Hi guys, Has anyone done admission interview for the following school? 1. University of Bayreuth : Global Histoty 2. Gorge-August University: History of Global Market Kindly PM or Share your experience here |
ProphetJeroboam:It's most time a requirement for admission, so you need to learn before coming. I doubt if you can self learn up to C1, therefore you might need to enroll in a language course |
ProphetJeroboam:99% of courses in medical line for bachelor are taught entirely in German Language, meaning you must have close to C1 German Proficiency. Also, you need at least 100lvl transcript to get admission into bachelor, only WAEC or NECO is not enough. Just check daad.de to familiarize yourself with the requirement. |
Greenerie:They are all big cities and Job is availble in all. Berlin is more free and open for English speaker, same as Munich. I haven't been to Frankfurt and Cologne but they re big as well |

Nigerians in Munich Germany came out in their numbers to speak up against police brutality in Nigeria. We dey abroad no mean say E no concern us. We are all in this shit together. #EndSARS #EndSWAT #EndPoliceBrutality

Danielhouston:Lol! I don laugh tire I swear. Thanks for the clarity bro. Even if either of us didn't pass the message in the correct form. I expect @DGodson99 to constructively put the record straight and clarify our ignorance but he didn't do any of that, he was just dishing out insult with zero clarity as to what exactly his message are. I know people like him, he can not constructively put any reasonable thing together. Its a pity. |
DGodson99:lol! is it that difficult for you to quote the law? I just openly stated that I want to learn maybe my interpretation to what I read was wrong. You totally don't need these stories you are putting together, just quote and explain then I learn and we all move on. Its that simple. |
DGodson99:For the last time. I have few questions for you. Kindly state what exactly you feel its wrong and should be condemned 1. Is it wrong for German Government to include change of resident title as part of their immigration policy NB: there is strict requirement to achieve that and its not for unskilled job as you claimed earlier OR 2. Its wrong for people (Nigerians and other Nationalities) to explore that provision of the law owing to their personal endeavor. Please don't state your opinion as it doesn't represent any fact whatsoever, kindly back up your answer with statement of fact (maybe quote a verified source). I am open to learn and would be glad if you can educate me more. Regards |
DGodson99:lol! its quite funny how people can not argue reasonably without insult but its okay if thats all you can put together. I won't comment further on this issue. |
justwise:You asked me for a proof and I shared a screen shot of an official document with you. If you insist my assertions were wrong I think I'll have to agree with you as it's not in my nature to go back and forth on issues that are of less importance to me. Everybody should follow whatever they believe is in their best interest as long as they act within the confiment of the law. The bottom line is "do not break the law" |
justwise:I'm sure I didn't state anywhere that the system encourage students to abandon their studies. My point is that change of resident title is allowed simple

Solid 8months and still counting |
Let me quickly say this. I personally would not advice anyone to quit study and started hunting for job. However, it is obvious that Germany need more working class immigrants especially in those unregulated field to contribute to the economy through payment of tax and social securities. Germany doesn't not run a pension scheme like Nigeria where pension fund is kept aside in a safe, they run a system where the current working populace pay those who have retired and the flow continues like that. As a student you contribute almost nothing to the economy, it's even worse when you keep changing schools and didnt finish the master on time. In as much as you want to condemn the act, note that the system permit it and in fact has a very smooth path to change your residence status. A friend confirmed that from one of the staff at the Munich foreign office. So, doing stuff that is totally permitted by the immigration law shouldn't be seen as bad. |
suleyoung:AM: Approval Mail |
suleyoung:Not a problem |
suleyoung:MSc management or Management and Technology? They are two different course. |
Basalt:I totally agree with your point, in as much as I understand that study generally in Germany is very tedious, studying in one the technical university here is far more tedious especially if hustle full your mind, you need 100% concentration to succeed in any of those universities. I'm studying at TU München and I know how it is. |
Mabellv20:To the best of my knowledge, there are opportunities for every field in Germany, maybe not in equal proportion. The only barrier to some of those opportunities is "German Language" not as much required in some field though especially IT related. Most Nigerians believe that after school will sort itself out, I think the first goal should be to cross over first and every other things follows from there. |
Kenneth10110:It depends on the means you want to use, I'll suggest you follow this thread https://www.nairaland.com/5621308/part-8 to get yourself familiarize with the process. In absolute term, 4.3m should suffice. |
Alpheziz:You are welcome bro. |
Acuna91:I'm in Germany, you are welcome to ask questions. |
Alpheziz:Your chances of getting working student opportunities with your skills is high. Working students really don't require practical experience but some background knowledge on the field you want to function. As regards the language proficiency, I really can say much about Bremen and Cologne on how diverse the city are but city like Berlin and Munich have lots of opportunities for English speakers with IT skills. |
So I had two lecture from monday till today, they were really good experience for me, all the lecture materials are readily available online, one can always download before coming to class. German education system is tough but its very interesting. In my case, you are given the opportunity to select which courses you will like to go for, ofcourse there are minimum requirement but one can choose those course as they like. Later in the evening today, we had a get-together party organized by the International student adviser (self Paid) so Local man took 3 jar of beer which cost 12euro, but trust me, the beer tasted really good. So I was going home around 11:30, naso U-Bahn stopped me half way, i guess they have close for the day. so I took a bold step to go for bus, I took bus to "Olympiazentrum" different from my usual route, I lost small sha (googlemap really mess me up) but Iater find my way. I am enjoying every bit of Munich Germany. Very interesting place to be. |

|
