Please my package arrived at the sorting center in Lagos last week Friday a number was placed on postal ninja along with the name on who call, when I called the number the woman said they will come to my area on Saturday and ever since then I didn’t hear from them and the woman isn’t picking my calls likewise today. Any idea or comment concerning this please

Very big thanks to @noobody...I messaged him to leverage on his experience and to ask whether I will be charged customs duty for the packages. He said that so far as the packages are coming through Speedaf, there wont be any custom duty applied...I am happy that one of my packages has cleared customs and I am getting experience with buying on Aliexpress...I have 3 other packages that is yet to land in Nigeria.

@chris2006 and @Toluene15, have you guys gotten your package or contacted by speedaf?

Bro that's what is happening I pray no one encounters any problem of redelivery with speedaf.
So the thing is in October when my order came into Nigeria and passed custom clearance, they sent it out to the wrong people for delivery twice and the package entered retrieval. Since then I have called sent mail upon mail upon mail, I have called their customer care, they will keep saying I should check back for after 4-5 business days and they will say it's taking so long because apparently priority is given to new packages instead of other packages that need retrieval.


This has been the worst experience with speedaf I have had and there still seems to be no end to the situation in sight


Please if anyone knows anyone in the warehouse or speedaf I can call to resolve this matter I will really appreciate.

Why not go to their office closest to you

Your package just arrived speedaf office Somolu. If the item is for home delivery, the dispatch rider will get in touch with you through phone calls. If it's self pick up, you have to go pick it at their office close to your area.
Nb:
You can use Google map to locate their nearest office.

Please how can one know if it is self pickup or home delivery?

Mine started on 28th that was on Monday same with yours and it is also speedaf handling the logistics…I hope mine will be cleared soon

he doesn't work with customs now, did you read where he said their clearance is unpredictable at this time of the year? You have to relax, you will eventually get your orders if they are with speedaf.

Customs clearance is unpredictable. This period alone is the busiest time for them because there are loads of parckages arriving the country everyday which could result in backlogs of orders .n their warehouse. So they might want to apply FIFO (First in first out) method in the clearance. Therefore , be patient.

Don’t be worried bro…same thing happened to me…since it initially showed you it has been shipped then indeed it is on its way for processing and so on…open the order you will see 3dots down below click it , it will show you track order then you will see how far the process have gone..besides you will get a mail from speedaf on the current operation your order is on going

Even quality products on aliexpress have negative reviews because, people see things from different perspectives. What you need is to check the overall ratings (in %) of the store you're buying from. For me, any store with 90% ratings and upward is good to go.

And to your question, yes you can buy your ssd from there.

What about 87% rating, is that okay too?. There are many reviews both bad and good but mostly good. As for the ssd with more than 90% rating it has only 3 reviews so I am confused with the one to go for. Will need your expertise now�

Please From your experience is it advisable to order external ssd from Aliexpress …the reviews on the product and seller are good but there are negative ones as well but not as much as the positive feedback.
