Please come to Canada if you can. Ignore anyone discouraging people from progressing and making solid plans for their lives. Why should you discourage people from going to where you have gone to, simply because you failed or think you failed. Canada is a land of opportunities. I believe with hard work and God on your side, you will succeed. Read what John Zibiri wrote about Nigeria. "I worked and lived in Abuja for 18 years. I ran my own private company from 2001 until 2014. Two million of the likes of Buhari cannot change Nigeria. Everything is wrong with Nigeria. The Director won't give you contract except you pay up front . The banks won't give you loan except you concede a certain percentage. The man supervising the contract won't pass the job except you play ball. The clerk won't pass your file for payment except you rob his palm. The accounts department won't raise your payment voucher or cheque unless you see them. I can go on and on. The worst thing is that it has become a norm that nobody sees anything wrong with. If you think otherwise, they begin to think you are sick and not normal. If you try to stand in their way, you put your life at risk. If you get killed there is no justice system in place to seek redress and bring the perpetrators to book. The police is corrupt , the Judiciary is the same. Even the religious circle is not spared. Everything in Nigeria revolves around corruption. Nobody cares about anybody. No law and order. I looked from my left to right, everybody is only desperate about one thing "money". They will kill anybody and anything that stand between them and money. I am an electrical engineer with MNSE and COREN. The system don't care about my qualifications. Distribution and transmission jobs are given to alhajis, pastors, friends and relatives without any basic skills. I started asking myself, how do I convince my kids that education and hard work is rewarding? When fools, agberos and touts are running the country from the local govt to the Presidency. Is this what my four sons will also go through? In 2014 I decided I have had enough. I decided I was leaving. I migrated to Australia with my family. Don't put yourself in harm way for any reason. The problem of Nigeria is in the hands of Nigerians living in Nigeria. Try starting a gate house in your village, everybody wants to profiteer from it. The bricklayer, the carpenter, the mason and even your brother who claim to be supervising on your behalf. They are corrupt, morally bankrupt and selfish. Everybody there thinks about himself and nobody is thinking about Nigeria . You don't have to be the one to go there to change anything. Let those under the hammer start the revolution." |
Nigeria needs to make laws that are severe, so that wickedness will reduce in the land. |

Please let's stop all this bickering, it will not take us anywhere. What happened to the Handshake across the Nigeria initiative? Such a wonderful idea should not be left to wither away |
Feezeel: IELTS no try. The exact score my spouse had this time with BC is what she had with MOD on the 30th of June.L 8.5 R 8.5 W 6.5 S 7.5. Nothing changed after remark. We will just continue with PNP. |
I am beginning to believe that MOD IDP are fraudulent with submitting EOR. My wife submitted an EOR on the 16th of July 2018. We contacted Australia via mail on Tuesday 24th of July 2018 and they replied saying that they had not yet received the EOR. They even said that they were supposed to have received it within one week of submission. Today we contacted Australia and again they have confirmed to us that they are yet to receive the EOR. I will advice that anyone doing IELTS should be wary of MOD IDP. |

My wife applied for a transcript in Olabisi Onabanjo University since last year September and it was just sent last week after 8 months of travelling back and forth. We paid 50k for the transcript and also had to pay 15k for FedEx now WES has sent verification back to the school I don't know if it was an email or a parcel. |
Shalomc:When I was abroad, it was for studies. No one just hops into a plane without a destination in mind or a purpose. Visas are given based on reason. |
Nigeria is a failed state, even those acting patriotic know the truth. Canada is the way forward for anyone who really wants to live and Nigeria is for people who think that they are actually living when they are merely existing. I am very sure that people who are saying Nigeria is a fertile ground have never lived abroad for at least 2 years, if they had, they will understand why Nigerians travel abroad and never want to come back. Even Pamela that is tweeting all that garbage will prefer 'suffering' there to untold riches in Nigeria. I have tasted both worlds and I can confidently tell you that Nigeria is in a coma with no signs of gaining consciousness anytime soon. Pamela is just a failed detractor |
Just saw this. https://www.pmnewsnigeria.com/2018/05/05/canada-desperate-to-stop-nigerians-from-coming-to-country/ Crooked Nigerians are good at abusing opportunities, and making difficult for the reasonable ones to access the same opportunities for the right purpose. |
I shall receive my PPR in this thread 4 by the Special Grace of God. |
obstead200:You are writing like someone who did not pass through the four walls of a Nigerian university. Are you insinuating that sexual harassment did not occur or what exactly is your point? What is your reason for trying to defend a lecturer that was alleged to sexually harass his student with proof? Some other persons have identified him as one who did same to them and you are advocating for him. Even if the girl failed is it enough justification to sexually harass her? Please read https://www..com.ng/oau-graduate-alleges-professor-richard-akindele-also-asked-sex-student-20-years-ago/ |
There is a lot of disorders on our roads because even law enforcement agencies are the chief law breakers. How do you explain a police vehicle following one way and still intimidating you that has right of way. If there will be sanity on our roads, then it must begin from the top. If our leaders have high standards of decorum on the roads, irrespective of how many cars they have in their convoy, then the populace will follow suit. |
BC guys are wicked oo. After waiting patiently for 82 days for Ielts remark . The main reason for remarking (Writing 6.5) was not achieved. It remained unchanged. The one I did not even care if it increased (Speaking 7). Was bumped to 7.5. This is really annoying |
youseuph:Have you finally heard from BC, what was the outcome? hope it was positive. Mine is past 11 weeks and I have not gotten any mail from BC. |
