plss dont think about the money ooo, not all oil geeks are rich ooo, my elder bro had a neighbour once that worked in chevron, this guy is paid 750K a month, but this guy still lives from hand to mouth, after a week, money don finish, no savings, borow money to fuel his car, etc.......

there are alot of ways to have a fulfilled life as a doctor without going to the clinic or theatre..... and if its money, there are alot of opportunities meeehn, if u know your way!!!!!

I agree witchya , many opportunities exist to make it as Med. Dr outside the confines of hospital wards if you're prepared to think outside the box, but I think my friend wants something completely different from that.

Have you seen some of the yearly salaries of these oil jobbers ? Above 20m per annum??
Unless he's prepared to leave the shores of this country and practice in the US he'll find it difficult to match that.

Anyway the guy you described making 750K must have been a gambler or womanizer or something. I think its still a decent salary any young dude can manage properly.

This is how the system works for a black man in the UK; you're either born into a stable family with good background and doing well at school or at sport.

OR

You live with a single parent or foster parent who you constantly fight with, do poorly at school, can't find work, drink and smoke weed all day. All these take a toll on your mental health after a few years. Psychiatric wards in London are full of schizophrenic Nigerians and British-Nigerians.

This unfortunate man is very likely an outpatient who didn't comply with his meds.

OP , I believe you.
I'm no scholar, but you could have a little more accurate if you said the Yoruba are descendants of ABRAHAM. An ifa priest once told me the IFA originated from his fore-father ABRAHAM.

In Genesis, it is written that God called Abram and he became Abra-ham. So at that point he abandoned his pagan religion and followed God, becoming father of many nations including JACOB who later became ISRAEL.

The thing is not all Abraham's grandchildren, adhered to this new religion and went back to the old ways. That is why paganism is still alive and well.

What do ya think about that ?
