Travel / Re: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by straynger: 6:38pm On Jul 31, 2016
Hi Bellong and other dons in the house, a quick clarification.

I have read here that EA accepts either of academic or general IELTS. I'm looking at taking the general, i perceive it might be easier. I dearly need 10 points in my prove of English to hit 65 points for my EOI.

Am wondering if the general IELTS is also acceptable for EOI submission or is it strictly academic? I don't want to take the exam twice o.

Thanks in anticipation.

Those with Hepatitis B should go for their dream jobs with no fear of descrimination
straynger:
Hello house,

I was diagnosed of hep B some three months ago and am about going for further tests.

More important now is that I was sucessful in all the recruitment process for a role in a multinational company( it's an experienced role and I was the only one sucessful).

Being the last stage I was sent a medical form to take to a specified hospital for medical assessment. Alas! on the form, hep B was part of the test to be conducted.

Pls house, what could be my fate after the company detects my hep B status? Would they not descriminate against me?

As anyone in the house ever been in a similar situation? how did it turn out? Would being hep B positive mean an end to one's career aspirations? Am very worried now, I have invested so in my self.

Lastly is there any organisation local or abroad that sees into the rigth of people living with hep B?

I got my offer today regardless of my Hepatitis B status. To perfect the success, the company offers a comprehensive medical plan (worth #2million/annum), meaning raising money to buy the drugs needed to tame the virus is no longer my headache.

Thanks to guys like Threemg
, cnnman and rugeddest for the encouraging comments. Guys that saw my post and ignore it I thank you too.

Success to all!

Peace!

My brother, you have heard it all I plead with you to key into that faith that led that person through the medical test and abroad and the Lord will see you through too. Now may the Lord bless you and keep you, may the Lord make his face to shine upon you as you go through the test and may the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace all through your journey and work with that company in Jesus name.

This is sole lifting, thanks a bunch bro.

Threemg:

FRET NOT boss, it may only be in the medical form so as to get ur employer well acquainted with ur HEPATITIS Status. A very close person, I mean close to my heart was faced with that challenge when he was sent a medical form to take to the clinic for same test which will even go a long way to determine his eligibility to travel abroad for almost a year training. Lo & Behold, It was clearly indicated in her test result that he was positive and that ends it. He traveled for the training & back now making his "almost a million" salary monthly. RELAX bro Infact many of these Multinationals hardly discriminate w.r.t health issues rather they'll even give u the care u least imagined and expected. It's Well Boss
