Good for Ohaneze... They will soon start to wail about this... The north don't wail..they will simply use sharia movement, BH or Fulani herdsmen to terrorise other weak Nigerians to submission. Ohaneze had kanu to support...but what did they do..?

Kemi Adeosun, minister of finance, says the federal government is working on policies to increase excise tax on tobacco and alcohol. https://www.thecable.ng/fg-increase-taxes-tobacco-alcohol. Recently Nigeria government hinted on increasing taxes on alcohol and tobbacco. VATs and taxes on alcohol runs into billions. We all know that many northern states that practice sharia destroy alcohol drinks and ban them in parts of their states. Recently Kwara ban the consumption of alcohol in parts of their states. Now is it fair for them to gain from such taxes and any increases thereof...from the FG? Kano collects more VAT from this than Lagos state that consumes alcohol. How can Nigeria government continue to rob Peter to pay Paul? Nigeria is a country built on the foundation of injustice, inequality and partiality. |
mbos:I bet you didn't read the whole piece... |
kmcutez:You are not human... When the poor leave Lagos, who will repair your car? Who will pump your tires? Who will sell Yam, tomatoes, beans, fish, etc... to you as Ketu and Oyinbo markets would have closed. You think say you de do others...you de do your self... ...by the way how do you like Lagos during the christmas period? |
jneutron4000:I bet you are typing this from your hidden location in Oshogbo.... ![]() |
angels09:..but Ambode is building Lagos with his family and Tinubu's money, of course... |
python1:Ogbeni, the project is so special because the governor built the dual carriage road as well...Remember that is a remote area...and not Enugu the state capital. Writing out of gross ignorance can be pardoned...so now you know. You will laugh if you know how small is Enugu state budget...but the governor has completed this in this first term.

Does anyone have the full speech of Tillerson when he visited Buhari? |
Firstpage:How do I know that? lol Go to seme border, NNPC, military barracks, Police...the lingua franca could just be Hausa.... |
bamoski:There is nothing you will beleive, except whayt Buhari says: You will still deny it even if UNICEF say you are malnorished and facing starvation.... According to her, statistics showed that 37 per cent of children representing over six million are malnourished. She disclosed that the 17.2 million figure represents 43.6 per cent of an estimated 40 million Nigerian children under the age of five years, adding that 19.4 per cent children in the South-west are stunted resulting from malnourishment. “This is worse than the South-east and South-south but better than the North. And we must do more as agenda setters to keep this issue on national discourse and help reverse the ugly trend,” she said. http://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2018/02/27/17-2m-nigerian-children-suffer-from-stunted-growth-unicef-says/

Firstpage:Not true. If it were, why is that the northerners are everywhere in DSS, Police, Army, Airforce, Immigration, EFCC, Customs, NNPC, etc, etc...and also why is it only the northerners that head those organization? Why do they retire other people from other regions and allow only those from the north to get to the top positions? Of the 36 state police commissioners how many are from the eastern region for instance? Is it not the reason why the easterners make it to the top, globally, but hardly in Nigeria...despite having better qualifications. Remember we are talking of our country here, not any apartheid discriminatory country. |
bamoski:Violent death : 1,351 killed in 10 weeks: North-East remains the killing field with 591 deaths. It is followed by North-Central, 270; North-West, 193; South-West, 136; and South-South, 131. At the bottom of the list is South-East, 30. https://www.nairaland.com/4392086/violent-deaths-1351-killed-10 ![]() |

You don't get it... We are for justice. There is nothing wrong in giving advantage to those who are behind...but we are saying that this principle should apply to all sectors..like giving the easterners opportuinity to meet the north in the military and paramilitary sectors as well. Is this wrong? |
bamoski:Like in Borno, Taraba, Yobe, Adamawa and in Benue? |
QuotaSystem:Just listen to yourself...Since we started this conversation...I have never been in doubt as to how far you have been enlighthened...Going to ABU with quota system...and getting automatic employment in NNPC doesn't mean you have seen everything...For me, though I have better qualification and attended a better school, I can't go anywhere near NNPC...But I can compete in the global arena...like my brothers and sisters in World bank, International investment banks, Goldman Sac, JP Morgan, Microsoft, IBM, Shell, Mobil.. These two are World bank executives...
|
Purewatermeji:Ijebus and Awori...bla, bla, bla...Yorubas are one...but Anioma, Asaba and Ikwere Igbos are not one |
Purewatermeji:Wake me when the cowards pass bill to remove these tanker drivers who are mainly northerners from Tin can roads and and Lagos bridges...
|
bamoski:Stale and useless. |
QuotaSystem:Abooki are those tier one banks? Your illiteracy is the worse form I have ever seen. |
QuotaSystem:The best you can ever have is working in the cash cow NNPC with loads of loot, old man...like Maina of pension commission. That's all.. ...and the poor rankings given to us by your superior military and political relevancy? You jump over that the you would jump over BH mine in the NE.... |
QuotaSystem:...mister you are beneath me in any standard... You are utterly shameless...Have you seen where your military and politccal relevance has placed the utterly hopeless country? A point below the worn torn Liberia..with your 2.2 million barrels of oil per day? Nigeria ranking. Road quality: 127th Airport quality: 125th Electricity supply: 136th Education system: 120th Math and science: 118th Innovation: 82nd Life expectancy: 133rd Security: 130th 1 France 2 Italy 186 Liberia 187 nigeria 188 Democratic Republic of the Congo 189 Central African Republic 190 Myanmar |
kapasi89:You got the drift.... |
QuotaSystem:2 out of 16.... You need more education.. Do you now understand the meaning of being greedy? You are extremely poor in reasoning...and everyone can see it. |
QuotaSystem:All you have ever achieved are FG sponsored...Remove FG patronage your richest blackman will be like Ibeto, whose business was suppressed so that Dangote can go up...Your positions in UN and OPEC are government sponsored, but you are too ignorant to know it... Mention any tier one bank owned by your region (19 states). Your richest man dwells on loans from banks owned by people from other region. You should be reminded of that. |
bamoski:Ask your "angelic and saintly" tribe why NNPC, customs, immigration, police, army, DSS, NDLEA, EFCC are filled with it? Quota system illiterates everywhere... What we are saying is that the same principle should be used everywhere in the system.. |
QuotaSystem:I don't blame you for your extremely poor IQ level. Please check the meaning of "greedy"...and reflect it with these positions in a diverse country like your one "utterly hopeless" Nigeria... When the National Security Council meets, the following are in attendance: 1. Muhammadu Buhari (President) 2. Mansur Mohammed Dan Alli (Minister of Defence) 3. Abdulrahman Dambazzau (Minister of Internal Affairs) 4. Lawal Daura (DG-SSS) 5. Ibrahim Magu (Chairman, EFCC) 6. Tukur Buratai (Chief of Army Staff) 7. Sadique Abubakar (Chief of Air Staff) 8. Mohammed Saliu Usman-AVM (Chief of Defence Intelligence) 9. Ibrahim Idris (Inspector-General of Police) 10. Abubakar Malami (Attorney-General) 11. Baba Gana Monguno (National Security Adviser) 12. Ahmed Rufai Ababukar DG NIA) In what language will they communicate, please? Do they discuss Nigerian security or Northern Security? An expanded meeting will have: 13. Abdullahi Gana Muhammadu (Civil Defence) 14. Hamid Ali (Controller-General of Customs) 15. Mohammed Babandede (Comptroller-General of Immigration) 16. Ja'afaru Ahmed (Comptroller-General of Prisons) |
0monnak0da:Look at a clown that have not sent the killer fulani herdsmen who have ravaged his community to their mother... for training...lol |
bamoski:Quota system semi-literate... You have more population...why not push your people in drove? Unity school cut off marks: Abia – Male (130) Female (130) Anambra – Male (139) Female (139) Ebonyi – Male (112) Female (112) Enugu – Male (134) Female (134) Imo – Male (138) Female (138) South South: Akwa-Ibom – Male (123) Female (123) Bayelsa – Male (72) Female (72) Cross-Rivers – Male (97) Female (97) Delta – Male (131) Female (131) Edo – Male (127) Female (127) Rivers – Male (118) Female (118) South West: Ekiti – Male (119) Female (119) Kwara – Male (123) Female (123) Lagos – Male (133) Female(133) Ogun – Male (131) Female (131) Ondo – Male (126) Female (126) Osun – Male (127) Female (127) Oyo – Male (127) Female (127) North Adamawa – Male (62) Female (62) Bauchi – Male (35) Female (35) Benue – Male (111) Female (111) Borno – Male (45) Female (45) Gombe – Male (58) Female (58) Jigawa – Male (44) Female (44) Kaduna – Male (91) Female (91) Kano – Male (67) Female (67) Kastina – Male (60) Female (60) Kebbi – Male (9) Female (20) Kogi – Male (119) Female (119) Nassarawa – Male (58) Female (58) Niger – Male (93) Female (93) Plateau – Male (97) Female (97) Sokoto – Male (9) Female (13) Taraba – Male (3) Female (11) Yobe – Male (2) Female (27) Zamfara – Male (4) Female (2) FCT Abuja – Male (90) Female (90). |
0monnak0da:What do you think will happen when you lie to decieve gullible people? To clap for you..? |
QuotaSystem:Quota allocation is really affecting your reasoning. Everybody knows that those positions in UN and OPEC were government sponspored, except you. Your ignorance is extremely deep. I repeat...the inequality in Nigeria where mediocrity is preferred to talent, has left nigeria were it is currently...at the bottom rung of every global development index. |

These people are fools. So they are trying to sabotage our efforts at claiming Lagos back from a certain people who migrated in droves to call our city a no man's land. The land use act will make it difficult for them to acquire properties and gradually all of them will go back to the east. Just like the Yoruba language bill, this one has come to stay. Lagos belongs to Yorubas
