Good evening Nairalanders. The saying that there are Angels in human form is absolutely true. The magnitude of financial aid carried out by some Nairalanders to those of us that are striving to survive was just so overwhelming.
Honestly, you brought smiles, tears of joy and hope to us. Even my lovely sister and the people around me benefited from your benevolence. Lack of funds to eat which led to her suffering from ulcer. It's just so pathetic.

I have been there and currently, the level of me being broke is just unbearable. It sounds weird but we just had oil and salt as our dinner even to buy garri is an issue. But, hearing my sweet sister cry of ulcer do shatter my heart and I believe all this will end soon. I can't even boast of a thousand naira in my account. Honestly story long but I want those set of people, including myself to believe that once there is life, there is hope for a better tomorrow and never forget that God's plan for us all are of good and not of evil.

The hatred the Federal government do show on Nigeria educational system is really uncalled for.

The fears, worries, words and pity I saw from people's reactions sent streams of fears and uncertainty to my fragile but able young body.

Those were the words coming out of the few huge guys I have ever come across, with his bulging eyes that seems as if it wants to fall off at any time coupled with his intimidating body structure, I doubt surviving his slaps with that huge scary hands of his. "Have you gone deaf?" snapped the CSO.

I am sorry sir, last night around 2:15am, we heard shouts of thief! theif!! theif!!! and my friend and I left the room in pursuit of the theif, we failed in catching him and decided to head back to our lodge. Please, we are innocent Sir, we committed no crime. "Oga, no mind them, na so them dey do, see as they gentle, you no go know say na criminal them be". "Enough of this bullshit, you two are prime suspects, the owner of the laptop said he saw you both climbing up the stairs when he was chasing the theif, after he couldn't find the criminal. lock them up". The thoughts of my sweet mom, my family and friends almost sent me crashing to the floor. My heart felt wounded and heavy that I cried so bitterly inwardly.

"Stop, let them go. The owner called, the culprit has been caught". That was how, we were almost locked up for crime we didn't commit. I was traumatized, couldn't eat well or think straight for a few days. My prayers and thoughts are with those unjustly accused and arrested for crimes they know nothing about.
