I have being following you starting from the previous trend. I just have a prayer for you, when you need just one person, thousands shall raise for your sake(amen). |
If I may ask,how do this people be this devilish and still climb the alter to preach about Christ? It so painful how they have given Christianity a false name. May God continue to expose them. RIP to the dead. |
Akure lost it finest comedian and AOP. Good night Sweet Steve. |
Congratulations to you my Lord Bishop. The grace to carry on is my wish for you(amen). |
I did mine August 2013 or so,I am yet to get it. I think they have lost the data and only using delay tactics, so we can come for new registration after this might have expired. For over 4months now that I have applied for my drivers license, no news yet,I have even misplaced the slip in the process of moving it from one place to the other. Nigeria is anyhow state I swear. |
I want something like this Lord. I tap into this blessing. |
I have always said this,we hate ourselves has Nigerians. Just imagine what an average man did to a fellow country man,but if a politician had done this,he would have cried foul...no body is a saint in Nigeria. |
Eternal rest grant unto them O'lord. But some of this riders can be reckless at times. |
Nice piece. I am currently experiencing this, had no choice had to call it quit. It not easy, because she is even threatening brimstone, but I have had enough. Done everything just to make things work, but seems some people are just destined to prepare the uncertainty. During sad and heartbroken, but this phase shall pass. |
This will probably be students of health technology,I guess it the probation exam. Those students don't read,I no them too well. They sleep around and go to one prayer mountain not to far to the school to go and pray for success. Make I no too talk bad about the school, but I no pity them sha. |
I wouldn't have commented on this if not for something I noticed in the picture. just imagine how dirty, poor looking and haggardly dressed those children are. I am sure most of the children don't even no why they are doing what they are doing,or they are promised mere #500. And here we are,a political thug could build this mansion called hotel. It seems being a Nigerian is .... |
Kapeter:pls let always tell ourselves the truth,I don't no of Ogun, but Ondo can not survive even for a day without federal allocation. How Ondo that is struggling to pay salaries survive. pls don't turn this to an ethnic war, Ondo can never and will never,at least for noe survive. |
kay4kay:God bless you. This is what I was actually expecting to see,and some people were forming boss and inspirational speakers. Someone in dare need of job, that is when you want to take your pound of flesh, Nigerians sha. Once more,God bless you. |
This is a big nonsense, and to this end,Always should be ban in Nigeria. My reason is very simple,as at today in Nigeria, being a transgender is still a crime. I there ask,is Always trying to help promote same sex in a country that has a law? Na nonsense Always wan try so. |
airsaylongcon:You want attention, you can continue your rant on your keypad. |
airsaylongcon:noted. However, I no you might want to score cheap popularity with this...You can continue with your keypad. |
I saw this trend about 3days ago that I so much became fascinated that I had to save this page. Saynotocultism, thanking you for sharing your story to at least let some people see the dangers in joining one. I was only able to read to 10,but it was worth my time within the last 3days I have being reading. Special mention to I am Nobody for your continuous contribution. Cultism can never be a choice, the youth should pls desist. I am a graduate since 2015,so if I add my voice to some saying no to cultism, you should no I have seen some instances even thou I am not a member. I remember two particular guys that wanted me to join in year 2011. Today,I am a graduate, but one of those guys I talked about is near mad in the street of Akure today. The other whose father was a pastor ran away from Ondo state to save his head. Youth, pls be wise. |
Do you no I just had this experience few minutes ago? Wanted an haircut. The man that owns the place isn't a professional, but had being barbing for some times now. So I already choose who would barb for me among his 6 apprentice. But I was on haste and needed to feed my birds,so I decided to just barb and leave, with the hope he is now very professional, as he just finished with someone's hair. Na so he signal to me,I said no at first, but when I considered the time,I had a change of mind. I requested for afro low cut, by the time he was done,I can't even cry, complain or be sad. I called his attention telling him what he did isn't good enough, he was even forming boss. Base on the look on my face,he got the message, his boys were even smiling at me...laugh full my belle as I dey type this now self. |
Prettyuche:Thank you very much...I doubt that thou, because she told me she is not bordered by anything. |
Prettyuche:thanks for the concern,no other symptoms, just that I observe she sweet a lot this days. We just came back from hospital again this morning. |
nairalanders,I still need advice in this. pls help me with your suggestions |
Alfred74:Noted,will try and get that or take a picture at daybreak. Thanks for the concern |
Good morning Nairalanders. I seriously need help of medical personnel's in the house. It all started with my mum around February this year. She complained of not being able to sleep, which we initially thought it just a little issue. However, we visited Police hospital in Akure that month and carried out series if tests as prescribed. We weren't getting the necessary solution, couple with the fact that the last time we rushed her there, the response we got was a story for another day. That night,we took her to a reputable private hospital and she became normal a little(her blood pressure was stabilized here). She was discharged 3days later, but complained about not still sleeping. Due to continuous complains,we were directed to meet a psychiatrist who started treatment on her having told him the test and drugs given her prior to that time. She responded to treatment and her sleep became normal but any day she doesn't use the drugs,no sleep(the doctor don't allow us no the name, because he often gave us inside a sack) Fast forward to October, the drugs aren't working on her again, no sleeping pills whatsoever works on her anymore. She left my room few minutes ago,and I felt seriously bad. We have carried out tests and seen at least 3doctors. I do not no if there is anybody suffering from similar thing which is now a thing of the past,or anybody who knows someone who once had similar issue but have found solution,I beg that you pls give suggestion on how you went about it. Pls only serious minded people are to pls comment, thank you. |
I had to login so I can contribute to this. My mum suffered from similar issue, but thank God she is recovering, but I must tell you it hasn't been easy. My advice to you, visit a Psychiatrist doctor. In my mums case,we visited about 3consultant,did heart scans, but the situation remained the same. I believe a psychiatrist will be of help. Quick recovery to you. |
It was just a normal complain yesterday evening when my mum complained about general body weakness. It got to a point that were observation needed to be jettison, and a prompt visit to the hospital became necessary. The Police hospital,Akure was the point of call, and we arrived at exactly 8:19pm. After every check had been carried out,the long wait for a doctor began. Other persons who brought in their patients asked the nurses on ground what was happening, doctors were in the theatre was the response... God bless them, because they are doing their job. It became clear as seconds turn to minutes, minutes to hour's, that there won't be a doctor to attend to patients again yesterday night. I summon courage and told her reason we needed to go back home,by this time, she seems to be calm a little...10:12 was the time by now. Within few minutes we got back home, situation warrant we go back to the hospital, the same Police hospital was the point of call and reason not far fetched, they had all medical records and it will be best she stick to them. I rushed in,met two nurses this time, and pleaded with them there was an emergency, 11:39pm already. They both seems less concerned, but still told them why I needed their attention. The female nurse asked me if I knew the meaning of emergency, because the patient before her can still talk, because she managed to pick her call in her presence. Not minding how furious I was,I answered promptly. She told me I can't get a doctor to attend to her because it not an emergency. Not minding her reply,I asked what an emergency meant, she looked at me without a reply. Again, I asked if only those brought in on a stretcher, or accident are only considered as emergency, she then said yes. I was very furious, but couldn't help the situation than just to leave. I didn't no the conversation my dad had with her,but I was already out of sight. At this junction, I don't no who to blame, maybe the nursing school that trained the nurse, and didn't give a detail meaning of emergency, the system that didn't provide enough doctors, or that encourage lackadaisical attitude of its staff. We have seen cases of people slump without any premonition of death, and if a nurse could give such a meaning to emergency when life is involved, I lack the words to express myself. A private hospital was of help by few minutes to 12am,but if... I was however was able to get the nurse name involved before I left(but kept secret for a purpose). Thank God for life. |
Same was tried on me two Sundays ago,but na old scam na

#NoOwanbetoday# Many had argued that church marriages is not biblical, but of doctrine. However,I love the church wedding so much, but reality of today as shown we spend too much time preparing for wedding and not the marriage proper. As a result of this, the traditional wedding as been looked scornfully upon. Inshort, may brides will claim they haven't done the real wedding if the church as not been conducted. However, with the recent wedding of the Yeyeoduwa,Olori Noemi Oluwaseyi who happens to be an evangelist, had a traditional wedding and no notion of church wedding insight. Many don't even no that as soon as dowry as been paid, marriage as taken place. Many are unmarried today because the groom don't have enough for the "church wedding". To my bride, the day I pay your dowry,I become your lord, and note, no feminism in my house, but I promise to love and treasure you. |
Alepa:Thank you for your response. The land is outside my base,at least about 45minutes,which implies that I need to get myself accommodation to better monitor the farm. On the other hand, every farmer has an area of interest, animal farm is mine at least for now. I plan to add biannual crops too as move to the land. I appreciate you a lot. |
I must appreciate the good work this forum is doing to Nigerians ,and I no it has helped a lot of Nigerians to be self sufficient. I'm a young Nigerian who graduated from one of the South western Universities in 2015 and did my service at a barrack division in one of the South South region of Nigeria. I have always have a passion for farming, that even if you ask me why I love it ,I can't really tell you. To this end,I did a week program at Federal College of Agriculture in Akure in 2016(fisheries) just before I proceeded for my service. I have always wanted to created wealth on my own, seeing the situation of the country and for that fact that my parents are not connected to get me a job. My mum struggled to purchase some lands to assist me with during my service year, with the hope that I will start something on the land, but ever since, capital as been an hindrance. In a bid to raise fund,I started an online business which I was later scammed, thereby losing my saving and little borrowing from friends(just finishing paying this month). I currently plan to go into poultry( or piggery), having just finished my learning few weeks back. Currently, frustration is setting in for me as it seems all isn't going as planned. I have met people, approached my bank but it seems there is no hope in sight for now. Duo still keeping hope, but It telling on me by the day. I no there are people who are of help here, organizations that are ready to assist young farmers with capital and with very very low interest rate. I wouldn't throw away any ideas or suggests on how I can go about raising funds because I have read how members of this forum have been problem solvers to people like myself, which I no mine can't be different. I am ready to meet personally anybody who has trust issues,at least to be sure of my integrity. I await your kind response to my plight. *Note* I am also open to any radio station who is ready to offer any job at least for now, either as a sport analyst, public affairs commentator, or news casting. Based in Akure, but ready to relocate if am assured of the offer. I appreciate you all. Forgive any errors therein, just have to be awake because I can't just stop thinking, my reason for posting it now. |
Jasen1:I just hope she turn a new leave. |
Be the man here. simply call her, seat her down and pour out your mind in the simplest way as possible. But expect a harsh reaction, but make sure your heat it into her hearings. It either you tell her that you need more space, or she need to find a job doing. |
