That is what is called "kobo wise, naira foolish"....he is trying to save kobo, while spending much naira.....

The cheapest way is viewing centers.....if it is a must that you should see football matches

Asin dey know even want there survival
Every thing just dey skyrocket

There are cheaper satellite TV operators than DSTV in Nigeria......the only major difference is the English Premier League and maybe the Uefa Champions League

What we should realise is that watching the EPL is not a need....it is an "unwanted want"......and that is what makes DSTV subscription crazy......you can live without watching that in your house....there are viewing centers....why you sub lower packages for your wife and kids....SIMPLE

To close the first page of this thread.......
We will like to go back to the discussion we had 2 days ago with the below gentleman, a true Chelsea fan to the core!.

You made a good choice.

We still wonder after over 60 years of independence, we still have to depend on a fellow Africa country for cable/satellite.

There was a country!

The people who depend on them....depend on them for quality football matches.....especially EPL and UCL.....

A Nigerian company would struggle to bid more than the £520m pounds (3 year deal) DSTV has to view the EPL in all the subsaharan African countries (46 countries)....and if they did win the bid with a higher bid, they would have to convince people in 45 other African countries to abandon their DStv decorders for the new "kid on the block", which would probably last for 3 years and go extinct.......

SO YOU SEE THE DIFFICULTY IN THE BUSINESS

HItv, a wholly Nigerian company tried it in 2008, won a bid after outbidding DSTV......DSTV came with a bigger bid after 3 years and HItv went extinct "due to financial difficulties"

So until a Nigerian investor is willing to take this uncalculated business risk that would surely end in loss .....DSTV IS HERE TO STAY

Unbelievable!. I actually agreed with what u said. I only used entertainers to try pass a point that it cannot be completely ruled that there is the possibility of people lying about their age even in the so-called 'spotless west'.
But you completely missed the point and proceeded to display brilliance ignorance.

Nawa for una for this country.

Hahahaha ....sorry jor......but I was just trying to say you shouldnt have even brought Cardi B in the first place to this post

You're right bro, it was just a little reduction for Osimhen and Iheanacho. Maybe just 2years and half reduction sha...But I strongly believe that's not their real age

Unless Iheanacho or Osimhen's father/ benefactor was the head talent scout or coach of the Under17 at that time.....there is no way any Nigerian can be under-17 and go to an under-17 competition..... especially FIFA world cup

Let us be happy for the boys, celebrate them and wish them more success......BUT NO NEED ARGUING AGE.....UNLESS YOU HAVE NOT BEEN INVOLVED IN THE SYSTEM

That's what I'm saying. For a footballer it might be near impossible since records are taken from developmental stages but it's not 100% for entertainers.

Was the post talking about entertainers?

Or you want to force us to continue an argument you didn't finish with a mate of yours?

How does age cheating in entertainment relate to this post?

If a musician or artiste lie about their age...it is to their fans and it isn't official (like you said in another comment to someone).....if my official documents show my official age and i tell the world another age....HOW ON EARTH IS THAT AGE CHEATING? more like "age-LYING" (pun intended)

Is there an under -17 or 19 or 20, music competition?

It is only "age-cheating" when you falsify document and use it for something you are not qualified for age-wise

SO TELL ME AGAIN HOW DOES CARDI SUPPOSEDLY LYING (without falsifying documents) ABOUT HER RELATE To the fact that THE USA DONT FALSIFY AGE DOCUMENTS IN SPORTS

pulisic might not have lied but there's age cheating even in the west. But that one is foneby the state. I men one or two govt top govt official is involved and it's mostly done for entertainers. Do you believe cardi b is 29?, As in she was 24 when she released bodak yellow video.

Ofcos there is age cheating in the west....even though rare....you can't rule out anything.....but most times people do things for a reason.....why would Pulisic has to lie about his age, how is it even possible....when he has started playing in academies from under-7 age grades.....when there is a structure from under 10s....to under 23s when do the player lie?

They agecheat in mostly African and maybe South American football because we don't have developmental plan from childhood....and we cherish "Instant success" to "development"......the core western countries....don't.....so There is no gain in reducing your age to play in an under 17 competition in the USA

That is a road in Lagos state....even if Fayose built good roads in Ekiti state....he would still meet that road in Lagos like that

dont shy away from that. If you agree the vaccines are not working why force people is my question.

Have ever used a drug that did not work for you, yet insist of having it? U cant kill an animal with a knive without spilling blood. You cant remove the effectiveness when talking about a compulsory vaccination.

I did not agree the vaccines don't work or work...dont put words in my mouth....I said that is not my place to discuss....not with many false and conspiracy theory reports

My opinion is that if the constituted authority of a nation has said something that you think affects your beliefs...take them to court (if that is feasible) or resign

NO COUNTRY IN THE WORLD HAS DIRECTLY FORCED THEIR CITIZEN TO BE VACCINATED.....it's true "employer power" they use and even that is subtle......my issue is THAT DOES NOT MEAN THEY ARE FORCING CITIZENS ....IF YOU CANT....RESIGN....NOBODY GO COME YOUR SHOP COME ASK YOU FOR VACCINATION BEFORE HE BUYS GOODS FROM YOU....SIMPLE

Have u forgotten so soon how they said "just use face mask, wash ur hands with sanitizer, and things will return to normal"?
Later d same ppl said " just take d VAX and everything will return to normal".
The same ppl later said "u need to take a second VAX for everything to be OK"

Now, Israel is already giving d third VAX to her ppl.

Its a matter of time b4 they (Nigerian govt) makes it compulsory.
The USA/Australia/western world they are copying have made d VAX mandatory for their citizens.
Its just a matter of time.

IT IS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE THAT THE NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT HAS ALWAYS BEEN "COPY AND PASTE"......what they did is what those western countries did......show proof of vaccination "OR" be tested every week or RESIGN (although not stated)

THERE IS NO COUNTRY IN THE WORLD THAT HAS SAID " BE VACCINATED OR BE ARRESTED"....when that happens we can now discuss whether people are forced or not......and brother, no be every clap dey lead to dance

Where they copied it from, didnt they also make the test free? Which country has successfully brought down their figures as a result of the jab? What is prompting the 3rd jab?

How effective the vaccine is around the world is not the discussion we are having here.....what I can discuss is how wrong it is to "force" vaccination on anybody

So any civil servant that thinks a government he works for has forced him to take a vaccine because of ulterior motives.....he has the option of resignation.......I AM A NIGERIAN CITIZEN and I DO NOT WORK FOR THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.....AM I NOT LIVING MY LIFE?

Ya true....but if the option is not free for the civil servants, then it would then be a Nigerian issue as be have been seen in other aspects of the country

Not any "conspiracy" to force people to take a "depopulation" vaccine

ALL I SEE HERE IS JUST THE VACCINR PRODUCING COMPANIES TRYING TO MAKE MONEY BY SELLING MORE VACCINES......BUT END OF THE WORLD CONSPIRACY ALWAYS HAS HISTORY OF THRIVING IN THE WORLD

So if they can't afford the expensive PCR test and they are conspiracy theorist that believe the Covid-19 vaccine is some sort of Anti-Christ or depopulation scheme.....why not resign?

Why would a sane person want to work for a government he thinks is forcing him to take something that would kill him?

Not everything obviously.... Only the stupid and meaningless ones.

They copied lockdown without copying the sharing of palliatives and stimulus checks.

Now, they are copying enforcement of vaccination when the whole world knows this nation doesn't have enough vaccines for even a third of the population.

So, they only do things to come off as doing things, when in reality they are doing next to nothing.

When you "enforce" something you don't give an option.....nothing was enforced....if the civil servants don't want to take the vaccination no one is forcing them....they should be doing a Covid-19 PCR test every 7 days.....ABI is that a wrong option as well?

They didn't make it compulsory.....they even gave civil servants the option of getting a PCR test result available whenever needed in the case where vaccination Is not done......so they were given an option

It's against the right, you don't force people to take what they want and this should be the least on their priority list. Insecurity and poverty should be their main concern and not shoving vaccine that the manufacturers are still experimenting with donw people's body. Most countries are now putting the vaccine craze on hold due to their new findings and here the stupid govt is making it compulsory and last time I checked malaria still kills more people in Nigeria than corona and nothing is been done about that.

It is also your duty to read thoroughly before making a comment.....

“With effect from 1st December, 2021, Federal Government employees shall be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination........ "OR"............

present a negative COVID-19 PCR test result done within 72 hours, to gain access to their offices, in all locations within Nigeria and our Missions"

If you are a conspiracy theorist and you don't want to get vaccinated
...then you can go for the more expensive option of COVID-19 PCR test whenever needed by the office.....simple

Where in that post did they force anyone to take vaccine?

Wise people dont comment on headline alone....they read the story....so as not to erroneously make a comment

Foreigners have a whole lot of twisted folks. Whoever designed that is definitely a law abiding citizen who strongly believes everyone should be allowed to have séx, regardless of the age. It could even be a movement, with a considerable amount of following. The other day, one was caught trying to fill the reservoir that held the supply of water to the whole county with hard drugs. When asked why, he said he wanted everyone to experience being high, and get to understand that it was the best thing ever.

It was erected on a movie set....Research is what kills Nigerians...before we comment....we should make sure we get the full details....but that hardly ever happens in this country
