Kogi Election: INEC Trained Staff And Kogi Poly Graduate Shot Dead

An INEC trained staff and a graduate of Kogi Polytechnic identified as Cooper Fabulous KSP was shot dead yesterday in Kogi State gubernatorial election.

His friend took to social media to mourn him and wrote....

'God have mercy on us in Kogi State Kogi Poly Just Graduate Student Business Administration.  Fabulous Goes home

It not easy to say God bye. Election why do u go with our brother, Course, Friend, Manager.

Fabulous death is a grate lost to business Students and Kogi Student's in General .R.I.I. God No why , we love u but God love most'.

Is police truly our friend...?

Yesterday 14 November 2019 a brother of mine Charles Wigwe picked me up from my house,  we had agreed to go for a site inspection.

On our way going we met some police men attached to Igwuruta police division, alone the Omunwei, Omuechem shell road, they had one of the OPERATION STING VAN, we exchange pleasantries with them,  they didn't stop us or ask us of anything.

On our way back, about fifteen minutes later after the site inspection, one of the police officers stop us and asked us to park the motorcycle( the popular onye'buruebu bike), we did as he has said.

After about ten minutes he hadn't said a word to us as regards to why he stopped us, he was just busy doing his extortion business with the commercial tricycle drivers (keke) and Okada men.
We walked up to him to know the reason why he hasn't said a word to us,  and he ask us to give him money.
I told him we just went to inspect a site and we hadn't our wallet with us,and he replied saying... Since you people don't know what to do go and bring the papers of the motorcycle he also said that the plate number of the bike is inappropriate.
When I saw that my plea and conversation with him is not being productive,  I left him and crossed to the other side of the road.
I decided to call a police officer who is friendly to me, he explained that he's no longer at Igwuruta police division, he then ask me if I know the name of the officer, I told him that I didn't but after brief description he said that he knows him,  and he asked that I should give the phone to the police man who has detained me.

I approached the officer while I was still on the phone,  I said to him, please sir.A colleague of yours is on the phone and he wants to talk to you. Immediately what I got was a blow on my face, I got another,  and another,  consecutively he punched me four times on my face.
I shouted at him asking him what I have done wrong to deserve this kind of beating,  little did I know that his colleagues was sneaking up on me and he sprayed teargas directly into my eyes.
I cried out for help and the other two joined and they started hitting me with sticks,  battens and guns.
I fell on the ground helpless and they continued beating me, the drag me on the  road, they tour my clothes and I was messed up.
After over twenty minutes of feasting on me Charles WIGWE who has been begging and trying to intervene ran to call for help.

When my mum came and saw how I was been beaten up she cried out and fell on me,  then one if the officers sprayed the teargas directly into my mother's eyes.
When they saw that people are beginning to ask questions and cluster around the scene,  they decided to throw me into their van and drove me to their station.

To summarize the story, now I have a dislocated ankle,  bruises all over me,  head ache,  neck, chest and waist pain.

I need your opinion on this..Should I let go?
Or should I sue the police for this'.

According to the report shared by an online user,a heartless lady killed the son of a woman in Imo State because the woman exposed her after she stole from one family.

She promised to revenge after she was exposed. Below what the online user wrote....


'This lady that is carrying this baby boy, used cutlass and Burchard him, only because the mother exposed her when she went to steal something from one family, and she said I must revenge, and latter do they know that she want to kill the small boy that know no sin, and the boy is the only son, while the parents have gone for family planning, because they have too many girl's in search of baby boy, but now? This happened in Ihiteuboma Ikpere ejere Okigwe local government area in IMO state'.

A mother today killed her 3 children in Awo Idemili, Imo State.

According to her mother in-law, the woman in question told her husband Emeka Ajoihe to go for a vigil while she stays at home with the children and immediately the husband left for the vigil  she locked the door.

Before the husband could return from vigil at about 12pm,she has stabbed her 5 to 6 month baby,her 2yr old daughter and 3yr old daughter.

The baby boy of 5 to 6 months and the second daughter were already dead when he came back but the third daughter was rushed to the hospital.

Unconfirmed reports say that the third daughter has also died

Nurudeen, a resident of Dawaki in Abuja, directly opposite Citi Polytechnic Abuja was electrocuted while trying to vandalize AEDC armored cable.

He was electrocuted on the spot. AEDC and police officials came and brought him down. The police says they are investigating the matter.

Rev. Father Felix Ezeaka has been abducted in Manyu division,Cameroon.

The Nigerian priest was taken in Mbakang village shortly after Sunday mass yesterday.

According to report,Rev. Fr. Felix Ezeaka who has been offering worship services in the bushes to  IDPs has been repeated harassed by the Cameroon military for being too close to the suffering people of Ambazonia whom they considered as terrorist. On Sunday in Mamfe  which  has been under heavy Cameroonian military presence saw suspected proxy forces of the Cameroon government arrest the priest soon after mass  ended at Mbakang.

Some reports say he was abducted by unknown men while others said he was arrested by soldiers.

Prior to his abduction,there have been rumours of  his objective criticism of the activities of both the military and restoration fighters in Manyu division. Rev. Father Felix Ezeaka  has been the parish priest of Afab in Ejakam community for two years.

The bishop of Mamfe has not issued any official statement on the abduction.
