I got encouraged here, so I'm also back to encourage another yet again... On IELTS

1st attempt: LRSW - 7.5,8,8,7
2nd attempt: LRSW - 8.5,8,7,6.5

Requested EOR on Speaking and Writing and after 10 weeks, my results came:

LRSW - 8.5,8,8.5,8. CRS did triple long jump from 374 to 424!

Well, when i received the EOR, I started crying (LOL). I really can't say what happens at BC or why it happens, but if you know that you know that you know you did better than what you got (in speaking and writing o), request for a remark. It may take time (10 weeks no be here sha), but at the end, it is worth it.

Congratulations, please when did you submit an EOR? I am asking because I submitted an EOR since November and I have not heard from BC.

I purchased a number and opted for unlimited calls to and from US/Canada.

Just today i had my first phone interview with a Canadian employer. It was successful but unfortunately the job is starting too close to my landing date next week. Am suppose to meet with the manager and suppose to receiving some further training prior to the start date.

Another employer just contacted me for interview. Hopefully this one would click.

Please how were you able to pay for the number. Did you use a credit card? because i tried paying with my GT naira debit card severally and it did not work.

It was the same card I used to pay for my WES.

Please I need to get my wife's transcript sent to WES from Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU). The fee of 50K has been paid over a month now

and they said that they will get back to us. It is over a month now and we have not heard from them. I don't know if I can get the contact of any

person in OOU that could be of help. It is only the transcript from OOU that is delaying her ECA report.

This must be rejected by Nigerians

Must I evaluate my Bachelors degree when I have Masters degree?

I was given a copy of my transcript and certificate when I did my masters abroad. Will WES accept it if I send it to them or must it come to them directly from the school?
Please kindly advice.

I did my Masters in an English college in Germany but the certificate was awarded by an institution in Switzerland. Now I'm filling out the wes application, I am confused about which institution to put.

Do I put the awarding institution which appears on my certificate or the institution where I attended classes.

I nominated Supply and distribution Manager on the consolidated list which is my current position in my organization. I have 5 years experience in this position. The Australian institute of management which is the assessing authority requires that I should have a minimum of 3 subordinate managers reporting to me and 3 officers each reporting to the managers. It also requires that I report directly to the owners of the business. I do not meet any of these requirements. I meet other requirements listed. Do I stand a chance of getting a positive assessment from the authorities.

Please I am new on this thread. I am a distribution manager in an MNC. I have worked in this capacity for close to 5 years. I have a bachelors degree in business administration and an MBA in marketing. I want to know if I stand a chance of getting a PR to Canada. I currently work in an mnc. For some time now I have been thinking about starting my own business and I am considering going for a loan from the bank. But I am worried if it is the right thing to do.

I want to use the money to buy a truck which I will attach to a warehouse for better management. Initially I wanted to go for a van but the warehouse people advised me to go for a truck. Their reason being that the profit I'll make from a truck will be enough to cover expenses and challenges faced e.g police, lastma, vio, etc.

I intend paying back the loan from my salary and proceeds from the business.

A friend of mine who resides in Lagos is planning on getting married but is really confused as to where he will stay after the wedding. This is because his Father built a very big house in Lagos with rooms that are UN-occupied. Also the father is late and it is only his mum that lives in the house alone with house-helps occupying the BQ. He wants to go and rent a house somewhere but I advised him that it would be a total waste of money considering the fact that he is the first son of his father and he has a younger brother who is not even interested in staying in Nigeria. His younger brother is abroad. He also told me that his mum says she cannot stay in the house alone because it is too big. Do you think it's fine for him to go and rent a house or is it a bad idea to live with his mum after wedding, Has any of you ever experienced this before. What do you advice.
