All I know is that whatever kanu may be preaching, when the repercussions come, it's the ibos that will suffer for it and not the rest of the country. Let the fool continue to sow his hatred seed.
A million people that died in the civil war will be child's play compared to what is in the offing.
If you think Nigeria of 1960's is the still the same with the current one, then you're even more silly than I thought.
The federal government chose to ignore him because, arresting him will only make him more popular than he already is.
So, don't get a High BP, we're going nowhere.

@Bold: Many Nigerians (including the Yorubas) condemned the comments of the Oba, like we did those of Edwin Clark, Dokubo and others during the elections. But that does not take away the fact that you have to respect the King, his kingdom and his Throne. Even when the Obi of Onitsha publicly cursed Ngige at the Ofala, did you hear anyone abusing the King and his throne?

Planting Hate in Aligbo is not a solution to our problems and anyone doing so does not have the interest of the generality of Aligbo at heart.
You be mumu o! Ngige na yoruba man?
The Obi of Onitsha cursed one of his own and not people from another tribe!
There's a damn big difference!
Fricking hypocrite!

So because I don't agree with you on your feministic shyt, am now a woman beater eh?
Till you divorce your husband and change your moniker then I take your stance on feminism seriously.

Moreover, I decided not to quote you for sometime now because you trade insulting words a lot even when the person you insult don't behave in same manner towards you. The fact that I don't trade words with you, even when I should, is enough reason to show you that I respect women but not the the point one gets mad enough to hit me tho..

Rubbish. ...you are so backward...still living in the stone age. Do you mean a woman should not visit a man except they are going out? So if a friend of yours who is a girl come to your house, you will rape her? Grow up..times has changed. ....you and your likes should thank your stars you live in a jungle called Nigeria, you would have been in jail for your warped argument. Just stay in your "ojuduwkumaka" village forever.

Yes I have gone to several guys house that aren't my boyfriend.Maybe I am lucky because since I was never raped, they are of sound mind and not rapist. My best friend in the university is a guy. THERE ARE GUYS AND THERE ARE RAPISTS.
Well...I'll have to agree with you.
I was wrong for partially blaming the girl.
Those guys had no reason to do what they did, cos they betrayed her trust.
There are indeed guys and there are rapists.

For all those trying to justify the actions of those animals by blaming the girl, I pray it won't be your wife or daughter some day o. I would be glad to hear you blame your wife/ sister then o.
- she knew that her colleague was toasting her, yet she continued to go to work.
- she knew that her classmate was scoping her yet she continued to go to school.
- she knew my friend's son liked her yet she let him into the house while we were out.
- she knew my cousin who stays with us likes girls and watches mojo yet she stayed at home with him while we were away.
You're completely out of point!
The places you mentioned, the people there had no choice. But even that, a married/single woman can quit her job or report to the authorities, if her boss harasses her sexually.
Likewise the others.
The girl had the option of meeting those guys in another place aside from their home, but she chose not to.
I could remember when I was young, my mother would warn my sister seriously, not to go to any man's house, whoever that person might be.
Prevention is better than cure.
Like I said earlier, with a smart lawyer, those boys can get those charges dropped, even though they're guilty.

Okay, I'll leave you alone.
But think about it, the girl messed up.
I don't condone rape and if it were my sister, I won't be happy with those guys.
But I'll be mad at my sister for going to a man's house(a guy who's not even her bf), at any time of the day.
It doesn't make sense.
Let's be sincere, would you go to a man's house who is not your bf, alone?

He gave his opinion which I think might be true and you're insulting him.
She refused to go out with the guy and yet she goes to his house by 9.30am.
Yeye dey smell.
Why would a woman be friends with 3 young men, to the extent of going to their house alone?
Is she not silly and foolish?
If those guys get a damn good lawyer, they're wining that case.
I'm not in support of rape, but that girl messed up big time.

You build up (wards) when there is no land.

You build wide when there is.

all things being equal!
Story! How many brown roofs do you see in Onitsha?
Building wide indeed!
For once, you guys should accept that aside from Lagos, other South western states are below average.
No need over-hyping like your people always do.
Culture › Re: 10 Common Misconceptions About Ibadan. by steppin: 12:44am On Jun 20, 2015
MrNiceGuy5:
Buildings in the east were formally brown roof but people started breaking all those brown roofs in onithsa to build 4 to 5 story building because you guys don't have enough land. But in the west, we don't break brown roofs building instead we move to another settlement in the same state to develop it. That is why you will see fine building even in that same ibadan that has brown roof.
Kai! The sorry excuses you guys give sometimes, gives me the jitters!
We don't have enough land and that's why we build 4 to 5 stories?
Where did you get that idea from? I guess you can say the same for places like New york with skyscrappers.
Ibadan has brown roofs cos yorubas depend on govt heavily. Most of them are civil servants.
How many civil servants can come up with 35-40 million to build a 4-5 story building?
All the 4 to 5 stories in the east are built by individuals. Business men mostly.
Yorubas take 2nd in poverty rate after the abokiis.
So, spare me that bullshit about having a vast area of land.

Where you came from, are there no brown roof? no tribal markings? or accent? abeg forget that poo, you are just attaching negative attention to Ibadan cos of your petty hatred.

let's assume all this are peculiar to Ibadan, and no other place in the world share this attributes, did anyone forced you to come to Ibadan, or set up your businesses there? Why not stay in your white room city and stop these stereotypes.

Ibadan is a force to reckon with, brown roof or not, tribal mark or not. it has always been and will always be. so, go and fuc-king hang yourself.
See idiat! Who the Bleep wants to live in Ibadan?
Which force you wan reckon with? The lack of toilets in most of the houses?
I never see better place na brown leaking roof area I go settle.
Waka for there! Who send you? Mumu!
