The tailbone pain is called sciatica, baby's weight pressing down on your sciatic nerve. I don't know of any remedy to it shaa. I just shift my weight to the other side when it hits ie if I was lying on my right I would turn to the left. As for the cs scar I do feel twinges and pulling around there, old scar tissues stretching out I guess. But pls if you are in any form of discomfort or the pressure comes with pain do well to see your gynae o.

This one doesn't go if I change position o, it started till evening n even when I wake to pee at night, it's still there.....lasted about 3 days or so... It's subsided now sha... As for the scar, I'll bring it up in my next appointment... Thanks alot

I went to another hospital today(private) for a second opinion and the Dr said my baby is just fine n there's nothing wrong with the size... After doing his own tape measurement.... Says I shouldn't mind the former one and that all is well so there's no need to do scan again... I thanked him n left... Now that I'm thinking of it, maybe the baby wasnt in the best position for a head to toe measurement.. Don't even know sef... I'm just glad all is well.. Tnx again mamas

Apologies but that doctor sounds irresponsible. Weight isn't a major factor at this point, fundal height gives a rough range. You can do a scan to give yourself peace but you need another doctor

What's your baby's weight, they usually have a chart where they would compare your baby's weight to the ideal weight to tell you how far behind it is. You can Google up the chart then do a scan and compare by yourself too. This doctor sounds like someone that likes raising false alarms sha because I don't see why he couldn't do a scan right away and settle your mind before you leave, instead of turning false prophet.

I tire o... I'll do the scan tmr n compare myself then... God forbid bad prophecy! As at the last time I did scan about a month ago, they said it's still too small to determine weight n all but the result showed 207g+-30g...whatever that means

He didn't even request to see the scan result... I didn't do the scan at that hospital.. He didn't 3ven listen for heartbeat o... Just used tape to measure fundal height n started giving his head headache not me... Just came back from antenatal and the Dr said things that got me worried,he said my baby is quite small for the age.. Actually it's too small and was asking if I'm sure baby kicks... It was even annoying me sef, me that as I'm typing, baby is kicking... So he asked if I've done scanat all, I said twice.... He said if by the next time I come, he doesnt like what he sees, he will ask for another scan... Now I'm abit worried... Anyone with similar issues? Is it OK? Do I eat more? Rest more? Sleep more? Or remove my mind... Pls don't ignore o... I'm 22wks...hd a 4.7kg baby n he said I don't look like u had a 4kg baby.. I just tire.

Mamas of NL, I dnt want to derail but I have a concern, I don't know but since I put to birth I have been so sensitive. Things normally am suppose to over look, I react, so inorder not to make a fool of myself, I came here to confirm if am over acting, thinking or worrying.

I have an hyperactive 20 months toddler that whenever we go out, people will always credit me that you are really trying. I think that add to the weakness but somehow I'm forcing myself to do things.

Please, try to stay active as much as possible, it sometimes helps one to get out of the weakness phase.

I gave birth to my first son in December 2018 via CS after scan showed I still had placenta previa...Though I had an history of PCOS & ovarian cyst.
My baby will be 10months old in about 2weeks time and I just discovered today that I'm pregnant again, 6weeks pregnant based on LMP.
We didn't plan for this, I don't even know how it happened, so this doesn't sound so much of a good news to us.
Just can't stop wondering if I am at any risk keeping this pregnancy cos I have been spotting on n off for some days now? I'm going to the hospital tomorrow to see the doctor.

Greetings top mamas.
I've wanted to want for the longest time ever! It's just that sometimes I'm in the mood, other times I'm like "whatever, I'm I the first person even carry belle"

I'm a FTM and I'm haywire most of the time. I'm 13w2d. Sometimes I want to explain to hubby but I don't even know where to start. The taste in my mouth is the most irritating thing ever! I don't even know what to do. I have tried and tried.

Or is it the fact that sometimes I just feel generally uncomfortable and generally irritated. I don't even recognize this my body again. It's like it doesn't listen to me, it just goes about behaving anyhow. I'm always tired and sometimes I can't even lift myself up.

Three weeks ago I was craving food all over the place, this week I just hate food. I just want to drink something. I thought they said it would all stop by second trimester, but they lied o. And I'll just be sweating and my back and my thighs would be painful. Is this how some women have up to six children? Nawa o
But...the Lord remains my strength.

This is my second missionary journey n second trimester... Where they said it's honeymoon but there's no honey in this moon... I'm tired all the time, my mood is on a gbas gbos levels... One minute I'm laughing, next one I'm weeping... One minute I'm full from eating, next one, I'm as hungry as a horse.... My back aches, my eyes hurt, my tommy long n DS has a way of making it his drum even after buying a drum for him... I want to meet my mummmmmy

Good afternoon mummies... Pls I have some worries /questions about my DS... I'm a ftm n I don't want to miss proper parenting.. DS is almost a year but while playing, he slaps so hard on the face n recently, he bites esp when he's restless from trying to sleep... I have done all I know to do, bite him back, hit him back, said no, even scolded him but he seems to forget n do it again... Very painful bites for that matter, n now when u want to hit him or when I loose it n scold him, I see fear all over him, he blinks several times n then starts to cry.... N goes really quiet... I need to pull him back again to make him jovial or something... I'm just worried so he doesn't go about biting people in his crèche but how do I do this without crushing his confidence(for lack of a better word)? Scolding abi shouting at him is making him act somehow(on days I don't spank him out of anger) Pls I'll be waiting for experienced mamas to help me chook mouth

Lmao, I can imagine the purging that would have followed, though I doubt your baby would have agreed to eat that.

In addition to what other mamas have said

I hardly give my kids anything I can't eat myself. So the key is to make baby-friendly versions of your every-day adult food.
My kids won't eat blended boiled rice, so I blend dry rice then boil.

Same goes for pasta. Some kids don't mind tho.

If it's like plantain or potatoes, I boil and blend then put back in the pot and cook like normal porridge.

Blend dry rice then cook it like you'll cook your normal jollof rice but with little or no pepper and maggi and bones.
Hope you're not using canned Sardine, instead buy fresh fish, as well as fresh ginger and garlic.

Don't mix ingredients that would normally not go in the same meal. You can coom soup with the spinach and feed him semo.

Choi... Thnx mama, I threw it away immediately I tasted it o... I used canned sardines, I'll switch... I can't stand the smell of garlic so I bought the blended ones... Are they not good enough? The thing with cooking his food is that he will eat like 3 or 4 spoons n not eat again... Making the whole thing tiresome which is why I went to buy friso on the first place...

So after blending the food, say boiled yam or potato, u cook again, ill definitely try it, tnx mama

I’m just feeling so down at the moment I don’t know if it’s hormones but I’m just feeling so out of it, like I just can’t recognise the human being in front of me. I know I should be grateful for this blessing but I feel I’m losing myself in the process. My face has become so much darker than the rest of my body, I’m adding weight at an extreme pace, I don’t want to go out anymore I don’t feel good in anything I wear. My lips are constantly peeling then I have all these dark spots on my face from the acne I had from the first trimester. I don’t have the energy to be myself, to do normal things, I’m just moody most of the time. I’m just thinking out loud though , and I hope I can feel better about myself as I continue this pregnancy. I’m not ungrateful.

A lot of people swear by onion water.

You take the dry outermost layer of onions and boil, use the water to bathe your lo but be careful as it stains so try to use a dark towel when you do this.

My baby is almost 2 months old now (7weeks+). Pls I'll like to ask if it's normal for a baby of that age not to poop for 5 days straight? He only farts & pees regularly, and doesn't show any sign of discomfort. I'm really worried cos for an adult, it's a thing of concern not to poop for that long . BTW, he's on EBF. Congratulations mama n welcome on board.... It's OK for him not to poop that long because of the EBF...he will poop eventually, there's nothing to worry about

We're in the same shoe. I guess you can't stop it. It's there stage and time. You also cannot be carrying the child up and down as this is their time to explore. It's your own little work to make the place baby safe (by being proactive, clean clean clean, pick anything on the floor before he does). It's hard but that's the price of being a parent. May God reward our patience and hardworking.
