Cheer up. You can still get your application approved. Unless your tuition fee is 15K per year, 30K is insufficient for 4 semesters. Also, the 22M in your account covers one year of living expenses. So, how do you intend to pay for the subsequent year? So, the funds are insufficient for a self-sponsor going for a 2-year program. If you are sponsoring yourself, you must have the tuition fees and living expenses for the duration of your program unless you can demonstrate a reliable source of income while in Canada. On the other hand, if you are using a sponsor, you can show just the cost of education for one year, regardless of the duration of your studies.

I appreciate your response. So like how much should my POF should be, knowing that I have a study loan of 30k dollers and the program is 20months. I will appreciate your inputs.

From your explanation and what I got, you're doing 20 months study program and your POF is 22m. This isn't enough for the 2 years study program you're going for. You need at least 44m POF for the 2 years study program.

I am seriously down now,need your advice. I checked my portal yesterday and realised I was denied,one that I didn't prove I will return home and 2, that I don't have sufficient funds.

Permit me to give a detailed explanation. I was denied Visitors visa in January this year, though that was not much of a problem because dollars was very high then. I applied for my student permit like 3weeks ago with 22million as my POF. Why 22m? I got a study loan of 30k dollers from MPower,which covers my fee. Mind you,I am going for master's in project management which could take about 20months. I did that 22m because my fee was out and I have a flight reservation.

However,I allowed my POF to be 3weeks before I applied,and I removed the money the week after I submitted my application.

I need guru's in the house,what could have been wrong with my application? Is there something I should have done I didn't do? I even wrote a letter of explanation to back my POF,just to make the application stronger. I am seriously depressed now,just staying strong. I need advice please.

I have this few questions and will love if the house can answer the questions according,I will be glad. I already have my admission and secured a study loan, covering the total of my tuition fee,aside that, I have also paid my deposit.

To this end, I did a POF of 22m, since other areas have been sorted. Is the POF okay? Myself and my fiancee will be getting married after my application and she will apply after my decision. Will it not raise questions when the 22m left my account and suddenly came back during her application? Or should her POF be done in her account when the time comes?

Note,I intend to say I sold a property, reason I got that funds and balance of 10m will be paid later. This has been done by my lawyer that the buyer of my property is still owing me.

I included this to cater for my wife in the future,so that explaining our source of fund in my account.

Note, I have a visa denial in January of this year when I applied for a visitors visa.

Morning house. My visa application was not approved. I applied in August,did biometrics in September,21st to be precise. But that's just by the way. Special thanks to supporting comments I have gotten here. My biggest pain is not applying myself,I knew nothing about Canada as at the time I was ready, reason I used an agent. He did his best,but not having direct access to my portal is what I don't like.

However,I want to reapply,but considering other options available. I want to ask,if I reapply, will it take the same number of days as the first or a decision will be taken in about a month or two?

To book one way on a visit visa?? CERTAINLY NO! In fact, they won't let you board from Nigeria. If by chance you just managed to board by LUCK(which I doubt can happen) you won't be allowed entry into Canada but deportation straightaway (God forbid).

Ethiopian airways still bothers and may refused those with return ticket to board to their final destination to Canada from Adisababa layover because it's a VISIT VISA, how much worse a one way ticket If at all Ethiopian airline will let you board from Adisababa to Canada by chance on a visit visa with your complete return ticket, they will tell you to call your family members on a video call and let that fellow show them his or her PR card or international passport with your own WIFI. Imagine you don't have Wi-Fi on your phone They showed travelers to Canada on a visit visa shege pro max even with their return tickets.

Besides, how would you explain to the border officers at the POE on why you booked a oneway ticket after you were able to convince the VO of your financial stability? Don't try it, please 🙏

The further devaluation of Naira made the cost of air ticket to skyrocket this much. Keep checking all the time for price tickets day, night and midnight. I pray you see a favourable ticket fee.

Thanks to everyone here. Asking this question out of curiosity. If I am to book my flight as a visitor to Canada, is it a must to book my return ticket too? Or simply tell the boarder officer you will be booking after the conference. Saying this to safe cost.

Been 3 months you submitted your application has nothing to do with the issuing of your Visa.

You can submit application 3 months ago without doing biometric within the first month so you need to write full explanation if you actually need people's advise and Suggestion and stop giving half information.

I have done my biometrics since the 21st of September.

I think she is a very firm lady when it comes to decision making. Don't entirely judge her believe for now,she may not be fully into you yet,rather,check how the family she is coming from is structured,that is,if the mum has come qualities you desire in a wife. If you have a discussion with her,you can conclude if truly if is a religious fanatics.

I am during dating a firm lady,we went apart for good 2months and she had no choice than just to correct herself. The difference in yours and mine is that we are both Catholics. Give her a break for now and see her reaction. Don't rush into a marriage yet with the situation on ground.
