vedaxcool:[/s] Which information do you want? You must have been consuming the garbage Lai and Shehu are spewing! |
GoroTango:Does the world know that Boko gang exist? |
jaytee01:Did you see that in your dream? IPOB has always affirmed they won't carry arms. What have you Arab brothers done to the Fulani herdsmen levelling communities with AK 47. Have you ever heard that the army will disarm them nationwide? Why would different laws apply to different people in this Lugard's contraption? |
DanseMacabre:No parasite leaves its host without a fight! |
whitebeard:Nonsense...this same army will look the other way when Fulani herdsmen are killing and buring down communities...How about that? |
heendrix:keep this post securely...You will come back to lick your vomit... IPOB has never asked or planned any war... |
Almaiga:Which game is shoting unarmed civilians? Are you that barbaric? |
vedaxcool:Your daftness is beyond imgination...I am literally stating the obvious...How dare you compare Myanmar with Biafra? are they the same...Can you tell what is happening in Myanmar like I did with Venezuela? We are watching, let your army shoot unarmed civilians and it will be taken up from there. |
.." the President will make sure that whatever is available to the people of this country, goes around the country and is evenly distributed.” Presidency Is this what we are seeing in this country now? Liars everywhere...What we are seeing is exclusion, and crude nepotism...in the mode of 97% and 5% divide... |
IPOB are not armed. There actions of agitating in a peaceful manner is well within the law and the ambit of international jurisprudence. If excessive force is used, Nigeria risk being sanctioned by the US and other democratic countries worldwide. A lesson should be learnt from what is going on in Venezuela...where there are US sanctions over the use of excessive force on protesters. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-venezuela-economy/venezuelas-maduro-seeks-debt-negotiations-after-u-s-sanctions-idUSKCN1BJ1K9 https://www.thenation.com/article/trumps-sanctions-make-economic-recovery-in-venezuela-nearly-impossible/ https://www.voanews.com/a/us-says-venezuela-sanctions-aim-at-behavior-not-regime-change-/4020220.html

sesaan:UN would do it..once they are convinced the people really want to go. Not be an arm race, but by peaceful civil disobedience processes! |
DanseMacabre:Get lost...you have no point.... |
sesaan:Sacred? Do I look like an Afonja to you?...You are a deep joke...If this boy did it to defend himself and his people...why would I be scared. Asking for referendum, is not asking for war? Is that what you are able to translate it?
|
GoroTango:...at the end what would the Hausa/Fulani soldiers achieve? It is to maintain the status quo. Are you clear in the head enough to understand this? |
DanseMacabre:DanseMacabre: Guy, bringing in All Terrain Vehicles and helicopters/fighter jets na small thing for government side o. No price is too high to say for the 'non-negotiability' of Nigeria's unity. Just watch and see. Is this you? What are you drooling about...? Do you know the meaning of comprehension? |
shaibu123:I needed to know, to understand why Enugu is going backwards. If he resides in Nsukka, he might not know what is going on in Enugu. |
Ejilaiknow:YOu have been shouting Good governance and good leadership since 1960..and nothinh seems to be working. Nigeria is the ONLY country that export crude oil and import refined petroleum product. Biafran refined crude using modular technology about 50 years ago. |
GoroTango:...Once they are gone...then you can relax and continue your evil born to rule nonsense, abi? |
DanseMacabre:Liar, I am responding to your drivel. I wasn't responding to the faceless government spokesperson. You should have shut your mouth instead. |
shaibu123:Does the governor live in Enugu or Nsukka? |
DanseMacabre:Did they use all these in NE? Why do you people love the SE what no government investments? Remember the SE has list IGR and contributes nothing? Why would you waste your time with the region, already abandoned by the central government? Wouldn't it have been fruitful if the cost of the invasion be used to repair the federal roads there? Do you see how senseless and clueless the government have been? |
DanseMacabre:Will they use donkeys to move to the areas to occupy? |
Would the army be using the roads repaired by IPOB in SE? Would they use catapillars or helicopters to move around the SE states with federal roads as death trap to motorists?

The Nigerian Army, Friday, said it would commence its second phase of Exercise PYTHON DANCE, tagged Python Dance II, otherwise known as EGWU EKE II, in the South Eastern part of Nigeria, comprising states such as Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo, from Friday 15 September to Saturday 14 October 2017. Army It said the Exercise Python Dance II “is conceptualised to transit into real time operations…against violent criminals and agitators when called upon.” A statement signed on behalf of the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusufu Buratai, by the Army Chief of Training and Operations, said the conduct of the exercise Python Dance II in the South East states has become even more expedient due to the “mindless assassinations (even in religious places), attack on security personnel, theft of weapons, armed banditry, kidnapping, cultism and violent agitations, as well as other security challenges that have recently become prevalent in the South Eastern part of the country.” It said, during the exercise, emphasis will be placed on raids, cordon and search operations, anti-kidnapping drills, road blocks, check points and show of force, as well as humanitarian activities such as medical outreach. It also said that the “Operation EGWU EKE II is set to be another epoch making exercise that would make the nation proud of the Nigerian Army’s determination at sustaining its constitutional role of defending the territorial integrity of the nation as well as its commitment to aid the civil authority to bring about peace and security in the south eastern part of our dear country.” It said, “In this regard, members of the public especially the residents of Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo States are enjoined not to panic as their safety and well-being is guaranteed at all times. The general public is requested to remain vigilant and be security conscious, as suspected criminals may be fleeing from military operations in these areas and finding safe haven amidst our communities. “The public is also reminded to report any suspicious activity or movement to the nearest military formation or other security agencies for prompt action. In order to ensure cordial civil-military relations, we shall make contact phone numbers of all Brigade Commanders public in addition to the Nigerian Army short code Information and Call Centre 193.” Read more at: https://www.vanguardngr.com/2017/09/breaking-nigerian-army-begin-exercise-python-dance-ii-south-east/ |
NLC resumes dialogue with Enugu Govt to revive moribund industries On September 8, 201711:24 am The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has resumed talks with Enugu State Government on the revival of moribund industries to create jobs for the teeming unemployed youths in the state. The state NLC Chairman, Comrade Virginus Nwobodo, told newsmen in Enugu on Friday that the congress was targeting revival of at least five moribund industries in the state. Nwobodo said that the move would not only improve revenue generation for the state, but also reduce the crime rate. “We are meeting with government to revive the ailing industries. Employment and security of lives and property will be assured through this move. “ If we have four to five moribund industries fully working, unemployment will be reduced,’’ he said. According to him, more industries coming on stream in the state will also reduce idleness and crimes in the state. On some state workers not captured during the verification exercise, Nwobodo said that their names were being compiled with a view to remedying the situation. “We are working to ensure that those that were not captured are captured and their salaries will start running once more,’’ he said. The labour leader commended Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for prompt payment of workers’ salaries. “Prompt payment of salaries has made labour not to have any cause to embark on strike,” Nwobodo said.
