P square musical duo were absent at the Eko Hotels & Suites yesterday after they were blacklisted by President Jonathan’s aides for charging expensive performance fee. The duo were asked to come and entertain guests at the event but when their manager pushed forward a fee close to 50 million naira, they were asked to step aside. Creative Nigeria and Nollywood stakeholders met with Jonathan and PSquare was blacklisted. Sources close to Psquare hinted the invitation extended to them was not to come to a parley with the President like thousands of others invited but to come and entertain guests, a request that comes with a fee. Earlier this year, Peter and Paul Okoye performed at President Jonathan’s adopted daughter’s wedding. I TOO LIKE NAIJA... lols..What do u think? 50M just for 1 stage performance! It’s general knowledge : the fear of soldiers or rather military is the beginning of wisdom. Ask anybody who has ever fallen victim and they would have a very interesting story. Hence this post about nigerian celebrities’s obedience in respect to military camouflage uniform. Musicians such as Ice Prince Chidinma WizKid Choc Boys Jesse Jagz Anne Idibia HKN Gang and others are gulity of this. Well, our celebrities seems to have heard one or two stories and they apparently don’t want to fall victim of it. Nigerian army has reportedly warning entertainers to restrain from using camouflaged outfit to perform or appearing in music videos, well even though the military denied sending such letter, such formats were coded and were gotten by wizkid in july 2014 who updated his instagram but deleted it 30 secs after. no celebrity has been seen so far afterwards in the military uniform. For dose who are still doing it one day yawa go gas. Lol! Let him that have ear hear, and these celebrities have indeed shown that they do have ears. A preacher finished the service one morning by saying, next Sunday, I am going to preach on the subject "LIARS". As a preparation for my sermon, I would like you all to read Mark 17. The following Sunday, the preacher rose to begin. Looking at the congregation he said, "Last week I asked you all to read Mark 17. If you have read the chapter, please raise your hand". Nearly every hand in the congregation went up. Smiling, the preacher said, "you are the very people I want to talk to. Mark has only 16 chapters". # Lol ![]() |

It was double tragedy in a Warri community in Delta State as the mother of five school children who were allegedly sold to a suspected ritualist, slumped and died. It was gathered that the pupils whose ages range between two and eight were sold for N5 million by a tricycle operator, who conveyed them to school. Investigation revealed that the tricyclist allegedly sold the children for N1million each to a ritualist. The inhabitants of the sleepy town of Otokutu, where the incident occurred were said to have been shocked when the sad news spread across the community. Sources told Daily Sun that the deal was blown open when a female friend to the mother of the children called to tell her that her children were not in school. Shocked by the news, the woman ran to the school but did not see her children. She immediately rushed to the residence of the tricycle operator, who the family had trusted so much and met the man moving his belongings apparently in a bid to escape. The man was immediately arrested by youths of the town, who subsequently handed him over to the police. At the police station, the suspect allegedly admitted abducting the five children and selling them to a suspected ritualist from the northern part of the country. Unfortunately, efforts to track down the buyer failed as he was said to have escaped with the children. Overwhelmed by the pain of losing her children, the woman was said to have slumped and died instantly. Her husband was also said to have collapsed and has been receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital. ![]() Source- [EMMANUEL OGOIGBE Warri, Daily Sun]

Hear what Lizzy Anjorin said recently about her conversion to Islam. Christianity is my father’s religion. My name is Elizabeth, that’s where Lizzy was derived. I practiced it for long but now, I am a full blown Muslim. Since I started practicing Islam, I have only been doing it on my own, only those that are close to me understand I have embraced Islam fully. But that doesn’t mean I hate Christianity. I don’t discriminate. Both Christians and Muslims are one before God. If anybody from either of the two religions invites me to a function, I make sure I attend because I believe we’re all from the same God, which is called Allah in Islam. Islam is a religion of peace as against the impression by some people that it’s a blood shedding religion. I love Islam because there is no discrimination among the adherents of the faith. As a Muslim, you can enter any mosque and pray no matter where it’s located in the whole world. No one will ask you whether you’re from this denomination or that denomination. There is unity in Islam. And in praying to God, you don’t need anybody to lay his hands on you before your prayer is answered. Especially, if you know how to wake up at night and render personal supplications to God, He will surely give you the reward for doing so. You’re free to pray on your own and you have the confidence that your prayer is accepted so far you have good intentions. All these I do personally and I constantly enjoy the reward for doing them. Everybody is equal in the sight of Allah irrespective of whether you’re Mr. President or governor, whether you’re a billionaire or poor man. We’re all equal. I really cherish the religion, and there is no going back again. Do Christians and Muslims worship the same God? If so why are they different in their modes of operation and why do muslims kill christians?

On Wednesday the 12th of November 2014, the Nigerian Federal Government introduced the new design on the N100 Naira note that will be officially issued on the 19th of December. However, a group is calling an attention to the occultic symbol that looks like a Jewish Symbol on thenew Nigerian Naira note. In a press statement released by the Director of Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC), Prof Ishaq Akinlolu, the group expressed displeasure over the strange symbol on the note. The statement reads; “The Federal Government, on November 12, 2014 unveiled the new design for the N100 commemorative centenary banknote which will be officially issued on December 19. However, the office of the Muslim Rights Concern has been inundated with calls for action on the Jewish symbol on the new note. Nigerian Muslims are complaining that the Arabic writing in Hausa language (the Ajami script) that read ‘Naira Dari’ (i.e. one hundred naira) on the N100 note has been removed and replaced with the Jewish symbol, the Star of David. As a faith-based human rights organisation which believes in the dialogue option, MURIC is duty bound to articulate the demands of Nigerian Muslims, particularly on matters which have to do with imbalance in treatment of the adherents of the different religions governments (federal or state). MURIC recalls that Arabic inscriptions which have always been on Nigerian currency since independence were unceremoniously removed in 2005 from N5, N10, N20 and N50 denominations. They remained on N100, N200, N500 and N1,000 denominations. Nigerian Muslims regard the latest action, namely, the supplanting of Arabic with Jewish symbol from the new N100 as a continuation of the campaign of elimination by substitution against Arabic language and, by implication, against Nigerian Muslims. It is well known that a large section of the Nigerian population use the Arabic Ajami and removing it from the new note will deprive millions of users of the Arabic Ajami of the ability to recognise, identify and use the new currency. Furthermore, putting the Jewish symbol on the new N100 falls short of international standard, as currencies worldwide are designed to suit each nation’s culture and history. Where does the Jewish symbol fit in? Which Nigerian community speaks the Jewish language? The insertion of the Jewish symbol is, therefore, clannish and parochial. It is tainted with undisguised religious fanaticism. There is nothing wrong for our president to like Israel as a nation, but it is another thing entirely to openly and brazenly promote Zionism at the highest office in this country when we are still struggling with the last vestiges of colonialism. Nigerian Muslims are becoming increasingly suspicious and very uncomfortable with the actions and inactions of President Jonathan. Firstly, in spite of the preponderance of Muslims in the South West, he appointed no single Muslim as minister in the whole region for almost four years. Secondly, he marginalised Muslims in the deliberations which took place in the national conference by appointing a meagre 189 Muslims as against 303 Christians. Thirdly, Mr President saturated the security system in Aso Rock with Israeli security operatives, a nation well known for its animosity towards Muslims. The supplanting of Arabic language with Jewish symbol is the fourth among Jonathan’s anti-Muslim policies. If once is happenstance, if twice is a coincidence and if the third time is enemy action, what do we call the fourth time? We are sick and tired of our president’s hatred for us. He openly confronts Muslims and goads us to challenge him. “But we will not be provoked. Neither shall we be intimidated by executive maladministration. As apostles of dialogue and advocates of peaceful coexistence, as tax-payers, voters and citizens of this country, we hereby ask President Jonathan to explain the Jewish symbol on Nigeria’s money. We also demand to know why the presidency could not employ security experts from neutral countries like Britain or France instead of Israel, which is a sworn enemy of Muslims. Mr President may also deem it fit to tell us if there is no correlation between the Israeli security experts in Aso Rock, the Israeli caught with Nigeria’s N9.3 million arms money in South Africa and the Jewish symbol on the new N100 note. Mr President sir, are you not gradually selling Nigeria to Israel? Are you sure this will not attract the wrath of Israel’s enemies to our dear country? Can this also be partly responsible for the viciousness of the Boko Haram phenomenon? Many Nigerians believe the symbol has nothing to do with Israel. Nigerians on the social media are saying that the symbol look like Illuminati pyramid picture on the US dollar. May God help us.

Last week, report has it that the YMCMB cofounder is not paying his employees, partners and contractors over the years. Bryan Williams “Birdman” has been hit with multiple lawsuits in order for others to receive payments they were owed. In a recent interview, former business partner of YMCMB explains how Birdman was held up at gunpoint and forced to apologize to her. Wendy Day helped broker a $30 million distribution deal between Cash Money and Universal. Wendy claims New York rapper Freddie Fox ran up on Birdman with a gun and forced him to call her and apologize for not paying her. “At one point, one of my artist friends bumped into Birdman and put a gun to his head and made him call and apologize to me, which he did,” said Day. “[Birdman] called me up and said ‘oh, your friend just pulled me out of Hot 97 and I’m here on the street, on my knees and I want to apologize to you.’ I really didn’t care about the apology. I wanted to know, why would somebody s**t on someone that changed their life for the better?”
