It baffles me to see people come online and say there is no evidence....me an ordinary citizen has recordings where he was making threats and giving commands on radio Biafra......even a video of his 2017 order for his followers to "burn down the country" if he was re-arrested

You are reading a "half cut story" on nairaland and you are using it as a basis for argument.....na wah oh.....did you actually read the full police report on trusted british press and the Everton statement?

Did you follow the news right from the beginning?

Conversely, It's you that do not understand journalism. This is too sensitive a case, an initial privacy is accorded the suspect pending further investigations by the police. Even the police can not hastily mention the suspect's name until little evidence against him/her surfaces

Then why would they mention the age and profession and the club he plays for..... effectively making it easy for any one to know the player?

Go and use ur good journalism to find out d name of d player. If name is released& eventually found not guilty, there could be negative repercussions for d player, d club and d newspaper that decided to mention his name

Actually not realeasing the name, but releasing the AGE, PROFESSION and FOOTBALL CLUB was the same as releasing the name...and it caused more harm for other players at the club of similar age

They should not have revealed the age of the player....so a good journalist would just suspect the entire 20+ registered Everton players above 18 years

Everton and the Police actually made poor decisions.....the police said a "31 year old was arrested and released on bail", Everton announced they are suspending a "31 year old for same offences"

In the world we live today....the name or names of the suspect would be known....and seeing that there were two 31 year olds at Everton....look the damage the "hidden identity" nearly did to Fabian Delph..before Everton denied it....And by doing that, they Effectively gave the name of the player

So I'd say "POOR JOURNALISM on the path of the EVERTON F.C. MEDIA OFFICERS"

Everton came out to deny it wasn't Delph and apologized to Delph, they even went further to "insinuate" in their report that he was not an Englishman.

So seeing there is only one other 31 year old at Everton who is from Iceland (not English)

GYLFI SIGURDSSON is now being mentioned by the media....simple....it actually isn't ROCKET SCIENCE
