PoliticsRe: Biafra Will Happen Soon – Ex-niger Delta Militants Declare, Drag Buhari To UN by Stingman: 5:36pm On Apr 04, 2019
“The actualisation of Biafra Republic will happen shortly as the people can no longer remain in a federation that is politically and economically favourable to only some sections...."

-----------------------------------------------------------

This is a plain fact...for the past 50 years, the northern and South western regions have continued to be favored and developed by the Nigerian federal government, than other sections of the country...This is not sustainable, for equity and fairness to all...

igbodefender:
In a recent article published on ThisDayLive.com, leader of thought Reno Omokri has blasted the trend of treating Igbos as unwanted. He described Igbos as ‘palm trees that show there is water in the desert’

He said,

"Igbos are like palm trees in the desert. If you see palm trees, you know water is there.

"If you see an Igbo in a town, you know progress is there. Not as if they go where progress is. They themselves are seed of progress that yield harvests of progress.

"To have a proper understanding of what the Igbo have achieved, consider that every Igbo man, woman and child in Nigeria was reduced to £20 after the civil war in 1970.

"But look at how far they have come since then. They turned adversity to prosperity.

"No ethnic group are as Nigerian as the Igbo. An Igbo builds his family, his house and his businesses in whatever part of Nigeria he finds himself.

"They do not exploit other regions. They expand other regions. It is a disservice to treat them as unwanted.

"Instead of making Igbos feel unwelcome, leaders should welcome them. Anyone who thinks the Igbo really want to break away does not understand economics.

"In 2003, Elrufai revealed Igbos own 73% of land in Abuja. Google it. That is commitment to Nigeria.

"This idea that Igbo come to exploit other regions is unscientific. Igbos create value. They do not take value already created.

"Example, by opening shops, Igbos create value by meeting a need. Without Igbo, the price of spare-parts in the North will be x4ce"

Thomas Sowell, a Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution of Stanford University and a renowned scholar on Races and World Economies wrote that, "Most of the great mindless slaughters of the 20th century -- whether of the Armenians in the Ottoman Empire, the kulaks in the Soviet Union, the Jews in Germany, the I[g]bo in Nigeria or the Tamils in Sri Lanka -- have been slaughters of those who dramatically eclipsed the accomplishments of others."

With an estimated inflow of $25 billion remitted by Nigerians in diaspora in 2018, chief economist at PriceWaterCoopers (PwC) Nigeria, Prof Andrew Nevin, yesterday, said Nigeria's citizens living outside the country are its biggest export.

Nigerians in diaspora in 2017 had remitted N22 billion, making it the highest in the Sub-Saharan Africa region followed by Senegal and Ghana with $2.2 billion each for the year. Currently, the country is in the top five nations in global remittances.

Why does Ogun has more igr more than entire SE?
Why does Ogun state has more IGR more than all SW except Lagos? Ogun state is contagious to Lagos...factories and industries are established there as the location is close to seaports and airport for imports and exports...NESTLE FOODS and others are there. I know many industries owned by Igbos on that axis...

In a different view...Why hasn't the IGR in your SW not able to uplift your region compared to the SE region...Can you compare Awka the capital of Anambra state with Abeokuta the capital of Ogun state?

You're right. That's a real fact!
If South East becomes a country tomorrow, it will have one of the highest population densities in Africa. There isn't much land to waste in most towns and villages.
If Lagos can accommodate as many Nigerians, the land mass of SE won't be much of an issue...With high rise buildings like the pic of Hong Kong attached, spaces will be saved for other purposes...

More of Enugu...these sprawling estates could be used for high rises...and save land...but constant power is needed tp move people up the flats. A small coal-powered plant could be built there in Enugu for power supply...

PoliticsRe: A Call For Ibos To Build World Class City by Stingman: 12:29pm On Mar 10, 2019
Surely this can be done...Igbos could emulate Hong Kong. Even while within China they are able to build their cities...Hong Kong has a population of below 8 million. Enugu could be the city with fast rail lines connecting the industrial towns like Aba, Onitsha, Nnewi and other influential towns...First pic is Hong Kong the others are Enugu...

Imagine these old idiot saying that Igbos planned the failed January 15, 1966 coup in order to make a Yoruba man the Prime Minister when it was an Igbo idiot called Nnamdi Azikiwe that colluded with a Fulani misfit called Tafawa Balewa to put Awo in jail.

See this is the problem of the Igbo man. Unbridled arrogance and uncontrollable chest-beating that makes him feel he is better than others and has nothing to learn from them whereas wisdom is accepting you don't know it all and must, to keep growing and achieving, always drink from the fountain of knowledge others possess be they Istsekiri, Yoruba, Urhobo or Fulani.

How many times must the thread below be shown to you stubborn creatures for you to learn that the Igbo man is all mouth and must begin giving credit to others? You politicians started this nonsense proclaiming themselves supremely gifted and ordained to rule by God many many decades ago as if we are are not all God's children and as if God is bigoted enough to be discriminating amongst his children.

It is Igbos who will brag they are the special children of God who are the most capable at everythjng. Yet others achieve silently, and far more than them, in the background to prove the Igbo man is the most delusion creature on earth. I have learnt Igbos just suffer from inferiority complex and this is why they exaggerate and over-amplify their success while others just get on with succeeding and winning silently as the thread below shows.

Indeed. The slaughter carried out by ibo soldiers against the Hausa and Yoruba leaders must then be because Yoruba and Hausa eclipsed the achievements of ibos.

Igbo man was the richest man in Africa before the civil war; Ojukwu's father who also played key role in founding Nigerian Stock Exchange; NSE

Igbos owned Nigeria and dominated in government, military and civil service before the 1966 coup and civil war, it was after the war that Igbos lost hold of Nigeria in terms of government, military and civil service.

Ojukwu was the first Nigerian military Officer to graduate from the British Royal Army school, google it.

Maj. Nzeogwu was one of the most educated Nigerian army after independence and he was Nigerian army instructor...

Would you bother to read the below from Balarebe Musa...? It is similar. Though I agree people shouldn't blow their trumpet but this fact is generally agreeable!

"...The Igbo are more competitive than the Hausa and the Yoruba. The Hausa and Yoruba bourgeoisie are afraid of this, in particular when there is so much to share in Nigeria. They are afraid of the Igbo because they are not competitive. Igbo are more competitive because they don’t have inhibition. The inhibition of Hausa, the inhibition of Yoruba is not there. The Yoruba can only talk of Oduduwa, the Hausa can only talk to you about empires and so on. But the Igbo are not that inhibitive, they are more republican. You can say largely that Igbo are free thinkers; they are more free thinkers than the Hausa and the Yoruba, which means Igbo can take things on face value, while the Yoruba and Hausa will not. Igbo are more competitive in terms of economic activities. An Igbo man is more competitive than a Yoruba man and an Hausa man..." Balarebe Musa

The Nigerian problem is the unwillingness or inability of its leaders to rise to the responsibility, to the challenge of the personal example, which are the hallmarks of true leadership.

Why can't Nigeria's leader replicate the world class roads, hospitals, transportation and electricity of the western world they see when they
travel to the western world?

How does the corrupt Buhari feel, when he goes to New York,London,Berlin, Paris etc and see what other leaders accomplished. Why do Nigerians leaders choose to keep the country as one of the world's biggest shitholes?
I have asked myself that question...but I can't just find the answer....

If I was made the governor of my state...I don't see why I will not make at least one major street in my capital as the pic you have shown...The next governor will do another street...and the next...In a few years, the whole capital and other roads will begin to take shape like those done. But now I wonder why all the governors are not doing that...Most parts of their state capitals are filth with red earth...and uncovered gutters...I don't know who has cursed black Africans...

Russia President, Vladimir Putin Says: Africa Is A Cemetery For Africans.

"When an African becomes rich, his bank accounts are in Switzerland. He travels to France for Medical treatment.

He invests in Germany. He buys from Dubai. He consumes Chinese. He prays in Rome or Mecca. His children study in Europe. He travels to Canada, USA, Europe for tourism.

If he die, he will be buried in his native country of Africa.

Africa is just a cemetery for Africans. How could a cemetery be developed?"

This thread is meant to bring ideas that will make the region better...Suggestions are acceptable for any state that's not doing well like the others..but that should be conveyed in a way that is not rude, derogatory and insulting.

Please, let's stop actions that will bring animosity and bitterness...

We should be one...I don't see people from other tribes bragging about who is superior than the others...We should be our brothers' keepers.

If people from other tribes try to use Igbo names to cause confusion...they should be ignored and they will fizzle out in no time.

Enugu Government To Complete The Enugu International Conference Centre

Sustaining the legacy projects of past administrations in Enugu State

Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi's administration has grabbed the bull by the horns as it commences action towards completion of the world-class state-of-the-art Enugu International Conference Centre, in keeping with its vision to promote investments and robust climate of Ease of Doing Business to boost socio-economic activities in the state and create more jobs for the teeming youth, among others.

Recall that the World Bank Group recently rated Enugu State as the second most advanced state in Nigeria towards the frontier of global good practices with regards to Ease of Doing Business.

The landmark project was initiated and built to this level by former Governor Chimaroke Nnamani's administration.

Enugu State is truly in the hands of God! #amokelouis

Basically this administration clearly brought to the open that Nigeria was built on injustice, hypocrisy and oppression. We won't go far, if we don't face the hypocrisy of the religious north. Despite the religious hypocrisy it still has the highest abusers of drugs, highest death rate in Nigeria, serious illiteracy, demonic blood shedding, unproductive population who continue to latch to the national purse while contributing little yet causes the nation to expend so much on ammunition because of the brand of Islam they practice. Sharia is beffittng only for the poor and not the elite. Tell me alcohol wasn't served at Fatima Ganduje's wedding. They should be left out of alcohol tax let us the south benefit from our 'immorality' alone.
That's the point.

If it were to be the southern states...the northerners would have convinced Nigerians why they alone should take from the taxes since the south doesn't consume alcohol...

This points to the fact that the southern leaders are culpable and extremely weak.
