TravelRe: Nigerian State Capitals That Are More Popular Than Their States by StPete: 9:40am On Nov 24, 2018
DuBLINGreenb:
You know nothing, what is your definition of popular?Except calabar revieves more than 1.5million tourists per year I'm very certain port Harcourt is more popular. People know cross river is a state more than they know rivers state is a state. I told someone from the north I'm from rivers state she didn't know what I was talking about until I said port Harcourt, but I don't think cross river is that level even if cross river is not famous if you mention it people will know it is in Nigeria.
e.g If 2million people know calabar 1.5m are familiar with cross river and all 2million will know C.R is in Nigeria with very little persuasion.
For PH it is worse because Port Harcourt is more populated than calabar and more famous yet people don't know Rivers state despite these high numbers, so if 3m people know port Harcourt 1m know rivers state which is more impressive than calabar considering the fact that cross river is more known than Rivers state due to how famous port Harcourt is. in the Rivers state itself the University of port Harcourt is not located in port Harcourt, port Harcourt international airport is not located in port Harcourt amongst many other things and yet port Harcourt has kept growing you now hear people saying things like Choba, port Harcourt meanwhile choba is supposed to be a neighbouring city or community just like port Harcourt but port Harcourt is swallowing it's surrounding cities and communities and making them districts in port Harcourt even when these communities and cities are bigger than port Harcourt itself. this is absolutely not the case in Calabar people know ogoja, obudu and so on port Harcourt has so over shadowed Rivers state that many non residents of the state know nowhere else but port Harcourt.
POPULArity and POPULAtion go hand in glove how can a place with a billion residents not be popular huh Do you know the definition of popular at all?
False! Very false!!!

Sikay19:
I don't know your age or your status but your opinion is very crass... Comparing Nigeria which is a secular state to core Islamic countries is unreasonable... this is Nigeria where you are allowed to practice religion of your choice. As muslims we have no problem with any forms of dressing every others wears. but Hijab is our identity and we shall not compromise on this... what I don't understand is why are you feeling insecure about this.. inferiority complex is the order of the day.
You didn’t read his write up, you just jumped on him like a dog on heat. Go back and read his words slowly. Read with an open mind and purge yourself off religious sentiments. It is better not to speak and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and confirm it

Thats correct.
My experience was different though.
My Director actually entrusted bigger job on me,
He gave me some extra work outside my job description.

Only to be fired at month end.

I was fired for a breech of company set rules not for incompetence.
I was one of their best hands. They felt bad losing me
That’s what you think. But nobody fires a good hand, not when you’re replaceable. You probably think this just to feel less depressed
FamilyRe: Has Been Found. by StPete: 7:46pm On Nov 12, 2018
He has been found and that’s it? No information as to what led to his initial disappearance? Or people who contributed to his search does not deserve to know how he was found? This is the most annoying post I’ve read in recent times

mypains:
Some days ago, I shared a story of my friend who went missing.
