We don't all pray to the same "entities", maybe you should take your faith away from comical gods and find your own path to the one your soul would find as the true God.

A couple sold their land, brought the proceeds as an offering to the church. The husband brought the proceeds to the church and claimed that it was the full amount of which they sold the said land. This was not true, and like one CCAF insisting that he's fighting corruption, Ananias insisted that it was the whole sum. He slumped like 'Porndei', however he died.

The wife came, ignorant of what had happened, and was corroborating the lie too. Well she was carried away dead too.

Note: They didn't die just because they took part of their offering, it was their money.... They had a right to take whatever part. But their judgement was that they were trying to trick the church ergo God that it was the full sum. I guess cos they wanted to be seen as having given the most sacrifice.

Your prayers may not be answered because prayers are useless and mere wishes. If wishes were horses, beggars will ride.

Prayers are mere wishes to the unbeliever and useless to the unenlightened.

But to those of faith, prayer is more than just mumbling sentences in the believe that an omniscient earpiece is plugged to your desires. Prayer is voicing out your heart to someone you trust knows the best for you, and are submitting that whatever, the outcome, he knows best.

Prayer does not force God's hands. Faith does. Prayer is not an exam set for God that you have to invigilate his progress.
